Well in my opinion the bitcoin has a lot of advantages if you compare it with the normal cash in real life.

I rather have bitcoin instead of cash because it is like a portable bank in my opinion. I can convert it to fiat anytime I want and get the money I got from converting from bitcoin fast here in my country. Also, it is easier to use on online transactions, unlike fiat that is hard to use on online transactions, since sometimes you have to give credit card information or risk your identity.

Even though that is already happening that there are places and people who are accepting payments by means of bitcoin. But we must be open minded that we need to keep on using cash because it is necessary. We will see on how far bitcoin can make in terms of financial services when there are big countries will endorse and adopt it.

We are far away bitcoin will dominate the world. Banks will fight it and their plans include creation of their coins using centralized blockchains. Till now banks and governments follow "wait and see" strategy because bitcoin supporters are a small percentage compared the worldwide population.
