Leverkusen are really pretty impressive so far. Xabi Alonso is just continuing from where he left. I'm curious about one thing as well. Can they stay in the title race until the end? After seeing them performing really decently in Allianz Arena and stealing a point from them too I started to think about this possibility more.

Leverkusen wouldn't do like Dortmund did at the end in my opinion. They would play much stronger if they play a championship game on the final week of the season. Therefore Bayern Munich had better be as consistent as possible if they don't want to see their title streak ending.

Once they won the Uefa and once they played the Champions League final against Real Madrid. Leverkusen would have wo the game comfortably if their finishing was a bit better. Leverkusen's striker is someone everyone should watch. What kind of a guy is he, strong like a stallion, soft and agile like an octopus. If he improves his finishing a bit, next year he'll go from Leverkus to a big team.

Leverkusen and Leipzig look to be tough opponents for Bayern Munich this season. Bayern Munich are favorites this season but these teams could cause problems for Bayern Munich.

Leverkusen is number one in the points table and RB Leipzig is number three in the points table and in the middle is Bayern Munich, although these two clubs cannot perform consistently like Bayan Munich but if they keep getting points like this in every match then it is never good for Bayan Munich. There will be no news. Bayern Munich are an unbeaten team so far with only one match they have shared points with another team. Hopefully, along with most teams, Bayern Munich will win this season and win the league title.

I have watched every match of Leverkusen this season. This team is playing very well now. So far I can't find any weakness in the team. Xabi Alonso's match strategy is very good. Based on what I've observed, Alonso's Leverkusen seems good this season. I admire how Alonso has improved the team's play since the Allianz Arena loss. Very impressive! As someone who has seen Bayern Munich control the Bundesliga for years, Im still sceptical of Leverkusen's chances. Four games are simply a minor part of a season, so think large. Illness, tight timetables, and other issues will make it hard for Leverkusen to encourage their players. I hope they play well every time, but Munich's history and riches may put them ahead.

 Bayern Munich managed to win the game and would remain the strongest contenders of the league,  anyways they're still behind Leverkusen currently but with time I believe they'll go back to their normal position and might even widen the gap like they normally do in previous times, so far i love the performance of Harry Kane for his team and i believe were yet to see alot he's got to offer in Bayern Munich this season.

Of course, when facing Heidenheim it will be an easy matchs for Leverkusen because they are playing at home and see that Leverkusen chances are bigger, but in their last match Leverkusen lost to Heidenheim but I think this seasons is different, Leverkusen has experienc a lot of improvement and is believed to be able to win match.

With the start and performance of the Bayer Leverkusen things are looking impressive and if we have no mid-season collapse then surely in this season competition could be not easy for the title because right now Bayern Munich and Leipzig these are at same level even we have few more teams which are competing in good way, but mostly we have some issues in other teams which helps Bayern Munich for taking good lead but this time it looks like we will have tough time for them even they have services of Harry Kane who is one of the best in business.

Dortmund had a golden chance last season but they blew it, it will surely pain them but it's too late to cry, I hope they sit better and get to receive the trophy this season. More so, I've never doubted Dortmund has a viable contender in the Bundesliga, and no matter their performance, I know they could win, and that is evident in their regular season top running, this season will not be different. Mind you, none of Bayern nor Dortmund has lost any local league match this season and UCL has not started yet.

In early four matches, we have interesting performance from the few teams specially Bayer Leverkusen and Leipzig are giving their best and clearly indicating things could be not easy for the Bayern Munich in coming weeks, but it's all still too early because we have to go for the long season which could be full of surprises and upsets but here any injury to big player can also create change as well.

Now after few days we are going to have Champions League as well which will also bring some chaos for few teams which are going to compete in this, but one thing is clear about Bundesliga fans were looking for change, and now it's already on the way with Bayern Munich needs to play much better and consistent if they want to keep things at the top in presence of Bayer Leverkusen and Leipzig which are giving their best and having good success at the Allianz Arena as well.

Congratulations to Heidenheim and their coach Frank Schmidt. Heidenheim finally won for the first time in Bundesliga 1. They deserved to win 4:2. After the 2:2 draw, they scored two more goals and showed that the defence from Werder Bremen was pretty bad today. In addition, Frank Schmidt also has something to celebrate. Exactly 16 years ago today he started as the coach from Heidenheim. 16 years making him the longest-serving coach in German professional football.

Wow, great, how can Heidenheim keep their coach for that long. Because usually, a team will always make changes to make the team better and better. But yes, if Frank Schmidt has been at Heidenheim for a long time, then that proves that Heidenheim has high trust in Frank Schmidt. Because after all, Heidenheim is not a team that is always in the Bundesliga and in fact Heidenheim is a promoted team this season. Honestly, I still don't understand why Heidenheim can do this, because even though Heidenheim managed to win the match against Werder Bremen. Although Heidenheim failed to get promoted to Bundesliga 1 in 2020 (relegation matches against Werder Bremen) they continued to believe in Frank Schmidt.

