You can add such one indeed. I've almost been there myself. I saw someone opening a topic in which he claimed that he wanted to loan a particular (quite small) amount of BTC for a good cause. I though hey, I could do that as I do not use that amount of BTC in my wallet. I almost wanted to reply but I got interupted by the telephone - I had to head to work. Later on, I saw the particular TS has faulted on his loan as he became inactive..  I'm glad I did not hand him that loan.

Good that the telephone interrupted you. I'm thinking to open up a thread for micro lending. However, reading what you (and others) said, I think I better stay out of this line. Bitcoin leading is a very risky business. The borrower can run away anytime and the police can knock on your door anytime.

Altcointrading it was.  Roll Eyes Yeah, it is a risky field of trading and i should have avoided it. Or maybe i should have learned more about it before trying to get rich on there. *lol*

Ahh. I also find out that Altcointrading require patience and time. You need to be on your computer (or phone - have internet access) most of the time. So you can bump some pump coin and "dump" them when others is dumping.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

I have lost a lot with altcoin trading, but once you get how things work money can be made. You need a lot of luck to try to guess the right pump tho, but with patience the pumps arrive, so pick your favorite up and coming coin when its cheap as hell and wait for a pump.

This method is quiet common with newly released coins or Ninja launch coins.
When people know about those, their trading volume and demand increases and the prices also increase like hell.

I used to say not having bought more but bitcoins are not worth as much as they were so there wouldn't have been that much profit (though I believe in the long term there will be). I'd rather just earn them now instead of buying them with my own money though.

Hmm like economic law, if someone get lost, then on other side surely there is other person get profit from this. So we can say altcoin is like gambling, which everyone cant be winner at same time.

That's True. We have opportunity to earn bitcoins from signature campaign, So it is better to earn rather then buying it, So once you have a good amount of bitcoins in your wallet, there are alternative ways to grow your bitcoins, No doubt can prove to  be a risky while getting into gambling or trading, I have lost 0.2 BTC in gambling, and want to recover it very soon  Angry

I think micro lending can still be a way to actually make money (if that is your goal). You might ask for collateral (for example in Altcoins, although they're quite volatile) or only accept small amounts for users with good trust ratings. Doing business in this way, you decrease the chance to get scammed. Yes, some might still default on your loan, but you should be able to compensate those losses with profits from other trades.

- -

Altcoin trading made me some money, and made me loose some money. I think, in the end, I did make more BTC with it than I lost, so for me it was not a mistake. Besides that, I like it. I'm currently not into short term trading anymore as it indeed costs a lot of time. You should watch the orders quite often in order to underestimate the next move of the market. I currently don't have the time for that, but I think I'll start short term trading again as soon as I've got the time for that.

{Curently quite inactive as I'm really busy in my private life. I will get back soon!}

Most of the new people will believe and loose their investments in trading because they just read about trading in any forum that they can become rich quite faster compare to any other method. People should know that 90% investors will fail in trading and only few % of people are successful so for but if they continue again in trading for long time then one fine day they also will loss all of their money in trading. So trading is quite dangerous game one should be very careful before investing in trading.

The only way to succed is OR big enough bankroll to finance your own pumps, OR inside info, all the other analyzing bs is real bullshit, no-one can tell you what is going to happen, unless they do it themselves Smiley

Yeah I may loose again I know but I believe I will have patience and would gamble when I would be sure that this time I would definitely win then only I would gamble or else not and 0.2 is not a big amount for me, So I would easily recover it whether by gambling or trading But I would definitely recover it that is for sure, and this time I will make sure that I win  Wink

hahaha lol.
Only those people get into gambling who doesn't have any patience and want to make money in much less time.
Gamblers are always the impatient persons.
That's why the gambling sites make money and people loose money but they always think that they can beat the house edge and deposit more after loosing previously but never get money back.
I've seen very rarely that someone say to me that they have made good ROI in gambling.

So let me bust this myth for you! I have made decent returns through gambling and through investments. You can check my profile on Fortunejack to see how much i have made. True, gamblers are sometimes impatient and greedy which is what actually causes their downfall, but not everyone is a hardcore gambler and not everyone is addicted! You can get some decent returns from gambling by setting yourself a target and playing the lower edge games like dice. When people start winning, unfortunately they seem to have a surge of adrenaline which pushes them further and further until they lose everything. So yeah, while most gamblers may be impatient or greedy like you have said, there are some people who are level headed too and make money off casinos.
