As I have always said, Serie A is a super defensive league and not many goals happen here and when it's between two big teams and no one is clearly dominating, the score remains very low on goals. But I have the same thoughts as you. Mourinho's management actually did surprise me. He is basically known for his park the bus mentality but yesterday he had 58% possession.

But possession does not matter when you can't create chances, get shots on target, and all that. Juventus had more shots, shots on target despite having less possession. Either way, they have won the match and got the 3 points so it does not really matter how they got them. Roma's defeat put them on the back foot in the top 4 race. On the other hand, Juventus got closer to Inter Milan after beating Roma as Inter Milan drew against Genoa last night.

Comparison with Premier League and La Liga I think Serie A become most defensive team and not playing offensive on every match, Juventus on 2nd position awhile just scored 27 goals and drastically difference with La Liga and Premier League 2nd standings teams success scored above 43 goals. Almost Serie A teams have poor ration winning goals on every match exactly Jose Mourinho know his tactic as park bus on every match and he just prefer with counter attack only.

However, looking at the tables from both leagues now it has changed I think for this season. The Premier League clubs at the top of the table score and concede more I think. The top ranked teams in Serie A actually don't have a very high number of goals per game. Inter Milan pushes that number down because they have such a good defense. They are scoring enough goals, but hardly concede any goals so that also pushes down that number.

After the new year there is a game which could be tough for Napoli. They have an away game against Torino which are only a few points behind themselves. Napoli still have a really solid record against Torino in head-to-head games actually. Considering the statistics in this season Napoli are one of the best teams in away games as well.

Torino are also not bad in home games as they have lost only once which was against Inter. This could be an interesting game maybe but I hope to see Napoli finally winning a game while having difficult days. They really need a winning streak to recover.

I just discovered that the defending Champions of Seria A ( Scudetto Competition ) are currently eighth position currently on the league standing. This is as a result of the poor Rudi Garcia who dragged this particular down to the mud.
I don't know too well about them head to head but this could still be a tough game. Victor Oshime would most likely not be involved as he'll be in camp with his National Team mates.

The African Cup of Nations Competitions begins soon and I don't think they want to risk him. He should be freed and allowed to go. The African Cup of Nations Competitions would be very important for Nigerians, they'll need their start man around.

Let's narrow it down to five games away from home, they've just won twice amd lost three, ain't that a poor show? They'll find the game difficult to win.

Juventus is also among the teams that won the scudetto this season and if they succeed in doing so, Juventus could turn their fortunes around for the better this season. I also praise Allegri good performance because He was able to utilize the existing squad to perform well in serie A. Even this season juventus did not buy enough quality player but they managed to maintain their performance quite consistently.

Problems like this must be resolved by Juventus because if they are really serious about the Scudetto then they must be even better, especially for their current attack line.

I mean 76 games with a 1-0 win is the Italian league record, imagine how much you need to understand about attacking but also having the ability to defend at the same time to get a result like that. Allegri did just that, he is famous for 1-0 wins, and now he broke the league record for that.

Roma and Mourinho also knows about defense a lot as well so it wasn't really a shock that this game ended this way, I have to say it's always almost guaranteed that Allegri vs Mourinho games would end in small scores, hence why I didn't really know who would win but I knew there couldn't be so many goals so I played under 1.5 goals and won. You want to know even weirder part? Betting on that wasn't really all that much odds, even bookies knew it would end like that.

It is quite accurate as you said, where juventus attack line is not very impressive this season because if we look at the many match that juventus have played where they often end the match with a narrow win, namely 1-0. Milan flopped at some point, I was thinking they'll want to get the current manager sacked since he got dumped out of the Champions League group stage just like it was for them last season.
We all shall monitor of he successfully lead them well in the European Europa League Competition. But in the league, it feels like a safe passage for them into the next Champions League.

I didn't follow Fiorentina very well, they're not amongst the clubs I fan in Italian Seria A. Disappointed with Atalanta though because I believe they can do better.

Juventus have really improved than last season and yes they’re not so sharp up there in the attack but they are composed defensively. And you know what they say, defense is the best form of attack.They concede less and also try to score at least one or two and get all 3 points and that’s one big way to win te league. Even though if juventus would not get a penalty last season and it would still be banned from UEFA champion league if it was qualified. It's nothing to lose for juventus caused by it has completed to receive all the sanctions from FSG and UEFA. It's time for juventus to go back again in the UCL.
There will be no burden anymore for juventus to play in the UEFA champion league next season coz it has removed all of the potential sanctions. I can see how juventus played even more freely without any burden like last season.

I have absolutely no doubt that Juventus Turin regrets to not be in the situation to be thinking about other competitions or do you think that the players sit at home, watch their fellow competitors play in the Champions League and be happy about it? That is not quite correct as Juventus Turin is still playing in the Coppa Italia and I think that's also an important competition in Italy and a valuable trophy. Juventus Turin brought themselves into position to play a great season even without the very big competitions I think. They need to stay close to Inter Milan as beyond any doubt they will be the fiercest contender for the Scudetto until the end of the season. Those two teams will make the race, but I still see Inter Milan having a little advantage over Juventus. Inter Milan has an impressive goal difference, which says a lot about their strengths within the team on all positions.
