What do you mean by going full time on bitcoin? Just having a job that pays in bitcoins? Huh

Even though I find btc fascinating and see potential, right now, it's too volatile for 100% reliance.

It might be a good investment for the future, but I still gotta live now

The problem with going full time on bitcoin, for now, is that you cant really spend the bitcoins unless you live in Netherlands or in USA.

In other countries you are lucky if you find 2-3 ATM's and maybe 10-20 companies that accept it.

The only option is to buy from the internet, but even that has limitations for international shipping, fucking customs taxes and bullshit like that.

I understand but it is possible with the new bitcoin debit cards, but the fees are a bit high.

Yea but most people either buy bitcoin, or they would get it from their fulltime "salary" being paid in bitcoin.

They would not risk it on the fees, so they go with fiat for now.

_________

If there would be more methods to earn bitcoin, then people would easily use the debit card more, as that would be an extra income other than salary.

More opportunity to use bitcoin, more people interested and more the bitcoin debit card will be used and yeah it does not worth if we don't have a good amount of bitcoin to spend.

Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.

No, bitcoin is too volatile for me to consider it as a stable main income source for the rest of my life.  I consider it a supplement to my primary sources of income.  If one day bitcoin goes to the moon and I am a multi millionaire then I would probably take enough fiat off the table to make non-bitcoin investments to provide security that I would not feel the bitcoin guaranteed.

It depends if im earning 5-10 BTC a day without miss, i will quit my day job. Earning that amount of btc everyday is very nice, you can support your family and your daily habit by that.

why you need to earn that much, i doubt you're making the same with your real life job, yeah bitcoin is unstable

but this amount you want far exceed any regular job out there, if you can earn 1 btc a day you should already leave your normal job...

5 BTC a day means 150 BTC in a month which approx. is ~35,000 USD
I think it is just enough this income for a year not for a month lol.
If i earn so much i would leave immediately wouldn't think twice Smiley

Indeed. Like they were saying even 1 BTC/day would be nice but if you're living off that you would need to wory about taxes. That's important.

1 btc a month is way too much already, in my example, we are talking about $7k per month, i doubt here the majority are making so big, when you have a large bunch of dude still asking to earn money with faucets...

Guys this seems impossible for me, 1 BTC a day is simple too much.
You can live with 1 BTC (just for 1 person) in my country with limited minimal expenses.
If i earn 1 bitcoin a day, i would consider myself a bit "rich" , don't know about you.