It will now be interesting to see what happens to Schmidt if Heidenheim do not succeed in Bundesliga 1.

Last season they started the season disappointingly, a series of bad results they got, at that time Xabi entered and could slowly improve Leverkusen's performance and could also slowly move up in the standings. This season is different from before, they can achieve good results at the start of the season, 3 wins and 1 draw are very good results from the 4 matches they have played. They can also perch at the top of the table because of superior goal productivity from Bayern Munich. Although different, but this reminds me of Xavi at Barcelona, both of these relatively new coaches can lift the team's performance.

Leverkusen is doing well this season, and I was not even sure that they would draw with Bayern Munich even though they are still beginning if the season. However, we can never say that they won't perform similarly to Dortmund given that the season has only just begun, and they will likely continue to be leading the league if they don't sell any top players like Dortmund did without replacing them. Anyway, I can see that Dortmund has improved from last season wining against Freiburg. Leverkusen's position at the top surprised me greatly, but a team cannot always hold the top spot. I am confident that Bayern Munich will soon overtake Leverkusen with points.

Bayern Munich happens to be one of my favorites especially when it has to do with German football and they have really earn my support as a result of their achievements over the years but in this season they have seem not to be at that very best I really expect of them but then we never can tell the season is still at it's beginning so hopefully we will see things change before mid season.

On the other hand the German bundesliga table is been toped by a team we least expect to be at that position (Leverkusen) although they have shown a brilliant performance enough to earn the spot so they should enjoy it while it last as the season is still at it's early stage and I believe other teams are on the watch to see how they can earn a top spot on the league table.

Summarily I could say the bundesliga this season will come with more of surprises as every team seam to be putting in their little best, it is best to at this time keep an open mind as anything can happen since we still have enough time, I mean many weeks enough for teams to prove their self of been worthy of securing a top spot on the league table and probably be the champions.

Leipzig against Augsburg was the cleanest match this week with not a single yellow card issued by the referee. Leipzig definitely closed their victory from the first half because they had broken into Augsburg's goal 3 times. Each goal was scored by Xavi Simons, Luis Openda and David Raum. In the second half there were no significant changes and it seemed that both teams were quite satisfied with the results. This result made Leipzig secure 3rd place, followed by Stuttgart, Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg by collecting the same number of points.

I have had sympathy for Leipzig since last year. They started this year very well and are at the top of the leadership race. They are only 1 point short of their opponents, which means they can take the lead in the matches to be played in the coming weeks.
It is not easy to become a champion when there is a team like Bayern, but we can say that Bayern is not very good this year compared to other years

Last year Munich wasn't really that dominant either. In fact, they almost lost the title last season with the same points as Dortmund.
Leipzig is always consistent with its achievements every season to continue to be at the top of the standings. they are a strong team in the bundesliga that I think is very likely to compete with Munich and Dortmund.
It's still too early in the season for every team. but I hope the competition will remain interesting until the end of the season with several clubs showing consistent performance. when the Bundesliga has strong teams that are very competitive, then it will show better competition, like in the Premier League or La Liga.

How did Munich do last season? I couldn't hold back the excitement. Of all the teams, Dortmund almost caught up to them. Leipzig has always been special to me. They're like the dark horse that never quite makes it to the front of the pack after a run. But this could be their season. They're doing well in the ranks right now, but as you said, it's still early days. I really want the Bundesliga to be very exciting, like the Premier League or La Liga. Bayern was really not that dominant but there was no team ready to make use of that. Dortmund was a joke at the end of the season, it was unbelievable what they did and also didn't deserve it then.

Leipzig is consistent yes, but it's never enough for them to lead the table and stay there. They are among the top four and that has been like that for quite long I think, but they could never be a threat to Bayern Munich in the race for the Bundesliga title. For 5 years in a row they finished in the Champions League qualifiers, but every time it was quite the distance to Bayern Munich.

It's difficult when the difference is so stark in terms of mentality and strength that even when there is an opportunity, it sometimes seems to be wasted.
For example, last season where it should have been easily obtained by Dortmund because of the determination they only had to win 3 points when they were quite favoured but in the end everything returned to belong to Bayern, which is irrefutable evidence that clubs other than Bayern in the Bundesliga seem to lose hope in the title race.

Leipzig in terms of performance I would not say they are stable but they can always be in the top 4 at the end of the season.
The start of this season they did better than before but I agree with you that it won't be a reference point for the title race because in the end all they're after is probably the top 4.

Stability is relative. If a team constantly ranks among the top 4 teams, in my opinion that is called stability over a long period of time. I am not so much talking about a month or two because that's when Leipzig does have problems from to time and that is the reason they are not playing for the title, but only for rank 2 to rank 4. Bayern is stable for over a decade now as they always won the title, but if you take a point in time or a time window like the end of last season, there was instability. Now it needs someone to punish that and this is where the Bundesliga has a big problem.

Bayern did not win 13 games last season, they did not win 13 out of 34. That has not happened in over a decade and now that it happened, Dortmund could still not win it because they are not consistently in the 70+ points range.
