Empoli have just one loss from their last five games and three draws... And Sampdoria have lost their last two games, although not to weak opponents... But Sampdoria failed to score in these games against Fiorentina and Napoli... Bookmakers are giving good odds for Empoli to win, but I think the teams have equal chances...

Recently empoli team has only lost to top teams in the table they are a tough opponent and allways cause trouble to teams, in the last game they made an impressive comeback against lazio after being behind 2 0 and managed a draw i don't think they have equal chances, i think the odds are quite high for empoli win but sampdoria might surprise us today who knows but they must be in top shape to do that.

Both clubs have almost equal strength. Sampdoria also did a comeback against Lazio in their fourth match this season and also drew with Juventus in their second match when Juventus key players haven't gone on injury. Sampdoria might come with big surprise even as the visit Empoli in their home.

I don't find this season's Milan very much competitive unfortunately. I'm aware that the work Napoli are doing now is much more extra compared to the recent seasons. But still Milan are the last champion team in the league. They should have been more competitive with the same system and a good quality of squad.

But these days I see that their defense is having some problems. We saw a clear example of it in their Lecce match. Lecce's getting 2-0 ahead was way unexpected. If it weren't for Milan's big strength in scoring they would have even lost there. I'm curious if Pioli is thinking of a solution for their defending style. Or it will be too late for them when Napoli increase the gap to double digits.

At the moment Milan has done a very good job they are in second place in Serie A with a difference of 1 point below it, but when compared to Napoli it is clear now that the quality is different, it's just that Milan is also still above the competition from 18 matches 2x losing is still quite reasonable and there are 5 more draws so there is still hope for Milan to continue to chase the dream of the Serie A trophy.

Atalanta is very deadly. I feel so sorry for Guillermo Ochoa, great goalkeeper but the wrong team at the wrong time. Ochoa did his best but he was unlucky, even though he is a very good goalkeeper. How unfair Ochoa. The defense is terrible. Not even for a penalty and they couldn't even react to avoid a counter shot from the opponent.

Hopefully Salernitana in the next match can win, she deserves more. And Atalanta played to their full potential, Big win from Atalanta.

Juventus have a really bad record in home matches against Atalanta in the recent years. They got three draws and one loss since the last time they defeated Atalanta in Turin. Last week was really absurd for both teams. Atalanta are going to be way more motivated than their opponent undoubtedly. Juventus will need to work harder to make up for that terrible loss against Napoli. Their defensive weakness is a big question mark now. They can be in a big trouble while Atalanta are having a very productive period.

Juventus are favoured for the win of course but I would rather add both teams to score to my parlay and move on.

After the end of first half we have four yellow cards and balanced performance from the both sides, even Empoli is doing better due to having home advantage in this match but Sampdoria is also alert and not allowing them for having any dangerous threat for them.

Sampdoria is having nine points from the 17 matches with just two wins and three draws which put them in relegation zone and most chances they could be stayed here for the next few weeks as well because things are looking not good for them and Empoli is surely better side which is mostly stayed in the middle of the league table because they have balanced side which giving them good results against weaker sides in 19th round they are going to face inter which is currently at the fourth spot in league table.

Dodô got his red card in the 24th minute, which was before Dybala's first goal in the 40th minute. From that situation, we can judge that from the start even AS Roma didn't play aggressively, TBH, they were lucky enough to get the win with 2 goals (IMO). Look how many shots on target they have. That's only 4 shots on goal. If they play like this in the next matches, we can't expect them to be in the top 4 when the league is over.

Even AS Roma this match by 2 - 0 but still this is not convincing win for them because most of the time Fiorentina were playing with the ten men and still they have done good job specially in second half they were better side from the home side because they were doing good strategy and work with ten men and AS Roma which needs to be done better job were having not good time on field for having the good number of goals if we have no RED CARD then surely things could be completely different because AS Roma is not playing as they needed to do things for having good spot at the end of this season with current form most chances they could be stayed at the sixth or seventh spot which is surely not good for them with having good expectations in early rounds of this season.

What can possibly go wrong here? 

After the game Napoli - Juventus, I wrote that the rest of the games will definitely not be able to compete with this game in terms of interestingness and the number of goals. How wrong was I 
I don't think that Atalanta will be able to play as well as Napoli, so I expect the score to be 1-0, 2-1 in this game in favor of one of the teams.

