Frankfurt was not as good as in previous seasons and because of that, basically Frankfurt has experienced a decline in performance from last season.

Frankfurt is a strong team but they dont show it every weekend in the league thats the problem.

Leverkusen started this season very good, they are competing Bayern Munich in terms of match results but also goals scored and accepted. The good part is they are scoring many goals which is reassuring.
The 5th round finished and the fighting for top spots seems to be intense. I find Leipzig doing good also. I am not sure for how long Hoffenheim and Stuttgart will remain in this form and whether Dortmund will wake up soon but Bundesliga looks more interesting with many teams close to each others.

I would say playing a draw against Freiburg isnt that bad and taking 1 point out of that game is good , for sure a win would be better.

It's a bit difficult for him to do the same in the Bundesliga, but he made a good start in the Bundesliga and maybe he will do the same impressive stats in the Bundesliga. I wouldn't compare him to Harry Kane already, but maybe he can compete with Serhou Guirassy.

We cannot separate Alonso's role in bringing Leverkusen to its current form. Dortmund poor summer transfer window is a thing of concern seriously because they didn’t directly sign the replacement of the players that left. But still I will give it to them that they are still getting points. They are currently just two points behind the leaders and this isn’t bad for them but the major concern is you don’t allow Bayern to open gap at the start like that and right now Bayern isn’t the only club ready to go for the title only this season, Bayer Leverkusen have shown that they have what it takes to either steal the trophy from Bayern Munich or better still fight till the end.

I seriously like this fight even though other clubs might fall back sooner or later but it is a good start. Indeed, they have several other good players, but until week 5, Frankfurt is still having difficulty in terms of goal productivity. Maybe I feel they haven't completely improved like last season when they often won rather than draws. Talking about Frankfurt's next match this week, they will be playing against a team that is one level above them, namely Wolfsburg and I think this will be a fierce battle because each team will be aiming for points again to get a better position.
