Napoli have reportedly started offering a deal to Antonio Conte, who is predicted to be Rudi Garcia's replacement. But it seems that the negotiation process is not going very smoothly because Antonio Conte is still waiting for new opportunities from other clubs. I think that if a team like Napoli has started to express interest in recruiting him, Antonio Conte should be able to decide immediately because Napoli also doesn't have much time to wait for his unclear decision.

Only Conte is currently linked with Napoli. Because Napoli management contacted Conte to persuade him to accept the offer to coach Napoli this season. Conte is certainly not a new coach in Serie A because he is quite experienced with the Serie A atmosphere because he has coached many Serie A teams in previous years.

I would guess that the player changes had something to do with it as well. Kim Min-Jae was the core of their defense and him leaving definitely put a dent there, and while they made some transfers, they didn't get anyone that good for their defense, I do not know whose idea it was to sell a player at defense and not use that money to get a defensive player, but the only player they got at defense was Nathan, which talks about it himself.

So all in all, while coaching change definitely played a big role, I think losing a good defender and not replacing him made the team get goals a lot easier and they concede a lot quicker. This should be the most important thing and definitely not an easy to thing to handle for a club that wants to be champions. It's a fun league though, you get to see plenty of different teams go for the title, back in the day it was purely just Juventus, nowadays it's not like that anymore and this made it more fun, at least we could say their games are not boring.

Though Rudi Garcia has been unable to replicate the same feat his predecessor achieved last season, I think it'll be too early to show him the exit door from the being Napoli's manager. The French professional football manager took over the managerial role at Napoli after the club's former manager Luciano Spalletti left the club few days after winning the Italian Serie A title for the club. Rudi Garcia I think isn't a terrible manager and deserves to be given more time at the club to prove himself.
