Two big matches on the weekend and bad results from AC Milan, Atalanta as well as a win of Juventus over Inter Milan make top four competition is very exciting after week 27th.

Lazio with a derby win over AS Roma jumped to a second position but they have 52 points that make them only 11 points more than Juventus at the 7th position. Juventus only have 7 points less than AC Milan at the fourth position and they controlled their destiny by winning over Inter Milan. AS Roma and Atalanta are more closely to top four than Juventus but they have to watch over Juventus as well.

No clubs from Lazio to AC Milan can be safely in top four and they are facing with pressure from three clubs behind including AS Roma, Atalanta and Juventus.

The defeat of these 3 teams was a huge eyesore in Serie A. They were all big Italian teams and had to experience bitter failures simultaneously. After I checked just now and as you said, I am very surprised that Lazio is now in 2nd place in the standings, maybe because the distance in points is so small that it sometimes confuses my vision.

But actually this will be even more fierce considering the competition for teams in the top 4 of the standings except Napoli will risk everything to secure the UCL zone next season. For Inter, Milan and Roma I hope they will get up soon in the next match because they are all being stalked by two other clubs Atalanta and Juventus who will try to shift their positions later.

Regardless, the situation for Serie A towards the end of the season always seems to be like this, because when we look at last season, actually the conditions are the same, only what distinguishes this time from last season is the dominance of Napoli. Ac.Milan are having a normal season I would say...or a season like they used to have in the last decade so yea ...they won't win Serie A , they won't win UCL , but at least they're having progress in UCL and that is something we , AcMilan fans , we craved to see from our club and slowly they are getting there because let's nor forget that Milan used to be a giant when it come to UCL.

If we look at Napoli schedule, there are 4 crucial matches that must be faced, vs Atalanta, AC Milan, Juventus, Fiorentina and Inter Milan. If these 4 matches Napoli lose, it will make Serie-A competition even more interesting if Inter wins in succession. Unfortunately, Inter inconsistency prevented that opportunity.

For me, Milan is a team that has everything to win, even in the UCL they can beat Napoli, it's not impossible, I can't deny that it's a pity that two great Iatlian teams have to be eliminated, because I reiterate, I would like to see one UCL final between Real Madrid and Milan, and I think that is Ancelotti's wish, not bad for Carletto, I suppose that since he is Italian he has that feeling, but these teams that are in the quarterfinals are the best, and no matter how they do in their leagues, they are still the best in the world and that is what matters.

However if Juventus can qualify for the UCL then it will be a dramatic struggle for them. because at first I doubted they would be able to return to the battle for the top 4 after losing 15 points. but Juventus have proven that when their injured players recover they are a strong team that can continue to play consistently. at the beginning of the season we saw Juventus limping and inconsistent due to several of their core players who were injured. but when the players have recovered. we see Juventus continue to improve their performance and at one point we have seen Juventus ranked 2nd before the sanctions were imposed on them. then they fell back to mid-table in the standings after dropping 15 points. but now they have managed to come back up and are almost close to 4th place. and I think Juventus' chances are very high at the moment. because Inter and Milan and even Rome at the moment are not very consistent. and they often lose the points they should get.

Inter and Milan are still in third and fourth positions and indeed, their point gap is still close to AS Roma and Atalanta who are in fifth and sixth positions.
