Napoli's performance was poor especially following Osimhen's red card. Napoli was already struggling when Osimhen was sent off. Politano's red card? Despite a full team, they couldn't find their groove. When it was down to 10 men, everything went haywire

Osimhen and Napoli are responsible for what they do and they can not blame it on the referee or Roma. Osimhen did not make any good shot in the match and he lost his mind because he was controlled well by Roma defenders. When he was disappointed about his performance, he lost his patience, can not keep calm in this hot match and got two yellow cards for stupid fouls.

I heard about Bologna beating Roma, and it's crazy to think that a team with less depth than Napoli managed to pull that off. It proves that teamwork is as important as player quality. Napoli's three losses are worrying. Perhaps they've lost their mojo. With Osimhen out for two games, I'm scared they'll struggle. Their performance must improve quickly

Bologna beat Roma and they even did one more winning, against Atalanta. Bologna are on fire now and they are at the fourth position, just behind AC Milan. The appearance of Bologna in top four is very shocked and they got it with their solid defense system.

After 17 matches, Bologna got only 12 conceded goals which make their defense system is a third best one in Serie A, after Inter Milan (7 conceded goals) and Juventus (11 conceded goals).

After osimhen got a red card I think that was the genesis of Napoli's fall in the match against Roma, Napoli already had a very poor form and had a poor performance along side so the red card made things even worse for them because they were already struggling with complete players, a man down made it even worse.

Roma was beaten by bologna few day back and bologna nis a team that when compared to Napoli in strength and dept so it was more like a team below Napoli was able to win bologna so definitely or most likely Napoli should have been able to win Roma with little stress but then it turned out roma became a hectic game for Napoli to play, the next two games which osimhen will be missing is definitely going to have some effect on Napoli performance and their results will be affected aswell.

The match is spoiled by the referee giving too many cards, which gives Roma the chance to win the match easily. The first half ended in a draw, and the second half Napoli player Matteo Politano received a first red. It wasn't even up to ten minutes, Roma scored their first goal, when Napoli were already struggling and playing with minus one, ten against eleven. Osimhen also received a red card, after a player received another red card there's no any hope for Napoli in that match anymore, which gave Roma the chance to score another goal, pushing Napoli down to seventh place in the group standings.

Since Bologna beaten Roma that is exactly what I expected as well, since Bologna defeated Roma. However, we cannot compare Bologna to Napoli, so I was hoping that Napoli would win the match, but the red card made it worse. Napoli are losing their strength this season, they are not the same Napoli as last season, they are finding it difficult to lead the Italian league, with Osimhen missing their next two games, I don't think they will win the match easily. They will need to take action before Lazio and Atlanta overtake them.

Now Lukaku in Roma is gaining good momentum. And if Lukaku maintains his performance until the end of the season then it is natural that Roma will immediately be interested in getting Lukaku permanently.

I am not sure whether it has been discussed previously or not. what is certain is that at the moment it looks like Roma will make Lukaku permanent because previously Lukaku performance was very bad, but after Lukaku arrival everything changed for the better, the improvement in performance is quite good and it is clear that Mourinho really relies on this player. but the problem is the cost of making this player permanent, is Roma able to cover Lukaku contract costs?
because previously I had heard that Roma was having a bit of a financial problem but wasn't sure whether it had improved because I'm not a Roma fan so I dont know for sure about any developments in depth.

The present of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis makes attempts to revived the club but it's not working at the moment, he has single-handedly appointed and sack numerous coach and have become of the vital problems the club faces. Napoli will suffer this season, I'm seeing it coming their path gradually.

Luciano Spalletti was an important actor in Napoli's success last season, he managed to turn Napoli into a club that was very difficult to beat and in the end he managed to become the best in Serie A after winning the Scudetto. After Spalletti left Napoli's performance gradually declined, his replacement as coach was unable to maintain Napoli's performance as they achieved success last season.

Now Napoli is in seventh place in the standings, this position is not ideal for a team that won the Scudetto last season. If his performance continues like this, his suffering will continue in the next match. Finally, Roma managed to humiliate Napoli 2-0 and force them to drop to seventh place. It took a miracle for Napoli to be able to return to competition in the top four.

Luciano Spalletti's performance and efficiency with Napoli last season was something they've never experienced from a manager since they last won the Italian Serie A title in 1990. But what really surprised me was the fact that he left the club after a very successful season with the club as he lifted the Scudetto for the first time in over 30 years for the club.
Luciano Spalletti's departure didn't sit down well with majority of the club's fans because of how he really improved the performance of the Napoli team. Napoli I think can still improve and do better under current boss if they are determined to do so.

Bologna are still moving on determinedly on their way. They faced two tough teams to beat consecutively recently but they still managed to beat both of them - Atalanta and Roma. They are officially a top 4 contender for me especially after these important wins.    They haven't been losing for five weeks in the league.

Until facing Milan at the end of January I think Bologna's fixture isn't much challenging as well. They can continue without a loss until then. But in San Siro against Milan I don't know whether they can keep this up. They lost to Fiorentina away and maybe they could lose another big away game.

