Why have Bitcoin instead of cash?

Bitcoin and my local fiat indeed complement each other but there are times when Bitcoin stands tall that I prefer it over my fiat. It's like I own my own banks and have the keys and can decide when to close the vault and when to open it. It gives me that liberty of access and security that I don't have to pay for unlike the fiat.

It is really great that Bitcoin is a part of your currency system. I have the same thought like you. Not like fiat, we can easily control our Bitcoin through our wallet and moreoever, we do not have to pay tax while using Bitcoin. In general, Bitcoin is better than FIAT in many aspects and if the world accepts it, the Earth will become greater

who said gold is unknown? even if you're living in the 3rd world country which have really poor citizen and barely touching technology they're all know what is gold, gold already popular since centuries ago.

Depend on what purpose do you want to hold bitcoin.

Let say if you want to transfer globally for your family from Asia to Europe Zone, with cash usually people use WU service that charge quite high fee but if we send them with bitcoin which faster transaction and lowest fee compare cash/fiat

But in this case the received should know about bitcoin and how to claim if not how will they going to claim the bitcoins. So still their are some work which has to be done through cash only.

Of course, otherwise it won't work. Both parties should be educated and not just the sender, actually it's easy to educate someone about bitcoin if he is a member of your family, they will understand it easily because they trust you.

yes learning about bitcoin is not such a difficult job i think one can learn about bitcoin how to buy or sell or even how to use it for transaction. i think one can learn all these thing in few days. because there is not such a technical thing i bitcoin to learn or practice.

Bitcoin is more safe to carry a lot of amount than money.Besides carrying this is much hastle free and easy to transfer.If every store and shop starts accepting bitcoin people won't carry cash more But spreading the idea of this kind of exchange can help this process a lot. I agree with you. bitcoin more convenient than cash. especially when transactions are carried out require change. if you do not have any money with small nominal would be more difficult if the seller must give change money.

Cash in digital and paper money form must exist, there's no chance it will be vanish and replace with something like a crypto currencies. Imagine how big the network for digital fiat currency and paper money, these people are using it for a simply reason, it's government regular and not hard to understand.

Im using bitcoins to store my savings, in the general, i am using some altcoins to store btc as well some ammount applied into bitcoin as well, bitcoins grows more then if i let my savings at bank besides those the huge potencial to get better price does make it an atractive investment.

for example: our hands will not be exposed to germs from other people and has no weight because we can store them online.

Paper money or fiat money might not be entirely clean but I haven't seen someone around got sick because he held money. Maybe if someone swallowed a coin, then there would be problems. Like how can the germs even go inside you? Only thing I can think of is through your mouth since your hands are used for eating. But who's unsanitary enough to never wash their hands before eating while being aware that they held different coins from different people?

I don't think that's a factor that would make people prefer having bitcoin instead of cash but it's a slight advantage, I guess.

From where I stand over here, having cash now in this current economy is like having paper as the value of what it can get decreases every day by day which is not good for anyone which means the value of my money have to move in that direction or more if I will have to buy the same quantity I bought a week ago and the only means that can happen is keeping my money in bitcoin which is risky though but I am ready to leave by that.

i think the number of bitcoin shops are increasing, as in my areas when i start using bitcoin there was no shop in my area who was accepting bitcoin, but now after one year i can see that there are 2 or 3 shops who are accepting bitcoin for shopping. i think it is a good progress and hopeful that this tend will continue and more and more shops will start accepting bitcoin.

I'm doing that also but it is really hard to implement this where you are living in society that are fully using fiat. Because here in my place only very few people knows what is bitcoin and uses it. But if we wanted to have a very fast transaction and lesser fees, bitcoin is the right choice for it and it cannot be stolen by someone.

yes I think for investments and savings, I'd prefer bitcoin over fiat. it would pretty much be the same as when you save btc's, the price would be moving as well and you'll earn more with your savings a lot faster than when you save in a bank. for for transactions in the real world, I think there wont be any argument that cash is much more needed is a lot more important than bitcoin
