I don't really think that the bad quality of the players is the reason why Bayer Leverkusen is performing so badly so far in this Bundesliga season. I think it's a mixture of a lot of factors. First of all their most talented player Florian Wirtz had a cruciate ligament tear and could not play in this season so far. Wirtz is probably among the top 3 young players in Europe so that alone is a huge loss for Bayern Leverkusen. Then Schick is also having a pretty bad run at the moment and is not as efficient with his chances as last year.
I also think that they had pretty bad luck. Bayer Leverkusen was the better team in the very first Bundesliga match of this season against Dortmund but they have lost this match and when you start a season with such an unlucky loss then the confidence already gets a hit.

After the break both teams improved but Gladbach was a bit better. But it was not comparable to the first half and the 3rd goal from Gladbach was a bit too much. A draw would also have been fair.

I havnt seen the game between Gladbach and Stuttgart but my bet was for a win for Gladbach.
From what i have heard and readed Gladbach was very lucky that they won the game in the end.

I don't understand how Leverkusen, who went to the champions league last year, is playing in the relegation zone this year.  They also managed to go to the European Cup by eliminating Atlético Madrid at UCL.  I can say that they have had a serious success in European cups.  In the league, their situation does not look bright.  They should do something in the transfer window.  Winning is very important to them.

It's all about management of club that has been deciding to buy too many young players that lack of experience. This was making the club has a horrible result as these players are new in the bundesliga and they need some experienced players to make the team become balance.

This might be the week Union Berlin can lose the lead to Bayern Munich.

Because Union Berlin have an away game against Leverkusen. They don't even have one win in their away games against Leverkusen in their history. The performance of Leverkusen has significantly degraded. And I really don’t know if they will actually be able to stay out of the relegation zone when the season is going to end. I am also not sure why this type of thing has happened to them.

I will not stick to the results of their last match to be able to determine which team is stronger to achieve results in that match. I'm more interested in seeing their performance statistics this season where Dortmund is better than Bochum and if you look at the standings table Bochum is a team that occupies the bottom of the standings then on paper Dortmund will be able to win this match, even be believed that the match between Dortmund vs Bochum will lots of goals going on. Dortmund are really eyeing 3 points in this match to be able to catch up on points from the leaders of the standings.
