I really didn't expected Leverkusen to get yet another tie, this is basically end of the season already. I understand that Wolfsburg isn't a totally terrible team, they are a midtable team that may do well at some games, but it wasn't really a game that I expected Leverkusen to do this badly.

The gap between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen has increased to 8 points now, and there is no way that we would see them do any differently now, it is going to be a tough deal and we are not going to see them do fine at all, it is going to be quite terrible. Yes, they have fallen behind badly and are unlikely to win the league anymore, but they have made some decent competition, something that hasn't happened in the Bundesliga for a very long time now

After the legendary season they had last year, it can be considered normal for them to be like this this year. If they had shown such a performance this year, Bayern could have fallen, but everyone now thinks that last year was a very successful and lucky year for Leverkusen, just like at the beginning of the year. I think that the top in Germany this year will end under the leadership of Bayern Munich.

For some weird reason I think ALonso should have never decided to not let Wirtz play. If there is only a tiny chance left to stay on top of the Bundeslinga side by side with Bayern Munich, then it is not the time to experiment and let the best player on the bench. It was stupid and of course it backfired and now he is being blamed to have lost the title due to that decision.

It was clear that Bayern Munich would need Leverkusen to fail one more time and then that's it. That is what was the result of his decision, or at least this is how people will see it.

The game against Bayern Munich is literally unimportant now because even if Leverkusen wins that game, 7 points is too much of a gap and Bayern Munich doesn't really have any issues to constantly win their games in thew Bundesliga.

The opportunity to overtake Bayern Munich is certainly getting harder, it is not easy to reduce the gap of 8 points, although in the next match Leverkusen can secure full points. It must be admitted, Bayern Munich is now getting closer to winning the trophy, Kompany only needs to make sure his team does not lose when visiting BayArena next week. To be honest, Leverkusen performance as the defending champion this season is not too bad, there is still hope to be able to turn things around.

No one expected them to draw and drop another point because they really seem determined and the performance was convincing enough to say they can challenge Bayern Munich to the title. We don’t know what happened but it will be more difficult now to challenge them, the point gap have increased to 8 points and if Bayer Leverkusen cannot maintain consistency then I don’t think they can meet up. There is still a little bit of hope if they can guarantee 100% performance in remaining games.

Leverkusen have upped their game since last season it’s just that they didn’t start the season well that is why if not they are not doing so badly. Days like this are bound to come and even Bayern Munich have had similar experience so i don’t really blame them much. Bayern Munich are likely to be champions but they still need to maintain consistent performance.

I frankly believe that if Leverkusen will try to preserve a small chance to have a say in the title race, they would have to win every single game from now on and the the opportunity if there is any left is still infinitely small. One problem they have is that they are not winning games strongly. To fix this they could try to make their team that scores goals stronger especially by adding good players on left and right sides of field. It is very difficult to maintain stability if the club is not a club that is used to dominating the league, Leverkusen was able to break Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga and he managed to win the title but that was the first time in their history so it is very difficult to continue to maintain in the second season while Bayern Munich is still a fairly tough competitor in the Bundesliga and this season even though Leverkusen could not defend its title being right under Bayern Munich is not bad he can continue to be Bayern Munich's competitor for the next seasons.

Leverkusen's performance did decline at the beginning of the season but they have improved after doing some evaluations so that now they have managed to rank second in the standings. If compared to last season, it is true that Leverkusen's performance has declined a lot but we also have to remember that Bayern Munich did not show good performance last season which made it easier for Leverkusen to reach the title. This season Bayern Munich's performance has improved, making the competition much more difficult for Leverkusen, so with the points difference between the two at the moment, it is almost certain that Bayern Munich will have a better chance of winning the Bundesliga trophy.

I can't say they were terrible with creating dangerous attacks. The main problem was with finishing otherwise they had so many goal attempts. You just can't score only 1 out of them. 

I wish the new manager good luck on the recovery phase! He won't be able to make signings too because the window is already closed... But I believe the squad is still technically strong enough to be competitive for top positions.

What were you expecting when Leverkusen is in tittle race but Xabi chose to play his second team? That draw was due to bad coaching because I don't understand why he left the players with the most goals on bench. Maybe we should congratulate Bayern Munich already for winning this year's league since Leverkusen is giving up on the race for the title. It's now eight points difference and the gap is getting bigger because Leverkusen focus and comfortable with draws more than winning.

Xabi tactics has been slow and too conservative. They need to attack all the time now instead of focusing on dominating the possession. Sadly, Leverkusen need to win every match now for the rest of the season and hope bayern fumble if they have interest in defending their championship. Leverkusen have played a lot of attacking football since the start of last season and their performances have been consistent since the start of the season which saw them top the points table at the start of the season and remain so at the end of the season. This season, Bayern Munich have not given Leverkusen any chance so far for Leverkusen to move to the top of the points table. At this stage of the season, Leverkusen has a considerable point gap with Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich is moving forward from a fairly safe position to take this point gap.  

In the future, if Bayern Munich performs a little more consistently, then the points gap between Bayern Munich and Leverkusen will increase, which will gradually lead to a safer position for Bayern Munich.
