AMS needs more publicity. This coin has more to offer than lots of other popular coins.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I've installed the new AMS wallet (version 4.1.0.0, Linux 64 bits).
When I use my old wallet.dat (from my previous AMS wallet), I've this warning message
Quote
Warning: error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly, but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect.
Is that because the prévious swap ?
How can I swap my AMS ?
Thanks.

I am sorry to say that your coins are lost.
All AMS have been swapped with a 3 month countdown till the 11th of November 2017.
you can check it here: https://www.amsterdamcoin.com/#swap

I have myself lost more then 100K AMS with a masternode computer i could not recover, so i know your pain!

Good luck...

I am very surprised...
if there is no recovery procedure, it is not a swap, but a theft.
And whatever the delay, it does not change anything.
So what is this recovery procedure ?
My AMS date from the ICO and there were so many problems with the wallet (synchronization) that I was not completely surprised when the PoS stopping.

AMS will soon receive zerocoin implementation.
Dev said he is heading to do it.
Zerocoin integration provides anonymity to AMS.
Anonymity gives value to a coin like PIVX, Monero, Zcoin, DASH ...
AMS will gain value soon and these undervalued prices will vanish.
This is buying time.

Peace !

When will hapen? Every day is late for these coin.

No news from dev for AMS swapping.
No procedure to swap Coins is a thief : delay or not.
You cannot destroy money like that.
Not happy at all.
Such coin will never find success : cryptocurrencies investors have memory.

AMS deposit output does not work in YoBit.net. AmsterdamCoin.

I send from the exchange to the local wallet AcBnnPkGuCrHMTPZyp2rYuPNbJHhEp1qEY
On the other stock exchange everything is fine.
On the first three transactions came normal and the last two did not reach.

CONCLUSION AMS Wallet Status: Online (110180 blocks) this incorrect value does not match the purse.

The transaction fee (AMS) of 0.00200000 is very small which can be a problem in this.

Tickets do not answer anything.

I have 2 MN coins and I can not withdraw them.

The developer tell me what you can do in this situation.

Yobit has not done anything to maintain their wallet for months. They have been contacted many time by both developer and miners/holders etc... they just don't care to provide any support or customer service for small coins. Yobit does the same thing for most of the smaller coins that are listed there... not just for Amsterdam. Basically they are a terrible exchange with a bad reputation and I would never do any  business with them. Sad

I have many masternodes and they are working fine. No chain split.
The explorer doesn't work.

Hello I am MNP_Mike from https://MasterNodes.pro. AmsterdamCoin has been in maintenance since the 22nd of february. There was a ticket created on February 21st trying to get in contact with an AmsterdamCoin team member about some questions we have with inaccurate reporting  https://masternodespro.freshdesk.com/a/tickets/55. We have not had a reply as of today.  If a team member from AmsterdamCoin can please visit https://masternodespro.freshdesk.com/support/home  and help us get your coin out of Maintenance and back on to our statistics page. We would like to help your coin get the most out of the listing fee that was paid and help your coin get some attention from the statistics we provide. Also if there are any other social media platforms please don't hesitate to include them in the ticket so we can add this to our wiki to help with your coin.

Current block on my wallets show over 289700.

If you are using the latest wallet version,
Go to your ams directory and delete everything except:

wallet.dat
masternode.conf
amsterdamcoin.conf

restart your wallet and wait for new blocks and chainstate.
Good luck

By the way, Its time to grab some cheap AMS now.
We can not see these prices when Zero coin protocol is implemented.
The price is so undervalued ...

The whole crypto marked is down and so is AMS.
I just got myself 3 new masternodes very cheap on
https://www.coinexchange.io/market/AMS/BTC

I dont know why people sell so cheaply but its good for new investors.
