I think after yesterday's match with Chelsea, Juventus' prospects are more or less clear and they clearly do not relate to the championship. Despite the fact that Chelsea is in first place in the EPL, it cannot be said that this team is head and shoulders above the rest, but at the same time it totally destroyed Juventus yesterday.

The match against chelsea was a pretty bad match for juventus, and in my opinion juventus was very lucky to concede only 4 goals if you saw chelsea performance which was quite spectacular in that match, I think the two teams do have quite different squad depths and obviously chelsea is very superior in all their lines compared to Juventus, but even so, I think Juventus now have to get back up and improve their performance ahead of the game which is also considered a big match against atlanta on Sunday.

Despite yesterday's ridiculous draw with a clear outsider, Atalanta, in my opinion, will be at least on an equal footing in this match. Bookmakers traditionally rate Juventus as a favorite:

But it seems to me that this does not correspond to the real capabilities of the teams - Atalanta clearly has better statistics, they score a lot of goals and they have only two defeats (Juventus has 4), so at least they will play a draw.

their performance for now is very clear, as for the depth of the squad I don't want to judge in that regard because in fact Juventus also have a pretty good squad but indeed their performance for this season is very bad, especially for their attack and defense lines.

They are presently at the 8th position on the Serie A standings. While they probably had their first lost match in the champion League yesterday against Chelsea. However, their next match which is against Atalanta will  a tough one and with the current performance of Juventus, they will find it difficult winning in the game. Moreover, it they continue like this, they won't even be able to end this season at the 5th position.

Yes, if Juventus wants to claim something serious this season, then the team urgently needs to add stability to the results, because quite a lot was lost at the start of the championship. You are right. Juventus is in such form now, Winning against Atlanta is challenging for them. Atlanta is not a weak team. I would say Juventus and Atlanta are almost equally strong teams this season. This match is important for both teams. If Juventus wants to win in the top 4 of the points table, then they have to win. Otherwise, Atalanta's position on the table will be stronger.

Ibra and Giroud are old strikers and they are getting more and more injuries so AC Milan can not rely on them especially they are competing for Scudetto. However, I don't think buying new striker in Winter transfer market is good idea. Usually transfers in the winter are more risky than in the Summer because new players have less time to train and adapt to a new club. They have more risk of failed in a new club and contributes very little in the second half of season.

Napoli which currently has several player targets  in January, the Scudetto competition will certainly be fierce and both teams must increase their strength in January, because of course they will face a with bussy schedule and rotation of players is needed to be able to maintain the balance of the team until the end of the season.

Napoli can face with the exhaustion from their players after Christmas. They played too seriously so far and if they don't have solid plan to distribute their energy, resources for the whole season, they will get troubles and might lose the first position. Napoli don't have good transfer budget and I don't think they will allocate big budget for the coming transfer season.

Of course, Milan and Napoli must add more fresh players to keep their consistency for scudetto. and I agree with you regarding AC Milan at the moment who only rely on Ibra and Giroud as their main strikers. I don't know who will be weak but for sure Juventus' play in the Champions league is bad and unable to reply to a single goal against chelsea, while Atalanta's game in the Italian league is quite good and has not lost for the last 5 matches, so Juve only benefit at home while the game is not necessarily going to get better.
But the competition in Serie A is also quite tight between Napoli vs Lazio so they want to both get points from their respective matches.

Playing at home, of course, gives an advantage, but not as great (as we can see from the bookmaker's quotes). Atalanta lost only twice in the championship and scored 10 goals more than Juventus, I think in this match it will be a real favorite. Juventus looks very bad in attack despite the fact that Morata and Dybala are back in line, so I would not risk betting that both teams will score a goal.
