The worst mistake was not listening to my friend earlier in 2012. If I knew BTC back then I would have owned a hunderds of them by now I feel you man. I also have a friend who tried to pull me in using bitcoin. But due to my laziness and not having more knowledge about bitcoin I ignored it. Now here I am. Still a newbie and forever will be. But have some knowledge regarding bitcoin and wont leave it now. |

The worst mistake was invest in hashprofit.com, probably over 1 btc. IO though I was a early with hashprofit.

Many websites of investment bitcoin are scam or can't get profit as much as our expectation. We must be smart investor and know details a business which will investing. |

Many websites of investment bitcoin are scam or can't get profit as much as our expectation. We must be smart investor and know details a business which will investing. Yup! just like you said there are really tons of scam investment sites out there so be very careful you can always report it here in the forum if what are the sites that are ponzi or scam so others here will not be fooled by them you can prevent and help other people by doing so!  |

I think we have the same story issue, I have known bitcoin since 2011 I ignore it because I don't understand back then how it works sad to say this recent 2015 someone open my eyes! on bitcoin and how to earn it then that is the biggest regrets I made well at least I learn from that mistake, |

Like the Mt Gox saga, we can't really say that this kind of company will eventually turned to scam. Even the famous exchange sites today can be turned to scam so as a precaution never put all your eggs in one basket. There are lot of big exchanges today and we can use some of them at the same time disregarding their rates. In case of HYIP program and ponzi scheme, awaring the public about that are quite easy because all ponzi scheme has only one common denominator when introducing their scheme in the public. |

Yeah especially gambling we should be very careful and well prepared before gambling our Bitcoin I have seen few people becoming super rich and more people losing most at gambling |

Like many of us i did buy into some scams. Most worse were GAW and LTCgear
Luckily i learned from it and decided not to invest these scams.
