Napoli is very far from defending their serie A title. This have been a complete opposite of what they were last season and it's very sad. With the drama they had with their best player and the league's best player victor osimhen I think the problem in the team would be lasting for a long time.
The present coach is still trying to find the vest formation for the team but in the long run i think there is no future for Napoli with the coach.

Napoli is not worthy of being called a contender to win the scudetto because Napoli are 17 points behind I can't imagine how they will catch up, even getting a ticket to the Champions League next season seems difficult for Napoli. Napoli seemed to have lost half their ability basically different from Napoli we knew last season, they could only win 8 times from 18 matches and 6 of them lost completely unreliable. Napoli current target is to get tickets to the Champions League or European League at least Napoli should get one of them or they would be very embarrassed if they didn't get one of them because of Napoli's status as champions last season.

It is clubs that are used to winning the league that will always compete to win it every season, because that was what they are built for. Napoli has disappointed a lot of fans and well wishers this season with their inconsistencies.

After playing excellent football last year, the football played by Napoli this year is terrible. I especially did not expect to lose points in this match. They played at home and it was a match in which they needed points very much. Despite this, they only got 1 point.
