It's really sad to see a huge crisis again in Italy, due to the Attack of Covic19, Italy has got another negative impact on its country in every aspect, in 2007/08 economic recession Italy and other European countries saw a devastating situation in their history but during the last 10 years, Italy has managed very nicely and again they have got a negative thing, Not only the financial sector but also in the Football, So I wish Italy will recover very soon of this crisis and Italian Football will get another boom after this effect I hope, I believe all the Italian Club will be able to hold their respected players for more years what they want.

Only 12 games... Those games are only for the Serie A right? Should we consider all other games that need to be played in European contests or the Italian Cup? 6 weeks playing games every 3 days is very tiring for the players.
They are also talking about increasing the number of changes for those games up to 5. Ideally, a team In Champions Coppa Italia and Seria A needs to play... Champions 1+2+2+1 CI 1+1 Seria A 12 for a total of 20 games.

The pandemic in Italy is quite severe so if it really happens that the match will continue in June then there will be no spectators until the end of the season because to anticipate being infected with the other possible to the players also in safeguards and sterile will be even tighter for prevention.
But still broadcasting on TV must remain broadcast so that me do not get bored to see the league playing again.
The past week they talked about no supporters at the stadium till January or till a vaccine for the population. We have at least 2 pharma talking about a vaccine ready and tested for Sep-Octber. A long time Sep-Octo if it really is the vaccine will be tested because the discussion is still not certain because scientists and intelligence still think that the outbreak is due to a conspiracy from between countries so I'm still not sure if the vaccine will be found. Well, although I hope that what you say is true, we have to wait for what they are talking about, it doesn't matter, long, the most important, Covid-19 is disappearing from the face of the earth.

Yeah I expect teams will resume training on 4 May, and around 25 May we may see the first game after the lockdown. 2 games per team the first week are reasonable imo. Good news

Good news Imo is still risky, what happen if anyone of the 1000 people in Seria A will take the Virus? Do they will stop again? A second stop will be even worse than the 1st. The more logical thing to me is to complete the season in July and start the new one with 2 months delay.

Especially if you look at how Italy are in the red zone where the virus spread rapidly . Serie A more likely to get cancelled this season with the current situation unfortunately. Not even sure the next season would run as usual , too early to talk about this though. Some serie A clubs wants the league get cancelled tho for various reasons.

I thought the same 2 weeks ago but now everyone wants to continue somehow, too much money is on the table. They did a "virtual" meeting yesterday and from 8 teams who do not want to continue the season now, we have 20/20 teams who want to play. It seems now the only question is when they will resume, football is a big thing in Italy currently according to media is the 3rd job sector where money goes.

Who don't want to resume the Serie A, not only for this season but also for the next one and for jobs. Thank you for the news on the final intention of the whole 20/20 teams in Serie A. Now, they and we have to wait for a green light from government first, then FIGC to resume the league. Football plays its important role in the national culture in Italy so it is good to know the probability to see the match resume become higher after the virtual meeting between 20 teams in Serie A.

I also believe that the Italian football league will not return this year. The championship should be postponed to 2021. I'm missing the games and the betting. I've never seen that in my life.

I believe it will resume if the spread continue to be stable like that/controlled. If Italians will find many new infections site with new cases +1k then i could say goodbye to football this year, which is unlikely to happen..

It would be very difficult to say that because the red zone in Italy is quite para where they are now the death of the highest covid-19 so the reason is quite reasonable because the cancellation of Serie A is quite secure for the club and its players. Because this is indeed felt maybe this will be history where football matches around the world are stopped due to the corona outbreak that continues to hit the world. This history will be recorded in my life.

We have a statement from Lazio's president that it helps to understand football will start in Italy.
He said "Italian football pays 1.2 Billion to the Italian state in taxes"
For a better understanding 1.200.000.000.000 € this much.
This is why football will start.

This is a huge money on the table so why top leagues in the Europe should be resumed. We don't actually need matches will be played in opened stadiums as before the pandemic. Having matches, and leagues resumed and finished are good enough. I don't know that FIGC has not yet had further discussions on how the league will be run when it resumes, centralized matches in Rome or Italy-wide stadiums.

Right now we have many rumours from different ways but one thing is sure Government and Serie A Authorities both want to complete this season waiting for some good news about this Corona which is taking some good time.

ForbesI have seen this news about Serie A continuing their season for 2020/2019 and I think it was highly likely to happen but when I read this news it seems like still a lot of Italian teams are having some issues when it comes to the medical procols issued by Serie A is still not enough for majority of the teams part of the league. The news didn't really dive down to the issue or what parts are concerning the teams but I'm sure it is part about the safety of their players and how they can guarantee them that they won't be infected somehow during or while going in and out of the stadium. I know that they still have a lot of time left but they need to fix this quick in order for all the teams to have an agreement.

ForbesEnd of May will be a good schedule for Italian Serie A. The county suffered a lot from COVID-19 and they should be very careful to protect both the fans and the players. Better to start it 15 days later than risk all the public health for just 15 days difference.
