Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)

Do you guys know how many teams go to champions league from serie A? I know premier league has 4 but I am not sure about Italy, if they are 4 as well that means they are going to champions league already and first four teams are already decided without a doubt.

It is sad that Napoli finishing such a bad place, they were such a great team in champions league this year, I would have expected them to do a lot better at the league as well and even during the break I had high hopes about them doing much better after the break and when they came back and stayed at out of high levels I was a bit upset. At least Milan looks to be doing a bit better, they do have a potential in the end, they were doing very bad in the last years both financially and in management but this year they showed some promise.

it is four teams from Serie A as well, and that fight is already over, Lazio, Inter, Atalanta and champ Juventus

regarding matches today, i am thinking about Inter, and Napoli does not sound so good, both teams do not play well after restart, and Sassoulo could have a good day, so will skip this one

there are 4 Italian teams that will enter the Champions League next year and are now defined, nothing changes if Atalanta or Inter or Lazio arrive 2' or 4' in the championship, access is direct. 3 instead are the teams that will go to the Europa League, and also here are already defined, Rome Milan and Naples (who won the Italian Cup) but it is still to be decided between Milan and Rome who will enter directly and who will make the preliminaries

anyway, BTTS for Napoli - Sassuolo at 1.61 odds looks good, this pick was correct in every match post-virus for Sassuolo and in 7/9 games for Napoli. Great opportunity for Napoli to get closer to 6th and 5th place.

Juventus has become shadow of former self in their last few games, their form has been dipped even coach sarri had admitted that the team is physically and mentally tired.

I must confess Atalanta recent resurgence and pick in form amazes me, had it been the have more matches to go they will have given Juventus a run of their money in winning the league although they still keep title hope alive  PSG should watch out when they meet Atalanta in CL, they (PSG) wouldn't have an easy win now that mbappe is injured the tie is a 50:50 if Atalanta continue with that outstanding performance.

Eitherway, I'm more concerned about Genoa vs Inter Milan, All top 4 teams in the Serie A have been decided and no one from them can fall below fourth position so it's just about who finishes in a higher position, meanwhile Genoa are still relegation threatened and they should be more hungry about this game, 3 wins from last 4 matches isn't something that should be overlooked as well. I'm more inclined towards BTTS or Over 2.5 goals for this fixture.

It is almost mission impossible for any team to take the first place from Juventus this season. Lazio was way closer and failed.. Inter is nowhere close and Atalanta although the good rise but it is also far!
Before few rounds from the end, almost important spots are fixed!

and i'm with you on the Genoa - Inter. Teams fighting for survival could give you unexpected results. Also, BTTS was ✔ in 7/10 games for Internazionale and 7/9 games for Genoa, almost the same record for Over 2.5...perhaps i shoul've added this game to a multi :/

The opponents faced by AS Roma have the most troublesome maybe just Juventus. On paper with 35 current games or a smaller number than AC Milan matches, with 61 points it is still possible for Roma to be with Napoli automatically qualifying for the UEFA League. And for AC Milan he must play in Preliminary round first. However, what I predict is only limited to the potential strength of AS Roma compared to the opponents they will face. For Milan, if they can play consistence, with their performance, and yes AC Milan may take AS Roma positions. And yes, still to be decided as your post, maybe we need to see till end of week to know the winner of 5 and 6 positions like what happen in relegation zone for EPL.

I agree with the bet for Inter but I find risky the bet for Sassuolo.
Sassuolo has an amazing season and a decent performance in the league however the game against Napoli is a derby and I believe both teams are going to play strong defense in order not to concede a goal.

So far so good for me, games are almost all over so I did some really, really long parlays that included Parma and Inter, and now about 5 mins left on the latter, finally a game they're not letting me down on. Got to say, the league this season has been rather nice as an outsider watching. Normally I follow just the few teams but even these post lockdown matches have been good quality. Napoli, staying away from them. Now I can go to bed waiting for tomorrow.

Well, lazio will play verona and I think I can bet on that game very easily, that will be an easy pick for me, Juventus versus sampdoria would be easy pick as well. I do not think there is any more "easy" picks for the games, sure there are some that you can pick if you want to risk it, but I wouldn't really feel comfortable about them.

For example, you could pick Roma versus fiorentina, roma is a great team and could beat Fiorentina very easily if they play like they always do, but fiorentina is not a bad team neither, they are definitely a great team too. I am not entirely sure if I trust that game. Or torino will play spal and they are basically the very bottom team that 9/35 not losses (wins and draws) so I would assume that should be pickable as well but not really easy pick neither.

Some of you are praying Atalanta to much in my opinion as they only had this season like this one and they cannot keep this run for UCL where they really could have used it all this boost they had. When UCL comes in 2 weeks I will bet against them without any doubts and to be honest Lyon has a great chance against Juventus aswell.

would not agree, Atalanta was in top four teams last season, they will be in top four teams this season, so i would not call them "one season miracle", although do not expect from them to win CL, do not expect to see them back home after first match played, it is an interesting team, and motivation and inspiration, combined with "heart on the pitch" gives them fair chance against any team

I am expecting lot from Atalanta in the remaining Champions League
PSG will fall, than we will see how they will continue their journey

Kulusevski, already bought from Juve did another amazing performance today with a wonderful goal, I think he is at 9 goals and 9 assist in his 1st Serie A season at 20 years old.

The match will be on the history books of football  .
Sassuolo deserves more and looks at Locatelli, there is a reason on why top teams want him, he has a clause of 30 milions.

TBH Napoli doesn't care about the game, they are already in UEFA Europe League because they won the Coppa Italia and they can't get more.
