I don't like the current state of Bayer Leverkusen who has a considerable difference with Bayer Munich in the Bundesliga standings, Xabi Alonso is less than optimal in getting points in previous matches so that Munich managed to collect points quite well and perfectly until it was at the top of the standings to this day.

What's really happening to Leipzig? They went ahead in the first minute just after kick off and were winning till half time. Just after the break, they are currently trailing by 1 goal, what's really happening to them! When you look at the time duration of Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen and how far he's improved the club performance in short period of time from being an average team to becoming one of two most consistent teams in the German Bundesliga in the last two seasons, you can't help but give him his flowers for a job well done. The Spanish young manager have already written his name in gold in the history books of the club and in Germany football history already and should be fail to win the German Bundesliga this season, i think the club fans will still be very much happy with him. Xabi Alonso is gradually making a good name for himself and his already starting to position himself for bigger and better job in one of these elite teams, sooner or later one of them will come asking for his services. Bayern Leverkusen is having an incredible record since his arrival, how I wish one of these Arab men could see this club and invest on it. I'm sure in a few years they will start competing hand to hand with Bayern Munich and in Europe in general. Leverkusen needs funding to excel more than the way they are right now.

But even this impressive work won't be enough for a back-to-back title most probably. Bayern Munich are really difficult to be stopped in the Bundesliga. Even Leverkusen couldn't beat them home despite playing completely one-sided. The gap is 8 points. But I must say I really admired Leverkusen's game against Frankfurt. As long as Xabi Alonso stays for longer years I don't think Leverkusen will drop down from being a serious title contender. Another thing I wonder is whether they will lose their best players this summer (such as Wirtz etc.).

After watching yesterday's match I have a thought that Alonso very ambitious to get another title. Even though it is very difficult but he remains consistent with his mainstay players. I think Alonso is like a guardian angel for Leverkusen who gives a new history by winning a title that Leverkusen has never won and I believe as long as Leverkusen has not won a prestigious title, he will be maintained.

Another thing I wonder is whether they will lose their best players this summer (such as Wirtz etc.).

We waited for the RB Leipzig football team to watch a very good game, I was very excited to see a goal in their first minute. But since then they haven't tried properly, which we didn't see from them. To be honest I can't figure out why RB Leipzig isn't performing properly this season, they couldn't even manage yesterday's game properly. I think they are not in the right position right now, because they have only won one of their last matches. It was also true that if they had had the chance to win against Mainz, then they would have been able to stay in a consolidated position in the Bundesliga points table at the moment.

Bayer Leverkusen and German teams in general, with the exception of Bayern Munich, aren't known for holding their coaches and best players. I don't know if Leverkusen will hold Xabi Alonso once it finds a good deal, especially that he is considered as a successful coach, even though this season his team risk to lose the title but after all he was able to kick Bayern Munich last year.
Yesterday, Bayer Leverkusen scored 3 goals in less than ten minutes which made the game easier for them to play. During the following days, they will face Bayern Munich twice in UEFA Champions League, we will see how things will end there

I don't think for the Bayern side the have been impressive and nothing like improvement to be honest, I said that because they are doing well for now in the Bundesliga but very bad in the champions league and I can't call that improvement and they are operating under fear of losing the Bundesliga title to the current Champions which is Bayer Leverkusen. If the Bayern side have improved they would have been playing pretty well both in the champions league and the Bundesliga, if care is not taken they might be kicked out of the champions league because I don't see any seriousness.
I won't blame Bayer Leverkusen for their poor performance at the early stage of this campaign, it was because of the effort they put to get all their achievement last season that's why they started slowly, these guys are tired and they need a better rest but this season came with too much engagement which have shown so much on the players and their performance, some players do lose that force they had last season so I think they have tried but if eventually they catch up with Bayern then it is over for the Barbarians because Leverkusen are never going to drop point if they find themselves at the top of the table.

Good win for Bayern Munich, a really comfortable one. Yeah maybe they had a shitty performance in the first half but made up for it later on. A solid comeback.  

I don't get how they can struggle this much in the Champions League in the same season. Maybe it is because of Kompany's being inexperienced as a manager? The CL is nothing alike the Bundesliga in the end.

