The worst mistake that I've done is when I spend all of my bitcoin during its low price.
Most of people doing what you already did, and we just fooling ourselves in the  end. That is hurt man

Hahaha same here, I only use the satoshi earned from faucets though, so it's actually not that bad

It's still wrong but it's entertaining to me though.

when i think that ponzi website is really an investment for a long time and they will really pay you , I am too ignorant to believe that. I just waste my 0.08 bitcoins and end up being scammed.

0.08 BTC for someone like you and me is a big amount. No worries. Spending 0.08 BTC for such a good lesson is worth it. You will never believe in ponzi scheme again. Smiley.

I purchased some bitcoins at $250, and I sold them right before the rising that hit $400. I wish I was patient!

Ahh. You mean the recent bubble (before Black Friday bubble)? I remember seeing some people selling off before it hit 400. You are not the only one. You made some good profit, did you? Selling right before it hit 400 USD means you made a profit of about 50 USD to a 150 USD right?

when i think that ponzi website is really an investment for a long time and they will really pay you , I am too ignorant to believe that. I just waste my 0.08 bitcoins and end up being scammed.

well at least you didnt lose to much.  i was scammed out of 2 BTC by selling on ebay and paypal.  Beware of paypl there is thousands of hacked accounts just waiting to pounce.

I am ordering something from Ebay via All4BTC now. I hope that I dont end up being scammed from the seller or All4BTC. Let's wait.

My worst mistake was not paying attention and learning how bitcoin exactly works last 2011. I had my computer shop then and kept on seeing the word bitcoin and faucets on some website ads. If maybe I knew then how bitcoin exactly works, who knows, my rank would here would be legendary or hero...  Cheesy Cheesy.. Then last 2013 someone posted  on facebook group about captcoin and how to create your bitcoin wallet then I started to learn how to earn some on faucets but then another big  mistake, I did not further engaged on it  and was not curious enough to learn more. I stopped then and just started again september this year and this time I am more curious and really wanted to know everything I need to learn about bitcoins.

Welcome to the world of Bitcoin! Welcome to Bitcointalk! Similar mistake here. I heard of Bitcoin in 2012 and learnt about faucets. I claimed from a dozen of faucets everyday for a week or two. I manage to earn 0.10 USD. I found it is too low and so I left the Bitcoin community. I only came back in October last year. I learnt that I can earn more Bitcoin by posting on Bitcointalk (here!) than on faucets. Today I am earning 25 USD every month. If I have the time, I could even earn 50 USD per month. I manage to earn 50 USD in August and another 50 USD in September this year just by posting at Bitcointalk. And ... no worries, we are still consider early adopters as Bitcoin is only six years old only. Cheer. Smiley.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

when "click" on BBC had a short report about bitcoin, the price was 1.5$ I think. I started mining one year later, when the difficulty had changed too much!

Gambling with it

Even though I used the satoshi I made with faucets, it's still a loss for me

It takes longer to collect all the satoshi but I lost them pretty fast.

i also have to agree, usually I'm smart about my money and really dont put money into things that have risk involved. But when i started out with bitcoin, I firstly invested into a hyip (which turned out be a ponzi ofc), and gambled 0.2btc all in one go and lost it all.

Yeah, that's good to know I am still early adopter. Hope bitcoin price gets better.

Quiet high amount.

It's really annoying to see some post like that. You able to managed to lost with that amount so I see you are really into gambling but with that sad face I see you just take a risk without thinking first.

That's not good to hear. The only thing you can do with that is move on to bigger and better things and try to see if you've could've seen it coming or not so you could try to avoid it next time.

Worst mistake I did with bitcoin is not careful from getting scammed.
Although I just lost few dollars, I can't believe a scammer had deceived me to buy a misspell domain through PM.

You just can't trust even the ranked users these days.

Well this is around 36 dollars or so right now. That is a bit of money but no high amount.
Yesterday I commented to somebody who lost a whole 1 BTC. That hurts way more I'd say.
But he seemed to take it easy. And of course it was because of gambling.Maybe he made some bigger profits before.

Rank doesn't mean anything these days, the original users could've sold it to some random person

I'm always trying to keep my eyes open for these things but sometimes it's hard to tell what to look out for

I think the worst thing I ever made with my bitcoins is buying cloud mining Ghashes, I lost nearly 300$ to make a revenue
of .09-.24$ per day that's really not worthing anything, finally I sold my Ghashes for a little amount.
