Last season Stuttgart finished in 16th place, meaning they had to go through the playoffs if they wanted to compete in the Bundesliga again.  There are 2 teams really suprised everyone this season in the Bundesliga and they're Stuttgart and Leverkusen especially Stuttgart, Leverkusen's case is understanding based on the manager in control and the good quality players they introduced to the squad this season but Stuttgart don't have much top players in their squad but I doing very fine and are even above the title contenders Bayern Munich in the league.

 So  far they only lost 1 game in 7 matches and won the rest 6, that's a very impressive stats an it's a good thing they've started very well and if they maintain this form till the middle of the league or beyond, even if they start being inconsistent in winning they might manage to finish among the top 7 and play in the conference league or Europa, well there player Guirassy is currently in a good shape and is currently the highest goal scorer having scored about 13 goals so far, his performance is being noticed by big teams and by next summer they could be at Stuttgart doorstep to get him.

Im betting if guarassy will be leaving from the club during the winter transfer season. I see no reason for him to stay even longer in the club. He is performing so well with stuttgart but it seems like that many eyes are starting to come toward him.

Other clubs need to sell their key player to keep the club afloat but Bayern have a solid financial standing. If they don't sell their best, the club might not make a profit for the owners. So in most cases, these clubs don't give so much preference to trophies but how profitable the club is. These clubs can keep a coach who recruits and build young players to become superstars because it is one of their main source of revenue. These young players who were signed for a very low price will be sold for so much profit.

I can speculate that Bayern Munich is gradually losing its grip on the Bundesliga. It used to be a common practice for the Bavarians to comfortably win the league with sometimes few matches to spare. But is gradually changing like we saw last season when Borussia Dortmund lost the league on goal difference. It seems other clubs might also give Bayern the needed competition this season. Bayer 04 Leverkusen is topping the league with VfB Stuttgart in second position. Thomas Tuchel's side is in third position with 17 points, two points below the current league leaders.

Last season we saw a slight change and that would have been good to see I know Munich are great but they are not the Munich we know during Pep Guardiola.
That slight change we failed to see last season would be positive and possible this season.
Dortmund should have done better than they did but the bottled it up for Bayern Munich.
Bayern Leverkusen has potentials they have worked hard but we haven't seen half of the season yet. Leverkusen  will.need more than what they do to win the league. They need all hands on deck to achieve the Bundesliga.