At the start of the match with Stuttgart getting the first goal in the early minutes they created an impression as though they were going to deny Bayern Munich all three points in that game but Bayern Munich were able to level the scores before the end of the first 45 minutes then coming back to the second half to get two goals in a roll.

In the champions league they haven't really made an exceptional performance for the Bayern Munich side we all know and how they have been very competitive almost in all seasons but we just have to accept that times have changed and it's perhaps affecting the club. Kompany having his first season at Bayern and for his class of manager it's fair to say he's doing his very best and probably with time he could bring Bayern Munich back to the UCL as dominant contenders and not what we're having now.

The title race this season doesn't favour Leverkusen as it did in the previous season where they enjoyed an unbeaten run in all games in the bundesliga, a performance that threatened Bayern Munich dominance of the league. Coming back to take their position Bayern Munich has been critical with their performance this time to beat Leverkusen to the race making sure they increase the gap with each game. Maybe this could be part of why in the UCL they are not in their A-game level as they are in their domestic league competition prompting them to qualify to the UCL next round too playoffs.

Honestly this is just funny. No matter how sophisticated a team could be, if you don't have a good coach to manage such team it's going to be a disaster for them. All am saying is, not just anyone can manage Bayern Munich, you must be very good to be a successful manager there. With Kompany just starting off his coaching career not too long ago I think he is doing great with Bayern when compared to what his contemporaries are unable to do in other clubs they've managed. If kompany was good as you have said he wouldn't have taken Burnley to relegation in the English premier league any body can couch Bayern Munich this team already have the players to win any team in Bundesliga, my very self I can couch Bayern Munich I already know players to fix in. He might not be dominating the league like he did last season but Xabi Alonso's record with Bayer Leverkusen is obviously telling of his incredible performance for the German club since he became their manager. 29 away unbeaten isn't record that would give you the title because at the end, it be that you dropped points in most of the 29 games by drawing them instead of winning but at the end, it is an impressive record that I think is worthy enough for them to be proud of. I don't even think Xabi Alonso and his men will be carried away with the records because their ultimate aim this season is to successfully defend the league title not setting exciting records that'll not amount to winning a trophy. Bayern Munich are currently 8 points better than them moving into the last 10 league games of the season but I strongly believe that Bayer Leverkusen will continue to pressure for a first spot until it's achieved or it becomes mathematically impossible for them to get

VfB still can't seem to hold Bayern for now which makes Bayern even more comfortable at the top of the Bundesliga standings. VfB actually played very well in this match especially when they took the lead first but a little unfortunate that Bayern are still Bayern where they are still a club that is very difficult to stop this season.

VfB did try more in today's match because they tried to get good momentum as a home match, it's just that the dominance they tried to create was actually used as a very good momentum for Bayern who did look good even though it cannot be denied that for this match Bayern also still have some mistakes made but in the end Bayern still managed to get full points while securing their position at the top of the standings.

Stuttgart was a great team last year too, and yet they ended up losing here. Nobody should expect Bayern Munich to lose this time around, I know that it sounds like we could make it change, but in the end we are going to end up with much bigger issues without a doubt.

I hope that things will get better and we could have a much better return, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with Bayern Munich losing anytime soon, it has to be other teams doing even better. That's what we saw last year, not Bayern getting worse, but Leverkusen being near perfect, if you want to beat Bayern, you don't expect Bayern to be bad, you just do even better than them. What is clear for VfB at the moment is that they are one of the clubs with seasonal moments because we realize that looking at what they did last season is a situation that rarely happens or is rarely seen for them. So indeed the defeat that occurred in this week's match will feel natural if Bayern is the culprit. It's not that VfB is bad, it's just that in this case the initial pribability against Bayern is one of the things that cannot be broken easily.

Leverkusen is a good and hardworking team with a good record but they have managed to win some of the matches they could have won. If they play hard against Bayern Munich, it means they want to bring down Bayern Munich because they think we can go up by beating Bayern Munich, which will affect Bayern Munich's record and performance. The place will be interesting as the tight competition between Bayern Munich and Leverkusen and the difference in points will make us more interesting.
