it is always harder for favorites after international breaks
Bayern have several (if not all) players in national teams, while Augsburg had time to prepare for this match, and cool down from the season a bit

nevertheless, I expect from Bayern to equalize and turnover the score in second half

Bayern is already having 13 points over Borussia so I think the Championship in Germany is already over as I simply cannot see Bayern to lose the title anymore so I guess they can afford to lose against Augsburg.

I know all teams at one point experience defeat in football, so i can't say i am too surprised at this result so far, however could there be a possibility that this bayern team are just deciding to give away this game to help the Ausburg side, else why are they not showing any hunger to win like the Bayern we know. Can they really bounce back from the result, come from behind and maybe get a draw or win eventually?

Im in shock aswell as you are. Bayern Munich lost to Augsburg 2-1 and i was waiting for just 1 goal since halftime to be scored and hasnt . I could have betted my house that there would be goal in the second half. Too many misses by Bayern Munich in first half and in second half without any idea

That was shocking to see Bayern defeated by a team in the relegation zone winning twice before in 11 games. Yeah I can understand the effort made by the players in different competitions and the tight schedule between training, playing and resting. It is just very unexpected and surprising to see that happening

From the other side its good for the other Teams , if they have done there homework and win there games on the Weekend.

Christmas is coming for all Augsburg Bettors and winter is coming for Bayern Bettors, No one expected this result, and yours truly have been 101% sure that Bayern Munich will win this, but I was really shocked by this outcome, Robert Lewandowski did what he could the expectation is really very high for Bayern to win and with this being said this is another error and failure for them, they are still human that can make mistakes, and I think just like with Monchengladbach in DFB-Pokal and Eintracht Frankfurt losses, this is just something that Bayern Munich is just like an ordinary team that can make mistakes, and this is normal and a good thing for Bayern that you can not get all the good stuff, and it seems that a team that is hard to hit on Bayern can surely retaliate even harder.

We get results like this 1-2 times every season in the Bundesliga. The only problem is that other title contenders like Leipzig and Dortmund always fail to take advantage of opportunities like this to close the gap. I hope Dortmund wins though since I'd be picking them as one of my selections. Dortmund us in the habit of dropping points when you're "really" expecting them to take all 3 points.

80% possession against a team in the regulation spot should mean they can at least two right?! but that's not what happened, Dortmund are now getting closer to Bayern Munich after this loss, and I thought Bayern won Bundesliga early this year, if Dortmund wins against Stuttgart tomorrow, they will be 1 point behind Bayern, they have to win to close the gap and take advantage of Bayern's situation.

yes, that includes me having to lose in my bet. who thought Augsburg could secure 3 points at home. of course many are placing bets for Munich. even more surprising, all three goals were in the first half. while the second half no goals were created.
