I think a lot of fans will be happy if Union Berlin can win the Bundesliga title. Because we are tired of watching Bayern Munich win the title every season. Every season we only see the dominance of Bayern Munich. So we want Bayern Munich's dominance to end, and a new team to win the title. Union Berlin have started the season well. They have occupied the top spot in the table for a long time. They are also 4 points ahead of Munich. Let's see how long Union Berlin can maintain their dominance in the Bundesliga.

I am part of the unhappy fans if that should happen, you can't measure how good something is until it takes time and give you consistent result and that is what Bayern Munich represents. Over the past six or seven years, Union Berlin hardly makes it to the top 4, they either end in Europa or they never even make it all and the problem with most of the rest of the teams that see Bayern as a threat most of the time sign old players who have little or nothing to offer the club in the long run. As for Union Berlin enjoying the top for now, they should while it last because the rightful people are coming to take the place.
Dortmund are even more of a disappointment since they sold their Haaland for a piece of cake last season and now they are struggling and dangling to win common Union Berlin.  

I think I will have to slightly disagree with you on this point. It is with great pleasure that I am one of those fans who would love to see Union Berlin win the league this season. As a matter of fact, it's no wonder the German league is called the farmers league since, for the past ten years, it has been just Bayern who have won every single time. The other reason why Bayern are a bit behind this season is that Lewandowski has left them, and for quite a while he was their main goal scorer for them. After a decade, we might be able to see some competition in the German league after Dortmund also puts up a fierce fight. In the past, it was just a question of how many points Bayern would win this season. This has got to change.

Guess it was just a matter of time when Schalke kicking out there Coach Frank Kramer , as he not archived what the Club wanted.
Bayern Munich , Dortmund , Stuttgart , Union Berlin and Freiburg managed to win there games in the DFB Cup , as i expected it.
The surprise was that Paderborn has won against Werder Bremen , thought Bremen will win there easy.

Unfortunately Werder Bremen and Paderborn managed to make the game a draw and neither won nor lost, the game on the field was also dominated by Werder Bremen.
However, the game went to a penalty shoot-out and when that happened then Paderborn managed to get the win through a penalty shoot-out. At least Werder Bremen have tried their best to get the win.

 Bayern never disappoint when it comes to playing 5+ goals when it comes to DFB pokal games and even though they are still shaky at best, they at least destroyed Augsburg 5-2 yesterday after beating Freiburg 5- 0 in the weekend.

 I won't be quick to wave off their chances of climbing back to the top because they still have that fighting bone in them and could quickly become a threat to Union Berlin's reign at the top spot and it could be made possible as they are just 4 points away from doing that.

On the other hand, Union Berlin became the only team that performed differently.
so far, they are still performing very consistently even though it has to be paid for with hard work. however, Bayern Munich's dominance is still very strong in the Bundesliga.
as we previously predicted, it is only a matter of time for Bayern to return to being top of the Budesliga standings.

@Tony116 it’s not surprising to see Dortmund perform so bad this season, because Halland was a key player for them and without him they were always bound to underperform. Furthermore I feel that they need to buy at least 2 player’s in the January transfer window, and if they don’t strengthen then it’s quite possible that they may end up outside the top 6 by the time this season ends.

Both Bayern and Dortmund had good preparations for replacements of Haaland and Lewandowski. Bayern bought Mane from Liverpool and Dortmund bought Haller from Ajax Amsterdam. It's just Dortmund and Haller were unlucky because the player suddenly was diagnose with a tumor in pre-season training.

I don't think that Union Berlin is a placeholder in there top of the Bundesliga table. I feel that they are here to contest for the title.We know that it is difficult for them to achieve it when there is Bayern Munich in the league but I am having this feeling that if you Union Berlin will be at the top of the table till January they will buy good players who will help them to maintain the title race till the end. I am so much supporting them and I will not bet against them. Instead I will avoid them in my bet.

In this case I actually see the opposite.
Unio became one of the problems for Bayern in standing comfortably at the top of the standings.
Their performance at the start of the season was good enough that not a few big clubs had to bow down.
But look at Bayern's performance that is getting better over time and they clearly now have a big chance to stick to the top before really getting above it.

Let's take a look at their stats in this game, they're amazing. They even shot 15 shots on target from 28 attempts. It's something we usually see when Bayern Munich play. Now I think the strength of Bayern Munich's performance has returned. 10 goals in 2 games is a really great result. Moreover, their previous match scored 5 goals against a club that can be said to be strong, but they can do that easily. Union Berlin must be careful in the Bundesliga table, because the threat is now real.

Union Berlin doesn't have the funds to buy top quality players during the winter break. We're not in the Premier League. They are playing an outstanding season, but IMHO sooner or later they will start losing games. Probably they will end up somewhere between 4 - 6 at the end of the season.

If they end up higher, it is not because of the money they spend, but the good teamplay and hype they currently have. It this once in a few years season in which everything goes well. They should be happy, but unfortunately this won't last forever.

Stake odds for this game are 1.52 for Dortmund while 4.70 for a draw and 5.80 for Stuttgart, Dortmund can be very inconsistent sometimes, but I guess this is 1 match they can win, I think they really need a super goaler after all, and Marco Reus could not play, and Karim Adeyemi is suspended, I think this will be a hard time for Dortmund and this is now on Julian Brandt and Youssoufa Moukoko to win against Stuttgart,

Union Berlin have actually been the dark horses this season but credit should be given to the head coach because since last season they have been phenomenal. Also qualifying for the UEL last season was a great thing. I liken them to the liecester team that won the EPL 2016. With there current team spirit now even after they lost some of their top players this summer I feel they will do great things. Concerning having funds, football is now a modern game that brands like to advertise with clubs that are on the top, so I feel that once the club does a miracle and steal the league from Bayern believe me more sponsors will come and also quality players will want to be part of a team. They just need to focus on getting the league and if they do believe then they might break the jinx of Bayern this season

In recent games his position has changed and Galtier is not selfish now by placing Mane on the flanks because indeed he is better in his original position than having to be forced to be a center striker and be a target.

This is clearly a wise choice because if you always force Mane in the middle then this will have an impact on their performance and goal productivity, so it is better for Mane to be on the wings.

Almost 1/3 of the league was played since Bundesliga have 34 games so there is 24 games left. There is still much time for Bayern to recover and for Union to lose or to maintain its positive results! 4, 7, even 10 points look tiny since failing in few games in a raw will throw them from the first place.

If Bayern Munich lost and Union Berlin won and brought their point difference to 7, but this is not half their way. There's still a lot of games and there's still a lot of possibilities that could happen. Union Berlin can maintain its position if they are able to maintain their form. because, I believe Bayern Munich can play and get 3 points in the match. It depends on Union Berlin, and their meeting with Bayern Munich will change the situation.
