I don't think Dortmund's performance last season was consistent. Bayern Munich's performance was erratic. They lost a lot of points. Due to this, Dortmund got the chance to go to the top of the points table. In the 2022–23 season, Dortmund won 22 matches, and in the 201–22 season, Dortmund also won 22 matches. I think this Leverkusen squad is the first real challenge for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga so far. What we have seen more often is that Bayern may have struggles to score and then it becomes a close call in the end like in the game against Gladbach.
