We had such a comprehensive discussion before the start of the ICC champions trophy as India shouldn't be allowed to play if they cannot visit Pakistan or Pakistan should also not visit India for ICC tournaments, but it was all very clear that PCB is a not a big cricket board and BCCI have a big say in the ICC and things proceed accordingly. Hasan Nawaz has been able to show quite good skills in the opening pair. However, one can never expect anything good by performing well in one match. The Pakistan team has been performing poorly for a long time and to see if they have really returned to form, they must review the performance of a few more matches. There is a general trend in the Pakistan team that they do well in one match but do so badly in another match or any other match that can never be predicted. Without any doubts, this is one of the best display of batting by Pakistani youngsters in this game after losing first two games of the series things were going badly against them in today game New Zealand hammered 204 which was looking huge target.

Hassan Nawaz almost single-handedly won the game for Pakistan. He scored 105 from 45 balls, at a strike rate of 233. And this was needed to win the match, as the required run rate is more than 10 runs per over. Also need to mention Mohammad Haris, who put 74 runs for the first wicket partnership with Nawaz. All of the New Zealand bowlers were expensive. Kyle Jamieson, who was impressive in the initial matches went for 54 runs from his 4 overs. Ben Sears went for 51 from his 4.

What I know about the Hellenic Cricket Federation (Eλληνική Oμoσπoνδία Kρίκετ) is that they have been in existence for quite a long time (since 1996). The administrative structure is mostly comprised of ethnic Greeks and the national team is also primarily comprised of native Greeks. And this is unlike some of the other European teams such as Hungary, Czechia and Norway, where there are no natives or citizens in the national team. Now whether the Federation is corrupt or not, I don't have any idea.

Yes, the series is not that important, especially after their disappointing performance in the Champions Trophy. They lost the first two matches very miserably, suddenly they performed brilliantly in the third match and chased down a target of 205 and won the match by a huge margin of 9 wickets. This win will definitely be memorable for them. But I don't see any reason for them to get overly excited, today's match will definitely help them gain confidence. But if they can't use the confidence from this match to win the series and be consistent in the future, then their historic victory is of no value. We might even see the real face of Pakistan in the next match.

Since the tournament is over, there is no point in saying anything anymore. There was a lot of discussion about this issue before and after the final. Many in the cricket world feel that there is some difference here. One team will get an extra advantage and the other team will not get it. If the game is conducted with such discrimination, there will definitely be criticism. There is no point in talking about what happened in the past, but in the future, the ICC must give importance to such issues, otherwise the criticism will continue. Although India deserves to win the final, in the interest of conducting a good tournament, these issues should be considered seriously so that there is no dispute.

Namibia's performance in the first match of this series is not so good.  That's why I would appreciate them improving in the second match.  Canadian batsmen didn't target well so I will reward them for a good performance and strengthen themselves to do well in this series and improve themselves.  Namibia have proven themselves with a very good performance and they should win the next match and wear down Canada which would put them in a much better position and enough to win the series.  And in this innings they have played quite well but they have managed to win in the entire over.

I agree with you that Pakistan should not celebrate too much about winning one game. It is good that they played well and scored enough runs to win but we need to be realistic. They still have two more games to play and they might not even win series. We also need to remember that this is not big tournament like World Cup or Champions Trophy where Pakistan did not do well in past. Hasan Nawaz played really well which helped Pakistan to win but they can not just rely on one player. Pakistan needs to stay focused and keep playing well if they want to win series and even if they do it is not going to be super special achievement.
