We don't know about Tuchel's leadership in Bayern Munich yet so it's too soon to say if they will show a better performance than the last games they had or not. All we know is Tuchel is a famous coach for his performance at Chelsea but on the other hand, Dortmund got the first place in the table after trying hard for it and I don't think they will allow Tuchel and Bayern Munich to get this position from them.

It's not too early, but I'm just trying to be optimistic and nothing more. Just because pinning hopes on Tuchel doesn't mean I'm 100% sure Bayern Munich is back to great form. Both results are quite surprising for the moment at least since Augsburg aren't that good while Wolfsburg played better in the recent games.
For Leipzig, they still have time to get equalizer and even win although Mainz didn't lose any of their last five games..

From Bayern vs Dortmund statistics in the last 9 meetings Bayern had unbeatable records from Dortmund and from it Bayern has got 8 wins and besides that during this season Bayern still unbeatable at home so this makes me so sure Bayern will be the winner of this match and taking over Dortmund position in the first place besides that Tuchel isn't new coach in Bundesliga especially he has coached Dortmund 2015-2017 before so he probably know the weakness of this team

I am sure Tuchel will starting his debut match with sweet result because certainly Bayern will going to win this match but indeed the odds for Bayern win looks very low @1.48 but in my opinion this is the safest option for this match

But the team that wins the match will make their chances better than the team that loses. I think most likely Borussia Dortmund will be careful that they can get points in this game, if they can't win, then they won't let Bayern Munich win the game. For Borussia Dortmund, a draw will also be very meaningful for them to move forward, because they will still be above Bayern Munich.

So excited for the German Classico but being a Dortmund fan I have a really bad feeling about this.

BVB tends to choke in big games when the are against Bayern , and I fear today will be the same thing.

My prediction is Bayern will destroy dortmund like 4:0 but just because of my feeling, not because of my heart of course.
The game will start at 1:30 am for me and will stay up in hope of seeing a good game from BVB. Let’s see if I have to go sleep at halftime.

We're just few hours away from the bundesliga game of the week between Dortmund and Bayern Munich. Dortmund is sitting on top with a point ahead of Bayern and they have won their last 7 home matches in the league and also an unbeaten 10 games streak. Bayern on the other hand were beaten by Leverkusen to bring to an end their 3 games unbeaten streak. The game promises to be a cracker as Dortmund would be hoping to extend their lead on the table by clinching an home win and Bayern would also be hoping to bounce back from last week's defeat with a win for their fans.

It's hard to decide the winner, but I think Dortmund's run of form, home advantage, and lack of european engagement during the midweek gives them an edge as they would be going into the game as favorite.

I wonder why you say this is the final, will today's match decide the Bundesliga champions? I don't understand because basically there is still 8 to 9 more matches for each team, while the difference between Dortmund and Bayern is currently one point, it is still difficult to determine who will be the champion even if one of the two teams comes out as the winner today

 Leipzig is now underperforming, for long they would have been overthrown from the 5th position if not for Frankfurt's aq@poor performance since the past 6 matches.     Now making 2 loses in the last 5 matches for Leipzig. I am so disappointed at their performance against Mainz. Much Dominance in ball play with no single goal registered, not even good attempts made. It would have been a good chance  to step into the top 4 region now that Freiburg is having a tough time with Hertha.

Leverkusen have made a really good progress so far since Xabi Alonso became their new manager.

We are seeing them holding the 8th place in the league table being not much away from a spot for the Europa Conference League. There is still quite much time to be able to make this happen also. But they need to stay concentrated on this while they are fighting their way to success in the Europa League on the other hand. They have a quite big chance to go for the semi final round also considering their current competitor. I think the supporters are happy with the rise of their team now.

Yes, the leverkusen is slowly finding its best performance again. to achieve a place for the European Conference league I think leverkusen will be able to achieve it because the difference in points is only 4 points from Eintracht Frankfurt.  The 3 matches they have played have ended in wins so if Alonso is able to maintain a stable performance in the upcoming matches I think they will have a better chance of reaching 6th place

I was impressed by their game when they beat Bayern Munich.  the team's performance and efforts were strong enough in that match which was able to make Bayern Munich lose that match. In the match against Schalke, I think Leverkusen can continue their winning trend if they are able to show their best performance like when they beat Bayern Munich because Schalke is also targeting 3 points to get out of the relegation zone.

