Bitcoin is really attract my attention since my first glance. It has value , fast transaction and low fee rather than my local cash. That's why I like owning bitcoin over cash. Recently many online shop has accept bitcoin as payment method , which is really helpfull for me to purchase something with bitcoin in real life.
You are a complete risk taker, I do not see anymore here who are owing more bitcoins that cash, and I believe a clever person knows how to determine the purpose of cash and bitcoin, cash is only for spending and that is acceptable by all of us while bitcoin for the time being is good for investment and though a currency but there are only few establishment that supports the acceptance of bitcoin. |

I would rather have bitcoins than cash as the digital currency is universal and will be accepted everywhere unlike cash which might not be welcome for exchange in certain parts of the world depending on the currency

just as I sometimes I use bitcoin sometimes also use usd for investement, but easier to use PHP in my opinion |

I still would like to have cash because then I would not have to go trough the whole bitcoin process.
Yes, your right. for now, we need both cash and bitcoins. but with the recent launches of different bitcoin debit cards, we can go cashless shopping by just having bitcoins on your debit cards. Even with the bitcoin debit card you still need the cash because there instances in which you go to shop and the merchants there do not accept debit card but ony accept cash may be by putting the nature of business he does in to consideration. So, there shoud be at least some availability of of cash. |

And even if you don't invest the money you have in bitcoins it will still be counted as an investment because the price of bitcoin grows with the time, while if you have that amount in cash it will be the same even if you keep them for years in a safe place. |

in fact it is indeed easy to use bitcoin but for long term investment I think bitcoin is not an option, because the price could not be in the prediction is not necessarily the future bitcoin will continue to rise |

You seems to not be getting the idea that bitcoin is definitely different from gold. Some people might say that it is some kind of internet gold however it is actually really different however on one hand you are right that the value of it will keep on getting higher each time passes |

Some people might say that it is some kind of internet gold however it is actually really different however on one hand you are right that the value of it will keep on getting higher each time passes But I never said that Bitcoin is gold. All I said is that Bitcoin is like gold and even specified in which aspect exactly it is like gold. It is like gold since both gold and Bitcoin are mostly used for investment purposes currently. It seems that a lot of people on the forum have nothing else to do but get themselves busy in nitpicking without a second thought whether their attempts at criticizing others had any relevance as well as validity to the matter in question. |

I do not understand why some people pay for everyday purchases Bitcoins. For me it's the same as if I buy a bar of gold, and in any cafe will saw off pieces of gold instead of dollars. Bitcoin is an investment for me.

just as I sometimes I use bitcoin sometimes also use usd for investement, but easier to use PHP in my opinion Which one is the PHP that you just mention or are you a programmer that talks about PHP all the time and in the course of talking about bitcoin you mistook bitcoin or USD for PHP in your writing. Please confirm to us the right word you that supposed to be there. |

I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.
1) More security (especially if you are careful).
2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.
3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.
4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.
In some points, i absolutely agree with you. The security of bitcoin system, as well as the blockchain, is remarkable, no Fiat can match with them. But during the Greek crisis last summer, investors have invested in gold and bitcoins, tell the traders and representatives of the bitcoin exchanges. I would still go for paper money because I do not use them as investment, I use them to invest. Honestly, my investment are only limited with bitcoin and some businesses in our country (physical store). I do trading as well but not really serious about it since I do not consider myself eligible to earn consistent money in trading yet. In my real business in my country, I can easy grow my money as I was able to use my skills and passion and I am satisfied with the result but since I am here, I will not limit my earnings here and instead I will explore more options to make money. |

I'd still prefer to have cash in my pocket rather than just having bitcoin. I don't think a time in our lives will come when we won't need paper money anymore. Perhaps in the far future we won't but now it's more of a necessity to have cash on hand. I'd just keep my bitcoins for now and wait for the price to go up or try to play with it in tradings but im not yet choosing bitcoin over fiat for now.

It is convenient to use the cash. But you cannot save too many cash for the long term as they will devaluate. |
