You are a little wrong because in this case Union from the start was very good in terms of performance.
9 matches, 6 wins 2 draws and 1 loss is still a very good record for them, especially in this case they are a club that can be said to be the strongest club in defense because they have only conceded 6 goals.

I don't think Union Berlin will lose against Dortmund in their clash, Union Berlin has managed to play some of the top teams in the league including Bayern Munich and with their results so far, I believe they have what it takes to defeat Dortmund or secure a draw. With the last draw seen in the last week's game between Dortmund and Bayern Munich, I think Dortmund may likely have a draw again because Bayern finds it difficult to win against Union Berlin in their home so Dortmund can't defeat them in their home.

Union Berlin will remain, league leaders if they lose against Dortmund because they are 4 points ahead of Bayer Munich and Dortmund s they will remain on top of the league with 1 point difference unless Freiburg defeats Bayern Munich which I don't think is possible.

It is very nice that Union Berlin is at the top of the Bundesliga, but I don't think that will last very long. Normally they don't even belong to the best 5 teams at home in Germany. Bayern Munich need some time to repair the damage as they are a few points behind. You shouldn't be surprised when Dortmund waltzes over Union Berlin. It would be nice for German football if we get a different champion, but the bad start of Bayern Munich must have been just an incident, right? I hope they have come to realize that when they also gave away a 0-2 lead at Borussia Dortmund.

I definitely agree that Union Berlin will probably not be at the top, or even within the top 5, of the Bundesliga table for much longer. They had an absolutely great start into the season and with a great defense and some luck they managed to win most of their tight games, but they always have to show their 100% performance in order to be able to do that and i don't think that you can do that for a few months in a row.
I doubt though that Dortmund will completely destroy Union this sunday though simply because Borussia Dortmund is also just not that strong. Yes they managed to achieve a draw against Bayern last week but in the end that was pretty lucky because the goal happened in the very last second and in the end it was still just a draw and they were playing at home.

I may not argue with what you say, but I believe Union berlin will finish the season in the top 4 and that will likely happen because of the form they put in earlier this season. Union berlin can be a dark horse and maybe they will be able to break the dominance of bayern munich in the bundesliga even though it is impossible but at least that is what has happened so far. I don't think so, because seeing Freiburg's result in this week's match, it's clear they are struggling and their opponent is Bayern who incidentally are the defending champions and are now trying to improve the result with the new Galtier scheme.

The spirit of the club is simply different than the others. Dortmund find talented players then sell them for profit to keep the balance positive, while trying to win Bundesliga and fighting for european leagues. They are not willing to spend like Barcelona to find themselves blocked nor have the infinite money of PSG and City.