Leverkusen is performing better time after time, they are in the 7th position of the table while they are getting better slowly and I guess they could reach the top of the table if they were performing like this weeks ago. Leverkusen won the game against Schalke while they performed very well and they scored three goals I think Xabi is finding his way in Leverkusen and if he stays in Leverkusen we can see a better next in next season.

The match between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund that is starting in a few minutes is definitely the most important Bundesliga this season and probably also in the last few years. At least in regard to the fight for the title of Bundesliga champion. The other matches between the BVB and Bayern in the recent years were not as important because in most cases Bayern was already leading with a lot of points back then. Now Dortmund is in front of Bayern.
So if Dortmund manages to win today against Bayern then they definitely have a big advantage because they are then 4 points ahead with only 8 more matches to play. Still Bayern is the big favorite for me to win today.

Let's be honest: Bayern Munich's prospects aren't great right now. While Tuchel's track record at Chelsea is impressive, that doesn't imply he will restore Munich to its former grandeur. Bayern Munich has established a very high standard with their 10 consecutive title victories. It's the equivalent of trying to scale Everest with a broken leg. Not to mention the several unsuccessful Dortmund matches played at Allianz. To put it bluntly, Munich appears to be cursed. So, before we get our hopes up, we should pause and think, "Is Tuchel really the answer?" Can Munich regain its former glory? Or are we just preparing to be let down? Nothing but time shall tell.

At this moment the team that will win the Bundesliga league is not still known because the teams at the top are having no much difference of point. I think what you actually mean is that today is the final meeting between Dortmund and Bayern Munich this season because today game can't determine who the winner of the league will be as there are more than 9 matches to be placed by both teams before the league will be over and whoever win in today's game will go back to the top of the table and there only possibility of the winner of today's game winning the league is if the team do not lose a match again or draw till the end of the season.

Until the final whistle the no team is favourite to win this game because Bayern Munich is not as strong as they use to be in the league this season they are stronger in the Champions League while Dortmund is hoping to win the league because they are out of the champions League so on this case I expect a fight from Dortmund in this match regardless of their poor winning history against Bayern Munich.

With that much dominance in the match, it was clear that Frankfurt had lost their mind to be able to break through the Bochum defense. On the other hand, Bochum was a little lucky to be able to hold Frankfurt to a draw away from home, which proves that Frankfurt is not so scary when playing at home. With this result, Frankfurt's position is slightly threatened, because Wolfsburg is ready to shift its position in this week's match.

As I thought, that this fight will end in a draw. even though Frankfurt is the home team in this match, they have difficulty toppling their opponents who incidentally are not a tough team. in fact, Bochum took the lead in the 13th minute. fortunately, Kolo Muani was able to equalize to 1-1 in the 22nd minute. unfortunately, both teams were no longer able to score goals until this fight was over.

Even so, actually the home team should be able to win the match over Bochum. because based on data and statistics, Frankfurt controlled the game. noted, they had 73% ball possession, 19 total shots, 7 of which were on target and 7 shots were blocked. unfortunately, only one chance they were able to convert into a goal. on the other hand, even though Bochum was unable to produce full points in this match, they succeeded in avoiding defeat. as a result, both teams must share the same one point. on the other hand, Oliver Glasner has homework that he must fix. at least, in the future he has to revive the mentality and team spirit to return to the winning path.

Well it looks like Bayern Munchen is making short work of Dortmund as they are already leading 2-0 before the 20th minute of the first half.It looks like they are very serious in this game and they are dominating completely the game,I am finding it very strange to see such a weak Dortmund during this game although it is still very early and things may change drastically till the end of the game.I have a bet on both teams to score and I think Dortmund will at least score a goal as I am sure they will try to fight back and to get at least a draw which right now seems highly unlikely.In fact I am also thinking betting a draw live as the odd is really great right now or even to try little money on a Dortmund come back.

What is this? 26 minutes in and it's already 3-0 to Bayern. Is the current Bayern with Tuchel at the helm that scary or are Dortmund just not playing well.
I thought it was going to be interesting at first with the back and forth between each other but with the way things are now I feel like it's a massacre for Dortmund in this match.
The match is still very long, but the mentality of the Dortmund players is already quite broken with these 3 goals.
