While this is fair, under Allegri's Juve  that same Como probably would've dominated possession and created several chances. We are excited to have a manager who will encourage attacking football and allow players to express themselves. The excitement is more about the tactics and mentality more than it is about the win over a newly promoted team.

Maybe even though Juventus is still under Allegri's coaching, Juventus might still be able to win against Como, which is just a club that has just been promoted from Serie B. But I also like how Thiago Motta has made Juventus' strategy and playing style feel more alive at the moment. Yes it's too early to judge how successful they would be for sure. However, we can be happy with the fact that we just don't sit back and let teams come at us. The mentality and tactical approach has changed to one that shows more confidence and belief. It also allows our players to be more themselves instead of just reacting to the opponents. It is early in my opinion to say that Juventus has proven anything by winning against a team that just had promoted from Serie B and expected to return there by the end of the season.
The only positive thing about this match was the number of goals scored by Juventus. They rarely score more than 1-2 goals usually, so 3 goals was a good start indeed regardless for how weak their opponent is.
In the other hand, the next two upcoming matches will be interesting for Juve, facing Hellas Verona away then Roma home. We will see how good they are and how serious they are to overtake the title this season.

True, Como is not the toughest test for Juventus, but I am glad that they started this season so well, it would have been worse if they could not win, or only get a minimal victory. In addition, only a few teams were able to win, Milan, Inter and Napoli lost points. I don't want to praise Juventus too much because their opponents are a new and weak team so not too surprised by the 3 goal win. To see Juventus chances of winning the title, we have to wait until Juventus plays against AS Roma or Napoli next month well, here their abilities will be tested if Juventus can beat these 2 teams then they are worth considering. By the way, I was a little disappointed with AS Roma first match they only drew against Cagliari even though previously we had high expectations, but yeah maybe some new players still need to adapt because sometimes it's not easy especially with the mental burden as a mainstay player. It was a great start for Juventus. They won 3-0 and got three points. The first week is over and only four teams could win. Four teams lost, the rest tied. I don't think they will have any problems for their next matchday, because both teams (Juventus & AC Milan) have good squad depth. In the next meeting, Juventus will face AS Roma, the odds for each team are 1.91 for Juventus & 4.30 for AS Roma. Meanwhile AC Milan will meet Parma, the odds are not much different from the Juventus match, from there i judge that Juventus & AC Milan will not have any problems.

They got a big win in a first match of Serie A 2024 - 2025 season and with a new coach. Thiago Motta got a first win with his new club and it's more impressive that he used many young players in this match. These lads still have many things to do to keep up their good works, grow their career more and maintain their performances and contributions for Juventus at as highest and best level as possible.

So far, both the head coach, young players and the club have very good start from which they can aim at bigger things in this season. Thiago Motta made big surprise with Bologna in the last season and he is ready to repeat it with Juventus. With experience as a player in many big clubs, won many titles in the past as a player, Thiago Motta potentially does it as a head coach too.
