I wonder whether Lewandowski will decide to leave Bayern Munich at the end of this season. As far as I remember, there were some rumours in the last transfer window like he would be open to offers from big clubs. And Real Madrid were the most speculated team to sign him. But he wanted to stay and play for at least one more year here. But this summer, things could change for him I guess. Real Madrid wouldn't turn the opportunity of getting him down I guess. He is still one of the greatest strikers of his time. And he can still perform at a high level for some more years.
Lewandowski is reportedly currently in great demand by other clubs, Manchester City, Liverpool, Madrid and Chelsea really want to sign Lewandowski in the transfer market later, Lewandowski age which is no longer young, doesn't seem to discourage other big teams from being able to buy him from Bayern Munich, so far there has been no official clarification from Lewandowski about his future, but reportedly bayer munchen has set a price of around 140-150 million euros for those who want to buy Lewandowski, isn't that a crazy price for a player who will probably play in about 2-3 years again?

My Weekend Bundesliga Predictions

Its filled with exciting fixtures..

Augsburg Vs Bayern Munich 1-2
Arminia Bielefeld Vs Wolfsburg 1-3
Bayer Leverkusen Vs Bochum 2-0
Borrusian Dortmund Vs sturtgart  3-2
Mochengladbach Vs Greuther furth  2-1
Hoffenheim Vs Leipzig  2-2
Union Berlin Vs Hertha Berlin 1-1
Freiburg Vs Frankfurt  2-3
Mainz Vs cologne  2-1.

What do you think guys? You may want to go for 1x2 if you are not sure of the correct scores predictions

I easily see bayern scoring 3 or more goals against Augsburg so i think 4 goals or more bet on this match would be interesting. Your pick for Borussia Dortmund seems interesting and i could totally see that happen because Dortmund has a lot of injured players and they just did not perform that well in the last few weeks. If Stuttgart would not be in such a bad shape themself i would probably go for a draw in this match but under this circumstances a close victory for Dortmund seems like the most probable outcome, but i would probably go for 1 goal less there for both sides. Gladbach should also be able to achieve a much clearer victory against Fürth than the 2-1 that you predicted.

Lewandowski can score wherever he goes. But considering his age I think ok, he should stay in Bayern Munich. And I don't think a retirement is an option in his mind right now as he is still scoring like he is in his prime. But honestly, if he goes in some other League he will have much better competition in League games.
I think Bayern Munich as best option for him and keep retirement there because Bundesliga have less competitive than primer league or La Liga, I think is not best option for him keep try challenge on Primer League because there more competitive and now Lewandoski have age old year, not best ideas try with primer league with old years and he will faced difficulties keep playing there.

Yes, that is exactly what I think. But it's not like Lewandowski cannot do very good under those circumstances but it's not like him finishing on a high at the end of his career. He should stay after all he has some best achievements of his life in this club.

Many Bayern Munich fans hope that Lewandowski will stay at Bayern until the end of his career, because after all Bayern Munich fans love Lewandowski so much, and during his time at Bayern Munich, Lewandowski has managed to help Bayern Munich win seven Bundesliga titles, three DFB Pokal titles, and one Champions League title.
@hahay, I agree with what you're saying, because it's better for Lewandowski to stay in the Bundesliga, because we know that the Bundesliga isn't as competitive as other leagues like the English Premier League, and at 33 years old it would be difficult for him to force himself to play in a tough league like the English league.

Lewandowski is currently ranked second in the history of the best scorers in Bavaria. The legendary Müller (not Thomas, but Gerd) is in the first place and Lewandowski is almost 200 goals behind, but taking into account the fact that he scores an average of 45-50 goals per season, he may well have time to come out on top. It would be epic, I think.

The opening game is approaching us. It is going to be between Augsburg and Bayern Munich in WWK Arena in two days and it is the only game of the day also. Actually, there is not much thing to talk about this game. Because there is a very visible difference between these teams. In terms of quality and recent performance, Bayern Munich have been in a splendid shape. We have had an international break maybe but I don't think that this will change anything for Bayern in a bad way. I'll be expecting Bayern Munich to crush them.

