Juventus winning Roma to me isn't so much of a surprise because I have always anticipated the fact they Roma's inconsistency definitely doesn't guarantee them the ability to play and win Juventus just like that because Juventus isn't a weak or average team that would be considered an easy work over just like that but one which they will really have to work hard to beat.

Roma for me this season has just been within the average range so I don't rate them so high with the expectations of even winning big teams such as Juventus who is not playing in other leagues except for the serie a alone this season so I wasn't expecting any less for a team that have all their focus on achieving a particular trophy alone and they Also have a good form aswell which means they are not weak at all. Roma has been considerably good with their performance this season but in games like this even if they managed to defend well enough they the winning margin was small, thsy still don't look stable enough to win big good teams.

Juventus is really going back to their good old days when they were a brutal team in the defense and highly efficient in striking goals. This one goal when Juventus Turin scored it, I felt that this will be enough to win the game and that Juventus would not really try to go for another goal, but instead focus on keeping the narrow margin and instead make sure they won't concede a goal. It is kind of the same strategy that Roma would have pursued if they scored first. It's a fight between two teams that are both waiting for the first goal and then just focus on the defense. This time Juventus scored first and sent Mourinho home without any points. All the top teams won their games and Roma fell behind.

Currently the gap between Inter Milan and Juventus is only two points. When we take a look about the difference between the two clubs, it is definitely the number of goals that Inter Milan scored (42) compared to 27 for Juventus. Inter are more efficient in the attack line than Juventus but also they received less goals than Juve even though both teams have good records in the defence line.
I don't know if Juventus could overtake Inter soon or not but the fight for the first place will be harder for sure!

As we discussed previously Juventus had to wait for the right moment to take over I mean when Inter Milan is busy with schedules in several competitions then Juventus must be prepared to take advantage of it this moment will happen when the Champions League started. Juventus just needs to wait for Inter Milan with one more defeat and Juventus can do it on February 5 when the two teams fight each other, whoever wins this match will take over the standings. Juventus have started well today after they beat AS Roma, this win is very important for Juventus to stay on track.

Juventus will not waste any opportunities this season because they were able to maintain their hopes of competing for the title after they were able to beat Roma. Even though Juventus game is sometimes not very good, the final result is that they are able to get 3 points and that is what Allgeri is focusing on this season. With the win in today match, Juventus has succeeded in sticking closely to Inter Milan at the top of the standings because currently Juventus is only 2 points behind Inter Milan.

I think if Inter Milan again fails to get full points in the next match then it is very likely that Juventus will be able to take over the leadership of the standings. well, it's different from Roma where they failed to get close to the top 4 because they couldn't provide strong competition in today's match so Roma have to stay in 7th place for the time being.

But winter transfers will be extremely difficult for Juventus Turin. Maybe since they are on a good way to qualify for the Champions League and also fight for the Scudetto until the end of the season, those are two convincing aspects that might get good players to sign a contract with them. But as far as I know they are also not in the best financial situation and it is hard to think of players that would help the team instantly. If they can play a strong season with the team they have and then invest the max to get the best out of it, that would probably be the optimal way to go about transfers for them.

Juventus don't have too powerful and goal productive attacking system in this season but they are playing and winning with traditional tactics of Italy football. Minimal winnings are enough for Juventus and in the match with Roma at Juventus Arena, they got only one goal and finalized the match.

So far, Juventus have really shown resilience and determination to keep their title hope alive and I must say that I love the team spirit the players have shown among each other, they've won some big teams in the serie A and i feel the rest of the teams wouldn't be a barrier to them, closing the gap between them and the league leaders has given them an edge to fight harder because should Inter Milan lose a match and Juventus wins then Juventus will automatically top the league table so Juventus need to be more confident and consistent and should not allow losing out at this stage league.

Most of the time their defensive tactics works for them, and they are now at the second spot with just 2 points difference and 7 points difference from the third spotted AC Milan which is also doing good work, but they need to improve their performance for staying at this spot we have just Inter Milan which is playing aggressively, and their attack is also doing good job with 42 goals from 18 games no other team in Serie A having attack and defense like them because they are also giving the toughest performance and concede only 8 goals which is also impressive.

Congratulations to Juventus and they deserved the victory which is the best goal any potential team can use to win their opponent and, they are very close to Inter Milan which is a little points different for them to take the first position soon. I agree that Udinese is surely unpredictable as in last season they stated very good but after few weeks we have downfall for them with in this season they were in relegation zone and trying to have better results, but now this match bring them good result which also bring them out of the relegation zone as well with first win into their last 9 games.

Big setback for the high-flying Bologna which were trying to narrow difference from third spotted AC Milan now have to be settled for the fifth spot after this lost Fiorentina having third win which bring them now at the fourth spot look like now we will have good performance from the few clubs which are hanging round for staying at the top ranks and things have never been easy.
