Private keys are not cross-chain compatible, if that's what you are asking.
So no more Ethereum smart contracts and all prior contracts are gone? I hope these devs know what they are doing! |

This is not a quick fix, it's a step forward. On top of all the benefits, the move away from Golang gives us much greater choice and availability for new / additional developers. |

The new codebase offers all the functionality we need to rebuild Phantom and more. This is not a quick fix, it's a step forward.
On top of all the benefits, the move away from Golang gives us much greater choice and availability for new / additional developers.
+1 JS as the only language? If so, great choice. |

Thanks for all the hard work devs! And good tip for getting the wallets synced, I was having issues for a few days but got all synced up in a few hours after putting that JSON file in there. Now just need to transfer all the shift I've been hoarding  A question on mining; is there an official POW mining end date? And what should we do with the coins we are currently mining? I switched over to mining straight to Bittrex, but will the auto swap keep going up until POW officially ends? +1 for the above question |

+1 for the above question "Official" end of deposits for the swap is scheduled to be on Friday with the exact block number announced as we get closer. We will keep an eye on the situation and communicate closely with Bittrex. The final block for POW will be shortly after and will be announced as we get closer to the end of the swap. We are taking snapshots of the chain at regular intervals and are prepared to manually swap any leftover balances for a limited period, given they are of decent size. We appreciate anyone's efforts to keep the chain moving and those last blocks confirming. Several users on Slack have already pledged some hash and we're sure to work out a fair compensation even after Bittrex has closed the wallets. If you are interested in participating, please join us on Slack and get in touch. Your efforts will not be lost. |

You need to send your coins ASAP to Bittrex, you have until friday to handle this with Bittrex, after that you will need the help of Shift Team to process your request manually. You can ask everything you need. EDIT: If you have your coins on Bittrex (or Livecoin) you don't need to do anything, Bittrex will do the swap for us automaticly. |

He he, we know exactly what we are doing, and if you read about this, you would know that Lisk supports smart contracts too. Actually, the only thing i regret is that we didnt switched to Lisk sooner. Now the work on decentralized web page network, PHANTOM, can continue. Have a good day. |

If you need to sync your wallet and are stuck, here is what you can do to add peers automatically at launch: (this explaination is for Windows, but is similar on other OSes as long as you change paths and filenames accordingly) 1. Use Windows key+R to open the Run window. 2. In the Run window, type %appdata%\ gshift to open the Shift data folder. 3. Right inside this folder, create a file called static-nodes.json 4. Open this file in your text editor. 5.