He is still one of the greatest strikers of his time. And he can still perform at a high level for some more years.
I don't think it will be a good idea for Lewandoskii to leave Bayern Munich. I mean, Lewandoskii is 33 years old and he is not getting any younger. He next step should probably be retirement. Although, he is indeed still a great striker despite he age. And Real Madrid will gladly sign him, only if he agrees to leave Munich. However, the polish player sometime back talked about him leaving Bayern in order to face new challenges, but it seems Bayern never wanted to sign him out. Anyway, he contract with Bayern will expire in 2023.

I think he will not leave Bayern Munich as even Bayern Munich doesn't want him to leave. And I also think it's best for him to end his career with Bayern Munich. Because Bayern Munich has one of the best squads in football right now. And if he leaves Bayern Munich for another team then he has to adapt probably to a different play style.

Lewandoski leaving Bayern Munich will affect his football career and he might be forced to retire against his wish. He has built a good teammate at Munich where he understands his teammates, going to a new club would be like starting afresh which would definitely take him time to adapt to. Lewandoski is going no where he would keep playing and scoring at Bayern until he retires

Players will leave when they are at end of career. When they feel they are losing the solid position and be appeared more on bench, they will leave to find new challenge with a new club.

It happens for most of players. Even players like Robben, Riberry did not retire immediately after their contract in Bayern ended. They moved to other clubs in free transfers because they still loved football and want to play a few more seasons.

It's hard to predict what will happen with Lewandowsy, whether he will stay in Bayern or leave. Time will answer it for us. For now, enjoy his goals until the end of this season.

As his contract with Bayern Munich ends in 2023 I think ok bye and might just let him go but many other big teams still want Lewandowski in their squad. Actually, I don't think Lewandowski should have any problems about which team he wants to sign with. Let's just see what happens in the future.

I've talked about the next games of Bayern Munich, Dortmund and Freiburg before. And this time, I'd like to share my opinions about Leverkusen's next game also. Because they are one of the disappointing teams of this season. Actually they weren't like this at the beginning of the season. I was really enjoying their high performance. And they were as good as Bayern Munich as they were sharing the points with Bayern Munich being at the second place. But for four weeks, they couldn't have any victory in the league. And this caused them to fall apart and get too much away from the top. The Bochum game is a big opportunity for them to start recovering. I believe they will make it to the victory.

Considering each team performance, position in the table, its history and the current odds @1.18 for Bayern and @13 for Augsburg then I couldn't expect many things over there lol.
I don't find a very interesting game this round personally. The next one is better with Dortmund - Wolfsburg and Leipzig - Leverkusen

even with bookies, Bayern is expected to win this and I think this is a simple task for Bayern regarding what they did and their position they are expected to snatch the championship again this season, and if we look at Bayern's record 9 wins 1 loss 1 draw it is not surprising why the odds is like that,

And as for the Dortmund match, Stuttgart is also in their tight spots like Dortmund having 11 players that enable to play and 1 risk of suspension and having 4 of their best players that can not play Konstantinos Mavropanos, Marc Oliver Kempf, Hamadi Al Ghaddioui, and Omar Marmoush there is a lot of desperation for Stuttgart team, and even though Dortmund have 10 enable to play players they still have most of their key players with they and it is an easy match for Dortmund in my opinion,

In Leipzig case I think they are in their 100% even though they had 5 enable to play players, I think they can handle Hoffenheim, and they also have 6 enable to play players Hoffenheim needs to be in their 100% to take on Leipzig but Christoph Baumgartner is not with the team, I would surely pick Leipzig here.

When it comes to the Augsburg - Bayern Munich match, I think that it should be a very comfortable one for Bayern Munich. Augsburg are a weak team compared to Bayern Munich by far. Maybe Augsburg have the stadium advantage this time but this shouldn't matter much for their opponent. Bayern Munich are having one of their best times lately. Even this should be enough for them to destroy Augsburg.

