With Amla gone, I believe India will be the favourites.
They just have to keep chipping away.
Yes Amla wicket would be big hope for India to win this test. But South Africa aim for historic blockathon to draw this match. They have quality batsmen to do so. So, I guess still there are chances for draw as well as for India winning. If South Africa draw this test match, that would be new record. I do not think that is possible for them in India pitch. The new ball has been taken, that would be the new beginning for India hope to win this match to white wash South Africa 3-0 in this series. But there are lot of chances for South Africa to create new record of playing many maiden overs to draw this match. India bowling is missing the fire works to force the batsmen to make mistakes to get out. So, South Africa dominates now towards a draw. |

after a good fighting from southafrica is falling in this last session and now they are 143/9 now only 1 wicket is left and still 19 overs are pending, this test match is gone very good with south africa showing a good fight in the second inning |

Things can change very easily. South Africa lost the next 5 wickets for 9 runs. Somebody who had bet on a draw initially, should have reversed his bets and locked his profits when the odds were in his favour. |

It was really great to see India winning this one. I was really tensed when ABD was standing on the crease, but a sense of joy dawned upon me when the 6th wicket fell down and after that withing 15 mins the whole team was all out. Easy Weasy! I guess I won for the first time in my life on India.

Even though SA failed to draw this test match but they really played matured test cricket. AB de Villiers played out 297 balls and Amla 244 balls, just these two guys played one whole day match of around 90 overs. This is the real test cricket, having lost only five wickets in 138 overs until tea on day five, South Africa lost their last five wickets in the space of just 27 balls. This is what something can't understand how cheaply those last five wickets they lost it. |
