So throughput according to my simplecoin account is drastically either:

A. Underaccounted by the pool itself

or

B. Underreported by the accounting software.

POCLBM console never dips below 375 Mhps.

Simplecoin.us first update showed 315 Mhps. Second update showed 301 Mhps.

Aggregate Ghps for pool also seems to fluctuate wildly, although in a small pool, that seems not unreasonable..

Hash rate is not direct from your miner, rather it accounts for the number of valid shares, over a given amount of time. Some shares take longer to hash out. So this is reflected in your MH/s!

But the number of hashes my GPU computes per second is a fixed (essentially) number, regardless of how long the share takes to hash. 1 second or one century, my 5870 outputs ~380 Mhps...

What am I missing here?

My thought as well.
I don't get the fees and where and when its paid right.

AFAIK does the current client have a minimum fee of 0.01 btc for every transaction below 0.01 btc transaction value. And above its 0.01 per KB per transaction (well with this system it will be complicated in future to persuade non-Nerd human beeings to use bitcoin)

The transaction fee is afaik paid by the sender and distributed to the nodes that solved the block, used for the transaction.

Since this is a pool: i am not sure what that means and how this is handled.

IMO All clients that helped to solve a block should receive a share form that fee...

Well im a little confused. Maybe someone could explain how that is handled?

Bit confused here as well.   AFAIK, transactions fees can't be enforced no matter what (One is hardcoded in 0.3.22 if there are too many pending transactions, but the code could be modified to give it 0.3.20 behavior ), and I don't mind waiting a while for my BTC to arrive, but as I'm a small miner (0.05 BTC/day more or less with my puny 9600GT, but hey, nearly free electricity!), a TX fee of 0.01 would be a lot for me. I think this would be true for all small miners, or anyone who just wants to see his/her money quickly.

With the appreciating cost of bitcoin, it would be wise to simply hold onto that balance for awhile, rather than cashing out frequently.

That way you can avoid high fees and if the difficulty continues to rise.. so will the value of unused bitcoin.

Your hash rate is estimated.

If you are accepting shares faster in a given period of time, it will assume your hash rate is higher. Likewise if you are accepting shares slower it will assume it is lower.

- Where is my userumber/ID? I just see my Accountname in my account (i want to know if im in the top 20)
- Add the current time/difference or at least the time zone to stats. I am located in Germany and can not calculate anything from the last block creation time, since i am located in a different time zone.

I'm a little higher hashrate than many here so YMMV, but when I watch my miner, I'll see some shares tick like seconds of the day. Others will be 10-15 seconds long. If I'm submitting shares 15 seconds apart the system will surly see my hashrate as being lower than when I'm submitting shares 1 second apart!

Compare your hashrate to the top 20 list, and you may be able to decipher which one you are.

Compare your hashrate to the top 20 list, and you may be able to decipher which one you are.

Ok, for fees, the 0.001% is the top variance of the score based payout. The .01 is on cashout, as I am charged a tx fee by the official client to send it. I'm already on the losing side monetarily, so .01x100 users is a loss of 1btc + up to an additonal 1btc in score variance per round if I am unlucky.

So, that being said, the simplest way to cut my losses and keep the fees low is to charge the tx fee on cashout.

At first your user id was easy to see in the hashrates, but I will add it to the Account Details page

As for timezone, the server is in Los Angeles, but seems to be on eastern time, which is GMT - 4

To implement the cheat-proof scoring, even though you're taking a loss by doing so, is pretty fantastic. Also all the crazy math you've had to do over there to put it in place can't be too fun. So thanks for all that.

One quick question - when we find a block, will it be posted on the website before it matures? Or only after it's matured do we see that we found one?

No, the pool is new. To solve a block a day at the current difficulty, we would need ~25GHs.
This means we will generally see payouts less often, but more rewarding payouts.

So are diffferent pools working on different blocks? Or do they all try and solve the same one?