Lewandowski is a very good player but Bayern Munich had to dare to sell him with one season remaining on his contract and Lewandowski is in top form at the moment, coupled with the age of 33 years is certainly not a good choice for Bayern Munich to invest in the future. There are still many clubs who are interested in getting Lewandowski and Bayern can get a sizable fund if they sell Lewandowski and can sign Haaland as his replacement.

I wonder how big the gap between Dortmund and Bayern Munich will be until Erling Haaland bounces back from his injury.
Haaland is a great player and an asset of Dortmund. His contribution for Dortmund is huge but please don't exaggerate the with Haaland, Dortmund will automatically fight against Bayern better. Last season, with healthy Haaland, Dortmund still fell far behind Bayern on the table sot the same gap can happen in this season even if Dortmund have a healthy Haaland.

Quote
For now, he is expected to come back in mid December. There were some rumours like he wouldn't be back before the new year. But it turns out that he can. He is their biggest player when it comes to scoring in the end. Being deprived of him, they are having more problems. For example, maybe they would have won against Leipzig or got at least a point if he was able to play.
This is only rumor but this injury and rumor reminds us about the risk of overuse young players. Many young players lost their career because of serious injuries. Walcott, Wilshere in Premier League are examples. They never came back to their best after recovery from injuries. Dortmund and Haaland have to take care of health condition for Haaland and how he should play, take rest at the right time.

If his body is not fine, the club should give him break time to recover.

You have a good point there that Dortmund couldn't get close to Bayern Munich till the end of the season. Dortmund weren't even at the second place and there was a gap of 14 points between them and Bayern Munich. Haaland scored 27 goals in that season of Bundesliga. I must admit that Dortmund are playing much better as a team this season. In the end, they can't win titles being dependent on Haaland only.

When it comes to the injury topic, I hope that Haaland doesn't come back as a weaker player. He is going to be out for quite a long time in the end. But I believe in him to continue from where he left. He is a very special player and none of us would like to see him losing his perfect performance.

Reus just publicly announced that he is convinced Dortmund will become the next champion.... Hm, as much as I like Dortmund, but that is not going to happen. Will see when they face each other in a couple of weeks.

Regarding the injury, no, Haaland is a different type of player and he is also much more robust than the players you mentioned. He isn't really the kind of guy who get injured because of a tackle as he has a very strong physique. He is going to come back even stronger. I have no doubt about that.
It is difficult for Dortmund to be able to win the Bundesliga this season or the next few seasons as long as Dortmund's player transfer system is quite bad, even a few seasons before they sold star players to rival clubs Bayern Munich, ranging from Lewandoski to Mario Gootze who became the star players that Dortmund sold to rival club and I think it's a very bad decision.

Yes but you have to look at it from a different angle: imagine both are a snowball rolling down a mountain, but Bayern is the much bigger snow ball already. They are gaining exponentially more power than Dortmund over time. That is the problem. The gap already is too big. If Bayern wants a player from Dortmund, they can just buy it out because 1) they have the money and 2) the player would want to leave Dortmund for Bayern for sure. Closing that gap is impossible unless Bayern is badly managed over a longer period of time.

Right now there may be a lot of speculation regarding Dortmund and really yes, Haaland is a totally decisive player for the team, but his coach already has the best strategies, Bayern may be in a better position than Dortmund (for now) but be careful , Dortmund I see him as a sleeping lion that should not be messed with, at any moment he wakes up and destroys whatever comes, obviously Haaland's recovery is imminent, and although that injury seems strange to me, because Haaland is like a very strong robot.

But one aspect from the perspective of Bayern is true: even if Lewandowski performs so well right now and probably will perform well for another two or so years, they already have to deal with a potential successor. The older players get, the more they are injured. Imagine Lewandowski gets heavily injured and missed four months or so. That would be a hell of a scenario for Bayern during a season. Salihamidciz already said that they are watching out for Haaland.

