The idea that Pep has to bring in 7 - 9 new players for Man-City to click is ridiculous. Of Pep's purchases... Bravo and Nolito have had no impact at all, Stone is not as reliable yet and for Gundogan... injuries have not given him a chance to be a pivotal player. IMO, Pep as a manager has to be a bit flexible in how he can get the best of the squad he has with a bit of changes, not anything as radical as is being suggested.

I do agree that Pep has made some mistakes the biggest mistake in my opinion was loaning out Joe Hart to Roma as Bravo has been a complete bust for City and Pep this season. I also agree that Nolito hasn't had much impact at all, well I would say that he is not consistent as Pep would of liked him to be. Stones I think we get better as time goes on as he is still very young and learning Pep's style of play so I think next season we'll start to see a better performance by Stones. It will be interesting to see what Pep does in the summer transfer window.

no matter how the conditions of the players Man. City should have qualified coach Pep as the world can take advantage of existing players to get achievements with the team at least they have to be always consistent play to win in every game. but, in the game against Liverpool, last night proved that Klopp is still superior to every meet him, and Klopp managed to steal points at Etihad Stadium so they can maintain the fourth position of the standings, although they are still outnumbered play.

It looks like this year is the first time Pep without a trophy, this proves that there is nothing special from pep.. He's just inherited a team that was already great, barcelona already excellent when frank rijkard left and Bayern is already great when Jupp Heynckes's retirement.

Actually if Man City wants to be a dominant force in the EPL and the rest of Europe he has to bring in the best players. The City squad right now isn't good enough obviously. And for what Pep wants to do and to happen, he needs quality players. Player acquisitions can be done in multiple transfer windows. And with the EPL having the most demanding schedule compared to the other leagues, a good EPL team should have a squad deep enough in order to endure the said demanding schedule and also to have a good rotation of players.

Expectations are too high, previously the Citizen was able to UCL semi final, but this year??? More than 150 million does not mean because this season City will be out of top 4 and in next year play in European zone, not UCL.. shame with Leicester pep...

Leicester is the worst team this season they are struggling to remain in premiership so it wont just be money in this.

The Manchester City team were not playing this badly when Pep arrived, His style is so rigid and he is so arrogant that he refuses to change it to benefit the team. He will continue to buy players with no good results unless he tweaks his style of playing. Even Barca are playing less of the tiki taka. Pep must adapt or be left behind.

Yes, I also felt changes Manchester City game when Pep arrived. Pep is very ambitious to make Manchester City playing like Barcelona or Bayern Munich, he sometimes puts the same formation. Buying a player I think is not the right choice for Pep, except the goalkeeper because Manchester City do not have a goalkeeper who had a good performance. Pep just have to adjust to the Premier League, especially Manchester City.

I still think they can achieve this as Man City is a better team then Arsenal and Liverpool this season and should be able to hold them out and finish either 3rd or 4th. The danger in my opinion is Man Utd who have been in great form as of late and it may well come down to the Manchester Derby to see who finishes in the top 4, now that would be some sort of game to watch.

Let him repeat this same abysmal performance next season and then you can criticize him but leave him at least for now.
