Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)

Tempting to bet against Juventues tonight but Penaldo always keeps me at bay. I know they've got to lose one more time this season, but it will likely be against Lazio or Atalanta.

Juventus aren't playing tonight, they already played and won 3-1 against Genoa yesterday, they play next against Torino on Saturday. I'd think if they will lose again this season it would prolly not be against a top team like Lazio (2nd) or Atalanta(4th) and Juve are at home against the both of'em. You can try your luck when they play Milan, Sassulo or Udinesse away from home, between now and the end of the season to see if they'll drop some points. Just my two cents .

Jesus what a brain fart but you're right. They were actually IN MY PARLAY last night, and I saw the result, what the hell, brain? Why did I think they were playing tonight hmm. But yeah, I think they WILL lose to one of those two, but if what you're saying is true then great. I miss winning more than 10/1 since before lockdown.

I can't believe Serie A got lockdown so much earlier than other leagues but to be honest they had one of the worst situations with it as well whereas bundesliga came back quicker than anyone because their situation wasn't that bad. Juventus is 100% champions, there is no way they would lose that much points while Lazio gaining it, Ik now plenty of points left but honestly its not that good looking for Lazio ahead, they are not good enough to cover that difference at all.

But, the fact that they will be going to champions league easily and having a lot more money next year while also playing on Europe highest stage and get more recognition and get more players, they could make this into an habit and try next year and maybe get lucky much better next season and become champions.

^^ There are some tough fixtures of Juventus in July since they have to both play Atalanta and Lazio, they also have a fixture with Ac milan but wouldn't consider a much threat as compared to two. Lazio dropped some points leading to a good amount of gap between the two but have to admit that it was quite expected in Atalanta game and same is with Inter who also dropped points with draw against Sassuolo.

Atalanta have also 1 game in the last round with Inter and there isn't much difference. Agree about Ilicic being the impact player throughout the season for Atalanta.

It seems that lockdown affected mostly Inter.
They were just 3 points ahead and now the table shows that they lost a lot of points and now they are out of competing the title.

Atlanta vs Napoli will be a good match to watch,  Atlanta being a high scoring team, currently has the highest goals difference in Seria A, and Napoli also having some great strikers upfront, lots of goals is expected from this match, I think over 2.5 goals will be a good option rather than going for Atlanta to win

I was very hopeful that AC Milan would win that game and so I bet AC Milan would win. But I was surprised by this defeat, if it was the good times when Milan were a great team

I made a great choice when betting on Sampdoria

Atalanta has a good form in the whole season and lately matches but Napoli has their motivation to fight for and win it. I tend to think of a draw for the clash between Atalanta and Napoli.

AS Roma - Udinese Calcio

I bet AS Roma will win that game

Roma must win the match. If not and if Atalanta win Napoli, Roma will have to say goodbye to Champions League for the 2 continuous seasons. They have a home stadium but now with the closed-doors stadium, it does not make much sense but I hope that the sense of space at home will give them more strength to manage a win.

Milan is a team that is currently very inconsistent, so it is not surprising that when faced with a small team like Spal, Milan cannot win the match, even in this draw results, I think it's good for them. This happens very often when they can win against big teams, but they are very difficult when faced with small teams. I do not know when Milan will end this period, because as a supporter of Milan, I already miss the AC Milan performance better.

For today's game Roma vs Udinese I would bet that Roma will win with at least 2 goals difference.

I think that these games are of no interest now that Juventus is already the Champion and I say so even knowing that there are many games left to play because this has been the case in all these last years.While many teams try to offer some competition to Juventus they fail to do so for the whole season.

For today games I think that Roma is a strong team compared to Udinese which should be an easy win and for the other game I choose Napoli to win.

I think over 2.5 goals will be a good option rather than going for Atlanta to win

I saw the the O2.5 odds and it was too low (@1.46), around same odds in BTTS, so i ended up adding Atalanta WIN to a 3 fold. I also added Roma to WIN,



i thought 'Atalanta to win' was a good pick yesterday, but now i'm not sure. Udinese desperately need points to get out of the relegation zone, and Roma is known for having a weak defence, so maybe BTTS would've been better? idk :/

I am looking forward to today's Atalanta-Napoli match. Both teams have been in great form lately. Napoli seems to have already dealt with the troubles that have tormented them for most of the season. Atalanta plays effective and spectacular football all season. I hope that there will be many goals today and I bet +3.5 goals for @2.11

i think that Roma is good bet tonight, and quote is just fine @1.72, since Udinese is close to relegation zone, and Roma is fighting for Europe, could secure their spot with this win, especially since their rival Napoli is playing with Atalanta, that has all wins since restart

Let Juventus be the champion again because it can be said that his greatness throughout the season in Serie A looks very good so he deserves to be a champion.

Atalanta vs Napoli I know Napoli are stronger than Atalanta but look at the match before Lazio were able to be beaten by Atalanta so I think it will be difficult for Napoli to win.

You have to realize that breaks are not something common in football before competitive games, even before leagues start they call up all the players and train hard and then have bunch of friendlies before they start competitive games, plus when you do start its early season and you can cover the difference, you may be very bad in first 5 games but still get better and recover from it.

This break was uncanny, never happened before, teams actually didn't played a single game, didn't train properly and they all ended up starting back up very quickly while also playing the last games of the season as well which were crucial games. I feel like this championship is the least deserving championship Juventus will get, they did used the break to their advantage a lot and it is going to leave a bad taste in the mouths.

 Juventus is going for their 9th straight championship, that can't never be just luck or unimportant, they are really dominating the league like I have never seen before from a major european league like that. Acquiring Cristiano Ronaldo was even seen like a short term thing and not a good idea to spend that much money on by a lot of people because he is getting to later stages of his career yet dude has been the best player of Juventus for 2 years now, and brought them to a whole new level, I am sure he has at least another 2-3 years in him at a high level and possibly 5 more year as a contributor, so those pundits who think spending so much on him was wrong... was wrong.

 With right transfers like Arthur they are going to keep being awesome and they are going to keep winning titles, their opponents needs to make right transfer moves and right head coaching decisions in order to break this cycle, and it is not easy when you are facing an already amazing team every year and going to that level, its definitely a big challenge.

Call me crazy but Atalanta can win the Champions in a final 8 for the Champions.
With 2 games for the turn, they got fewer chances but now they will play their cards for winning the Jackpot.

It will be hard for them to lose a single game till the end of the season in Serie A.

Roma lost at home after Udinese conquered it 2-0 well indeed Rome got a red card from the midfielder so that this pressure for Rome to survive and it was not able to do Udinese better utilize it well.

I told you Atalanta will have a better start after conquering 2 of the big Serie A Lazio teams and last night Napoli was amazing that Atalanta was able to give his best performance in the match last night.

Oh, sorry mate for the loss on Roma, a very slight mistake happenrd on Perotti D as he received a heavy red card at 29 minutes of play. This incidence brought down Roma as they couldn't wake up to secure at least a 1 goal over the dummy side of Udinese as the game ended 2 nil against Roma. Sorry for the loss Buddy.
