It will depend on how plausible his explanation is, but normally the anti-doping agencies are showing no mercy in those cases whatsoever and he can expect to be banned for years. But doesn't that mean he can still play for clubs in a different association like in Saudi Arabia? I guess it wouldn't hurt him that much if the consequence is that he is now forced to earn 30 million per year playing for a club in the Saudi Professional League. Unless I am missing something here and any ban imposed by the UEFA/FIFA? is valid globally or something, but I don't believe so.

But I think the positive doping test result that has now caught Pogba could be that he did not intentionally use doping himself. Because I think it's impossible for a pro player like Pogba to wear it on purpose. Because if he deliberately uses it then of course when he is asked to take a test he will definitely refuse for various reasons. But what happened in this case was that he wanted to be retested. And in the first test, he said, he was tested with full confidence. And I think that's a sign that he didn't intentionally doping. I don't blame him for his actions though Pogba was undergoing a serious challenge he had some injury that seemed like a treat to his football career and needed to recover faster, well according to a news i came across when the whole saga started, he made a statement that the didn't do it on purpose and wasn't aware that the food suppliments he was adviced by a doctor to take so as to enhance his recovery process contained some substances that made him fail the test.

 It too bad considering how good he is when in a good form, this is a big lose to both club and player, cause he still has a lot of potential and would had helped Juventus succeed this season based on his good passing ability, well thank goodness he'll still be able to continue playing else where probably in the Saudi Pro League like you mentioned.

If it is intentional then he could be sanctioned and not allowed to play football for 4 years. If he tests positive for doping due to accidental use, he will only be sanctioned for 2 years. But indeed the punishment that he gets regardless of whether it is long or short will definitely have a big impact on his professional career I think.
With him being punished in the end this will be a condition where Pogba also indirectly loses his contract at Juventus and I have never seen an athlete's career return after getting into trouble of this magnitude.

It's not even a sad news for me to say that. It's caused by pogba was injury prone and it has been more than one season he was absent from playing in the main squad of juventus. Juventus lost nothing if the club will be terminating his contract.

Using dopping is being prohibited no matter what the reason is. Pogba deserves to get sanctions. It's caused by the fair play is the main vision of football.

After I read from several sources the news about how many years he will be banned from football some say only one year and some say several years but from my own assessment it looks like UEFA will ban him for several years because the use of doping is so deviant from football that it looks like it will be a very long time for him gets the ban and if he can still appear but in other leagues such as Saudi Arabia, the question is whether any club from Saudi Arabia wants to sign a player who has previously used doping or drugs?
I still imagine that because the majority of Saudi Arabia is Muslim and drugs are prohibited or haram and it seems that Saudi Arabia doesn't want to take this risk.