Atalanta's start to the season has been very consistent. but at the end of the season break, Atalanta seemed to have lost its consistency. But it looks like Atalanta are finding their best game again. and in the next match Atalanta will be tested with a match that will be very exciting. namely Juventus will be quite a tough opponent for Atalanta I think.

After having seven matches winning streak they faced humiliating defeat at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in front of 60,000 fans surely having not good signal for them, but now they are going to face another challenge which is surely can bring big impact on their future performance as well because if they are not able to have positive end of this match then surely they can go down and have to regroup again for having positive results until end of this season which could be not easy job for the players and coach as well.

After the break Atlanta is surely having good change in performance and quality, and they are having 2 wins and one draw which is surely good change for them but Juventus having no record against them is another problem for them home side they need to over through this all and give their best for having good change until end of this season Juventus attack and defence both completely expose at Naples, and now they need to improve for the rest of the season.

Napoli victory over Juventus was as a result of an excellent performance, Napoli is a good team and always known for their impressive and high attacking football, the team is placed high in Italian senior league it was unfortunate for Juventus to be given such a shocking and humiliating defeat with many goals from their opponent but what took place in this match is that the good side won with an intimidating scoreline, Napoli deserve this winning because of their non reluctancy and eagerness to score more goals despite the goals the have banged already.

Napoli's victory yesterday made me to believe that  Napoli can be still consistent till the season ends.when inter defeated Napoli many thought Napoli won't be able to play big teams. Napoli victory over Juventus was surprisingly because no thought is will be this way.

Regardless of their condition they are still the same as last season and even if last season there may have been a reason for them due to the tight schedule but now they can't use that excuse.
I think they should really be able to maximize the conditions. They are a club that doesn't have very good players but their squad is evenly distributed and in the previous few seasons they could work well together but for the last 2 seasons it seems to be very complicated for Atalanta.

It was a completely one sided game for Roma after the red card. I really didn't understand what Dodo was up to there. Both of his incidents were really unnecessary. There was no need of aggression. This was one of the Roma games that I like for certain. Because it is really boring to watch them when they play too cautiously. It is always better for this team to keep an attacking game plan. Dybala and Abraham were really impressive. Especially the first goal was a Tsubasa-like goal maybe. 

It is good to see these two players having a good chemistry with each other. I guess Mourinho would continue with this combination in next games as well to increase their scoring productivity.

I think Mourinho's men were careless to get a red card in the game which was not even necessary in the first place, sometimes player lose their head and make decisions that they regret in the end and most times it cost the team vital points they would have earned but Roma were lucky enough to secure a win. Hopefully they will learn from this mistake to keep a cool head even in heated situations.

Having defeat after the break against inter creates some rumours about their run, but they fight back positively and now having clear gap of nine points from the second spotted team giving good indication about their performance into second half of the season where they can do better and have to stay at the top of league table with now in 19th round we have few good encounters which will create good gape for the leaders as well as we have Juventus vs Atlanta.

And then we have Lazio vs AC Milan which is also drooping points in last two games even they are defending champions, but they are far away from the quality which is needed by the defending champion for the title race with this all clearly now Napoli is having easy time but most chances they could be keep their momentum for having good grip on this season's title.

Napoli have continued in the same way they were playing before the world cup started, the coach deserves to be praised for motivating his players not to allow the world cup break affect them, and it didn't. I believe Napoli will win the seria A championship long before their last match of the seria A season.

However, the competition for ranking in the top 3 this season seems to be quite fierce. for rank 1 I have no doubt that Napoli will continue to be at the top until the end of the season. but for 2nd and 3rd place I think it will continue to alternate between Juventus, Milan, Inter and maybe Atalanta. because the season is still long enough to see a lot of point changes.

Hard to predict this one as atalanta often give juventus a surprise , since 2018 both have met for 10 times ... atalanta successfully win it 3 times while juventus win it 2 times ... atalanta doing better in the recent 4 years compared to juventus when both meets , but the draw pretty often as well , it's 5 times in the last 10 games.

I would go for under and over goals for this one, under 3.5 goals for me is a sure thing.
