What payouts again? Cause, really, either I am not understanding it or the stats say:
Est. Earnings: 0.28727599 BTC

whilst the current balance still hasn't moved from 0 BTC. Am I missing something here? (I've been running for like ~2 days).

Yes you're missing something - we don't get paid out (earnings moved into the current balance) until we solve a block. And we haven't done that since Tuesday, so that's why you're still at 0.

Your Est. Earnings of .28 BTC means that you'd get roughly .28 BTC if we solved a block at this moment. Keep in mind it's estimated so the actual payout might be a bit higher or lower.

When someone of this pool, finds a block, we will be paid roughly what the estimated says. I've been running two days too! Our time will come!

Ahhh, ok, gotcha (x.

Out of curiosity though, why do the payouts occur when a block is found/solved?

Can't pay if there is nothing to pay with! When the pool gets 50BTC, we get our cut! Wink

If you are getting stales, you may want to try pointing to main.simplecoin.us, that is the direct route to pushpool.

I noticed a few extra when using simplecoin.us before my dns updated.

Your dns should have updated by now making them the same address. If you like, you can try backup.simplecoin.us (that was the original server).
