I know Napoli is not die yet but it will be difficult for them to lift this trophy again in this season, which you know that there are many strong teams that has double cross them to use huge amount of points to gap them in the table. As it stand in this season, I don't think the coach can do something that will make the team to showcase what they have never showcase before because, some of their potential strikers will be leaving the team soon because their contract will expire soon and they don't want to continue with the team again.

Now Napoli is in the top eight of the standings which is quite far from being in the top flight, so Napoli may only be able to try to be in the top four of the standings until the end of the season if they are still able to win more matches and hope that their other rivals can lose. Because Roma, Atalanta, Bologna and Fiorentina have made quite good progress this season, Napoli continues to experience decline in its position so far.

I believe Napoli will improve next season because, by then their coach will have some new players that will make some improvement that will give their fans hope that with time their coach will get it right to help them win some trophy.

As I mentioned in my previous post, Roma history with that team was not that successful and so far Roma won two and Cremonese won two matches among the four that they played against each other.
Roma were lucky to pass but in reality they missed many opportunities to score and they were able to win without needing to score the penalty..
Roma should improve their gameplay so they can advance further in all competitions.

It would be easier for Roma if goal bar and pillar did not refuse two shots from Pellegrini and El Sharawy. At the end, they won with two goals from Lukaku and Dybala but it's not an easy winning for them. It is surprising to see no Inter Milan and Napoli in the quarter final. I can't believe Bologna defeated Inter and Frosinone defeated Napoli. Inter and Napoli are actually stronger than those teams. I think it is because Inter and Napoli a bit underestimate their opponents. They were playing not with their best lineup.

Among those teams which are qualified for the quarter final, Milan should be the favorite team to win the title. But if Juventus can qualify, Juventus will be also the favorite to be the champion. So, the ideal final must be AC Milan vs Juventus. I hope this ideal final will happen and it will be interesting to watch.

True story and I have a divided opinion on that. On the one hand I can understand every Napoli fan and everyone else who is pro Napoli that expectations rise when the team plays sensational soccer and wins the title in such a convincing manner that it seemed as if Napoli was the new superpower in the Serie A. On the other hand we have seen these outliers from time to time and more often than not the teams were not able to live up to the newly risen expectations simply because the foundation wasn't there. It was more a case of over delivery when they won the title than living up to their standards.

I saw the goal scored by Romelu Lukaku, he used his body as a shield score he could score that goal comfortably. Great finish for the Belgian even if he was already playing badly in that game before he scored.

Not sure what lead to the penalty awarded but it was a great spot kick taken by Paula Dybala as he helped qualified Jose Mourinho and the rest of the lads to the next round.

Roma will take certain cups seriously, but they don't play well in their league. Even yesterday, I didn't think they would win the match again because the Cremonese scored the first goal, which is very hard to equalise. Lukaku and Dybala are really trying for Roma because without them, they won't be able to score even one goal again.
