worst mistake I did with bitcoin is when I lost 0.8 BTC in gambling. the price was at 600 USD back then.

Maximum number of people does the same mistake. Even I did it. Once you have a bitcoin you want to make it double or triple in a quick time and gambling is the only option left for all. So everyone have lost their bitcoins in gambling to grow it in a quick time.

Satoshi didn't.  Grin

tho I agree that most people probably did gave in to temptation of getting rich quickly at least once in their lives.

Not selling my really worthy shares when they were worth much. I could have been rich but i waited with selling until they dropped down much. Always hoped they will recover and thought they were so good, selling is a too big step.

I was wrong. Though maybe my later investment errors would have made a correct handling at that time irrelevant too. Maybe i would have lost the additional profit then too.

I mined in the past and the address was not mine Sad

Do you mean that you mined BTC to address that wasn't yours? Is this even possible?
Or you probably mined some BTC and wanted to withdraw them, but you copied the wrong address, am I right?

My worst mistake I have done with BItcoin is spending as much time within crypto that I have.

But.. To answer in terms of financial that biggest mistake was in the early days "gambling" many bitcoin and then watching the price rocket to 1k+.

Shame I never had the amount I would have had I not had a flutter more than what was needed.

I lost it on Primedice.com

I lost it all at primedice Sad

Dont double post. I see that you're wearing another gambling site signature tag, have you quit gambling? If you have quit, good. If you have not, try to stay away from them as far as possible.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

The worst mistake was investing in people who are gambling dice.
They usually never return.

One of the biggest mistakes I remember is reading about it pre-100 dollars, ignoring it because they always talked about it in a negative connotation back then (i only looked at mainstream media back then, big mistake as well) so I ignored the possibility to get a lot of BTC for only 100 dollars each.

What's the worst mistake you did with your Bitcoin? It can vary from starting to use Bitcoin to buying dumped Altcoin to gambling.

The worst mistake I made with Bitcoin is... Buying cloud mining hashrate. I bought 0.02 GH/s CEX.IO hash rate voucher at SEOClerk for $2 USD - or maybe $1 USD. I thought with 0.02 GH/s, I would be making a profit in half a year.. And I was wrong.

Well, I bought using the free five dollars coupon. So that does not count as making a mistake with Bitcoin. However, the slow profit lead me to buying hashing power from CEX.IO and later on.. ZeusHash using the Bitcoin I earned from signature campaign.. Again, I thought I would be making profit in a few months. Till today, I'm sure I have not make any profit from both the company yet. CEX.IO stopped their cloud mining operation and.. ZeusHash.. What do you think.?

The worst mistake I made with bitcoin was to buy dogecoin when the price of bitcoin was low and was lowering every day. With the hope that dogecoin will be increased in price compare with bitcoin I hoped that one day I would change again my dogecoin in bitcoin earning more bitcoin than before. I waited about two-three week but the price of dogecoin gone down and the price of bitcoin gone higher. So I lost some bitcoin. I changed again but with lost. Until this day no trade with bitcoin. Put those in my wallet and conserved there.

Dogecoin was actually one of the best investment moves I ever did, and the fun part is I mined most of them at the very beginning when everyone thought it was a joke, and it was mined through a shitty desktop computer with a gaming GPU. I could have sold at 200, but sold at 100 something. That was my first good stack of BTC, almost made a BTC alone with that.

Well. You have a neat idea to increase your Bitcoin by trading to Altcoin while the price is falling down. However, I think you choose the wrong Altcoin and at a wrong time. Next time, do some research on the market trend before deciding which Altcoin to convert into. I hope you will continue to trade and earn Bitcoin. Trading is better than gambling.

I did collect some Dogecoin from faucet. Hoping the coin will reach the moon. Well when Dogecoin came out, I have no interest in cryptocurency at all. I would rather spend time (and GPU) playing computer games. Still collecting small amount of Dogecoin from day to day. Smiley.

My worst mistake was when I trade my 0.5btc to some xpy at rate 0.01xx . At that time I thought that xpy has a great future, but I was wrong. Wanted to get some profit but in fact I lost it and finally I sold my xpy at rate 0.006xx. So i lost around 0.2x btc..

Im not sure if its possible when you solomine, though i think there is no reason why not, but most probably he used a pool where he mined. He had an referrer and he added his referrers bitcoin address as the address where the mining income is sent to. So he lost the coins to his referrer.

Invested in LTCGear and ZeusHash. I invested over $6000 worth of bitcoin in LTCGear (most of it was reinvested earnings) and finally had to sell my account for chump change just last week. ZeusHash has had my MHS contract frozen which cost a total of about 3BTC. It's been frozen for the past 8 months and there is zero support, as well as no way for me to sell the account. Cloud mining is horrible, I tell you!

And who did you the favor of teaching you that life lesson? Relatives, work buddies or what? Tongue

At the end... having such friends would mean they would steal your money too when they could... i guess.