It is quite a challenge and a hard decision to make for the bayern officials at the moment regarding the future of Lewandowski in their club. In recent years Lewandowski said a lot of times, that he wants a new challenge and stuff like that and he even hired a new agent a few years ago in order to make a transfer to another Club happening, but Bayern always managed to make him stay with a higher salary. Now it seems like the odds have changed a little. After this season Bayern can have haaland for 75 m € and i think they will definitely try to get him for that.

The problem Bayern is dealing with is this: they have a world class offender who might soon not be so world class anymore. At the same time they need to sign another world class offender who would then sit on the bench for a while, but no world class offender would do that. I believe that if they do sign a world class player, Lewandowski is going to leave as the most likely outcome is that Lewandowski might soon be the one to be sitting on the bench. One injury, one chance for the new offender and Lewandowski might be out of the loop.

Lewandowski's remaining contract is about to expire, and seeing that he is 33 years old, it doesn't seem like a good decision to extend
Lewandowski's contract. I agree with you, Bayern should be more daring to sell Lewandowski at the end of this season. Moreover, there are quite
a lot of big clubs who are really interested in bringing Lewandowski. The money raised from the sale of Lewandowski can be used to buy
Erling Haaland or any young strikers, so Bayern made a very good investment. Although it must have been very difficult for Bayern to sell
Lewandowski, see his great contribution. But there is no guarantee that Lewandowski will be like Ronaldo or Ibrahimovic even old can still make
a contribution. Therefore, rather than taking the risk, selling Lewandowski is a good choice in my opinion.

In October, there were rumors that Levandowski wanted to move to Real Madrid and discussed with the club management the possibility of early termination of the contract. In my opinion, this suggests that even at this age there is a demand for him. I see that in modern sports the longevity of athletes is gradually extended and now a completely good age for playing is up to 35 years for sure. Such machines as Ibrahimovic, Ronaldo easily surpass this line, I think it is within the power of Levandovsky.

If indeed it is his own desire to move, then the club can not argue either. Unless the club still really wants him to stay, then of course there will be a lot of bonuses given from salary increases and something else. Basically even though Lewandowski is no longer young, the fact is that Lewandowski is still very productive in scoring goals so that at this age for Lewandowski no longer needs to be considered when players are still very productive, and with that of course any team will still be interested in him.

Which games at the weekend do you find interesting? There are no typical smashers. At least that is my opinion.
Okay. There is the local city derby between Union Berlin and Hertha Berlin. Games like that are always great to watch for the fans. But I don't see a top match this weekend.

I will surely agree with that and yes there are no interesting games in the upcoming Saturday just by looking at the matches you will surely speculate easily on who's going to win, but we can not really tell the outcome,

Saturday 20 November

Augsburg VS Bayern - Obviously Bayerns going to win no doubt about it.

Hoffenheim VS Leipzig - Leipzig will win, but Hoffenheim would surely resist, but because of Hoffenheim Injuries there is no doubt Leipzig will win.

Arminia VS Wolfsburg - despite having so much unavailable players to play Wolfsburg could win this.

Leverkusen VS Bochum - Leverkusen might struggle a bit but I think Leverkusen might win this aswell.

Monchengladbach VS Furth - Monchengladbach will win this no doubt about it.

Dortmund VS Stuttgart - Despite not having Erling Haaland Dortmund still have 4 spare tires that can eventually stay on the line, giving Erling Haaland time to return.

Sunday 21 November

Union Berlin VS Hertha - This could be an exciting match and you are right this might have a clueless outcome but if we look at the unplayable players for both teams Hertha have 6 players that can not play and 2 for Union Berlin, so in my opinion Union Berlin might have a big advantage.

Freiburg VS Frankfurt - Freiburg will win this, I totally have a feeling that they can.

Monday 22 November

Mainz VS Koln  - Mainz will surely have the upper hand in this fight.

This is just what I think but the result might still be different but I am just saying this on what I think the teams that have a big potential in winning.
