Although I'm not a fan of AC Milan, I really wanted AC Milan to win this match. Napoli won the match, increasing Inter Milan's points gap from the second team in the points table. Inter Milan are 4 points ahead of Napoli and AC Milan. If AC Milan had won the match, there would have been only 1 point difference between Inter Milan and AC Milan. However, if AC Milan wants to go further in the title race, they will have to win against Inter in February.

Inter still have a schedule with Lazio and Atalanta. Indeed for Lazio, the chance to win is not so good. but, this match is also important for Lazio to catch up to the UEL zone. Then, Inter will face Atalanta, who is also not an opponent they can underestimate, maybe they can beat Inter even with only 1 - 0.

Napoli only has 1 big match schedule against Juventus, except they will face inter in mid february

Milan meets Roma and Juventus.

And I think the match against Inter is still difficult for Milan to reduce the points gap, but Napoli have better opportunity to do it than Milan.

At least Inter Milan are still the champions in Serie A and they are protecting their championship. We should not under estimate Inter Milan but honestly I did not expect them to have such impressive performance after losing Conte, Lukaku and Hachimi. They are doing good jobs to fix all issues and solidly take over the first position from Napoli.

I think Inter Milan have very good chance in this season. Napoli looks to fall into a serious crisis that relates not only to their form but also to their player resource with too many injuries.

AC Milan can be a best competitor to challenge Inter Milan till the end. Let see how AC Milan can do it and what Milan team will take the Scudetto.

Atlanta is also doing very good in last few matches which is going to be tough for both joint teams on second place because Atlanta style is very attacking which is good for them and having some more points against top level teams.

Atalanta have to protect their position in top 4 and Scudetto is too far from what Atalanta can reach to.

Man this thing of closing bets before it ends is something much more risky, I've already happened to close bets before the game ends and then I see that the team I bet on is winning by many goals and I regret the choice I made, so only in the last cases I close bet before the game ends

I would say that the main danger of such profit-taking (small compared to the profit that will be obtained if the required result holds until the very end) is not in the risk, but in the loss of profit. Everyone was eagerly waiting for match between Milan and Napoli. Elmas was on fire and scored the winning goal at the very beginning of the match. Milan  yes had too many chances to shoot goals, Missed the target number of times and even Napoli goal keeper saved a goal. Milan did score a good goal but it was denied. Both teams are equally strong in points on the table. Atalanta is just near to Napoli and can move over defeating Napoli if Napoli does not keep up their good performance.

As far as I know in week 20 Milan vs Roma and Juventus vs Napoli so in one of these matches we will have to be forced to lose points later, Roma came back yesterday to win against Atalanta and Milan must be ready to face the consequences later.

It was a narrow victory for Napoli and the gave went on as expected. Both teams have the same points and in their game between each other both teams went for the win. But luck wasn't much on Milan as their chances went void conceding a single goal to Napoli. There is no much difference between the two teams it's only future matches that would decide who deserves the Second place on the league table

After watching this schedule look like we are going to have some ups and downs in League table for remaining matches Inter is very strong but Lazio and Atlanta both are very strong opponents which ability to give them shocking defeats which can bring some more excitement with Napoli is having some better schedule and after watching yesterday match it seems they are still very dangerous side with very good attacking options.

AC Milan is also having some tough matches and Juventus is still fighting hard for having something good for remaining season and their better chances for achieving top rank. In current situation, Italian League is still wide open for all strong contenders with good chances around them.

I think this season will be very exciting. The points difference between the teams is less. More importantly, the teams are playing well, and all four teams are hoping to win the title. Now the team that can maintain the continuity of their performance will win the title. Inter Milan may be a little ahead. Their performance is better than other teams. They have lost only 1 match.

It's getting heated .. ac milan conceded too early , if only that goal didnt come , im pretty sure both will shared a point rather than that 1 nil.
i know it feels not right to lose that 1 goal difference for ac milan fans , they deserved a point at least so the title race between the two inter and ac milan might be interesting to see , but well yeah it gave inter milan a breath with these 4 points gap in case they losing the 3 points later in the derby.

4 points is not very significant can still be chased it means it only takes 1 win and 1 draw with a note Inter must lose in 2 matches
But indeed the defeat of Milan yesterday was very unfortunate I don't see any flaw in them maybe just luck is on Napoli's side.

The goal in the 5th minute by Elmas fueled the enthusiasm of the Napoli players to play to the maximum and it was proven that they were able to maintain the score 1-0 until match end and won

but the competition between Napoli and Milan to fight for position 2 is not easy, the next match both are forced to win, I am waiting for a good game from Napoli

Genoa are in the worst phase of only collecting one win I'm worried that I won't see Genoa in Serie A next season so far they are not motivated just live the rest of the match.

I hoped to see Milan not losing against Napoli but they had big problems on this game. Napoli found a goal in the early minutes of the game. And they had the first half under control also. Things started changing in the second half and Milan started increasing their dangerous attacks. But they were still very clumsy as for scoring. In the 90th minute, they finally made it but this time they were blocked by an offside call. It was a controversial decision by the way but here we are. Napoli got a very important 1-0 win in this tough game.