Bologna's victory over Atalanta was also quite surprising because both teams were at the same level and I thought the match would end in a draw. But the result was a narrow 1-0 win for Bologna and indeed home advantage is something that is very profitable for Bologna in this match.

The support from Bologna fans was never-ending and that was what resulted in the only goal being scored in the 86th minute which sealed Bologna's victory at home. In fact, Atalanta wasn't that bad either because they also repeatedly threatened Bologna's goal, but the finishing from their players was still felt to be lacking.

The additional 3 points make Bologna more comfortable sitting in 4th position in the standings, but the difference from Fiorentina is only 1 point, which makes their position in the range of being shifted if they get a draw or defeat in the next match. But as long as they can solidify a win like this, Bologna will be able to stay in their current position for longer.

Exactly my man, One would think that the game would've swinged that way ( A full time draw ) but Bologna kept them cool and defended like they should to win all three points at home in the presence and support of the home fans who gave them unwavering support until the end of the game.

Nigerian International Ademola Lookman was the major force in that game for Atalanta as he was dangerously causing problems for the defense of bologna. They should bjave scored more than three goals if they had converted the chances they had.
Thiago Motta has really been doing a lot, they be sitting at the first four clubs in the first half. They could qualify for the first four clubs if they get to double up them performance.

Ademola Lookman is indeed a key player for Atalanta and if you look at his contribution this season he has scored 6 goals and 3 assists for Atalanta. It's just that every opportunity failed in this match and he failed to provide better hopes for Atalanta. I think Atalanta is also confused when facing an equally strong team and they seem to have difficulty breaking down their opponent's defense.

In the end, Atalanta only sat back in 8th after this defeat and failed to shift Roma's position in the standings. However, their position is a little threatened because Lazio and Torino are starting to overshadow them with a difference of only 2 points. In the next match against Lecce, I hope Atalanta can win again and I will bet on Atalanta winning in this match later.

It's not trivial to find out what their biggest problems are. I think the good beginning this season could have disguised some of the bigger problems and if you look at Giroud, he has scored quite often in the first few games, but then his performance went down. I thought that he is not the perfect striker for AC Milan as they should more focus on pace and Giroud is not really the fastest player anymore. Having someone who understands where to be at the right time is great, but this seems to have stopped working for them. There is not enough variation in their attacking line despite having players like Leao and Pulisic, but as it was the same in Chelsea, Pulisic can't play on a constant level for several weeks in a row. That can harm the team's performance when some of the players can't perform all the time and now we can see the result of that.

There were expectations in start of the season things are going to have changes, but suddenly they all stopped due to poor finances, and they have to rely on players which are currently playing and having not good performance which is surely not ideal, and they were doing good in early matches but suddenly now things are going down, and they are also having deep trouble Giroud performance is surely setback with he was impressive in early days but now having nothing like this and age factor is surely having his impact.

Even currently they are having no problem for dropping in league table because we have struggling time for the few more teams but if they want to have better things surely need to increase quality and bring few fresh players which give them improvement and better results, but we have good thing all elite clubs are in upper half of the league table.

Going into the match against AS Roma, the psychology of Napoli players is being affected the most, especially when they just lost 0-4 at home to Frosinone. While there was a deadlock to find an equalizer, things got even worse for Napoli when they had to play with 9 people on the field. In fact, even before they were superior, Roma played better and created many opportunities. Obviously, they scored the goal and made the most of the situation. I think it was entirely deserved. It had 28 points, one point more than their opponent. Roma is still 3 points behind next season's Champions League group. Mourinho and his team have another problematic match against Juventus, while Napoli returns home to face Monza.

In last four Serie A games they have just one win with overall in last seven games they have just 2 wins mean things are completely down for them and in last 180 playing minutes they are fail to score any goal in presence of the best attackers mean things are not good, and they have to bring some changes in players mindset for the better results otherwise they can face more problems and things can go in deep trouble after having 0–4 at home against Frosinone for Copa Italia and now against Roma 0–2 with from the start of the game home team was in good control giving players psychology is not perfect for the game, and they need to be had something for the improvement now who is going to do this all it is also important but next game against Monza and without Osimhen is surely can bring changes, and they can drop this all which happen in last few matches.

Some positive results achieved of course this makes Roma have a big enough chance to be able to compete in the standings although indeed in this case I don't see them too much because I still believe their conditions will be the same as last season.

At the moment the problems Roma face are also still the same namely in the attack which is sometimes not too erratic which makes this more complicated for themselves.
Indeed, Lukaku's presence adds some positives because even though this still cannot be compared to prime Lukaku when at Inter but he has been able to provide slightly better results because the 14 matches he played in Serie A he has scored 8 goals and 5 goals from 6 Roma matches in the Europa League in my opinion it is a good achievement.

If Mou can maintain this then indeed their big chance for the Champions League or more certainly the Europa League will be very there its  just that we also cannot fully believe that this can be done easily for Roma in their current condition.
