no one expected schalke to be able to score 2 goals against dortmund when dortmund was in their best form, haller and bellingham were not even able to do much. the match between union berlin vs wolfsburg was quite fierce, this draw made union berlin and wolfsburg's position in the standings unchanged.

They must perform better than Bayern Munich if they want to be involved in the title race this season, the draw they got against Schalke must be the subject of evaluation, because in the next match they must get full points so as not to fall behind Bayern. Thus their opportunity to compete with Bayern Munich in the title race is still quite open.

I think the Dortmund players were still frustrated when they were eliminated from the Champions League by Chelsea so that the Dortmund players seemed to experience a slight decline in mentality which made the match against Schalke not go as expected. lucky for them not to lose from this match but a draw makes the point difference to 2 with bayern munich.

After watching this match, I feel that the main reason for Dortmund's defeat is their poor match strategy. Dortmund's tactics were not good in this match. Their are still games to be played for Dortmund  but the problem is they be consistent in this games. The consistency of clubs at the top now still has a big problem, they always waste opportunities when they have the opportunity to overtake Bayern Munich. Dortmund needs to be ambitious in terms of their policies the German league is listed amongst the top 5 leagues in Europe but the competition they're giving to Bayern is it top notch they need to learn to keep their best players and not ell them out as if they are sporting Lisbon or Ajax their mentality is only on making profit not to win titles and as long as that is on Bayern will continue to win their league title..

I think not having the consistency is the reason why they haven't won in the last 10 years as well. They weren't bad teams so far this many times in a row, of course they had some great teams along the way, but what happened is that they lost to teams that they could win against, which caused them to lose the league as well.

Same will happen this year, Bayern will win because they win the games they need to win, and Dortmund lost points on a game that they needed to win and that's why we have such a situation at hand, we could have done a lot better and we are not seeing them potentially winning the league due to these type of games in the end.

I think losing against Chelsea in the Champions League has affected their confidence because they should not be losing that game. I love Dortmund and I think they are 1 of the best teams in the league but confidence is a big problem in football and they are going to be disappointed for being knocked out of the Champions League but I think it is the way they got knocked out that is going to affect them longer. Chelsea are not a good team atm and they got beat despite leading in aggregate.

Because Wolfsburg were trying hard to score a goal with so many attempts. But a penalty was a big help for Union Berlin to get ahead all of a sudden. Wimmer's answer came finally in the last ten-minute period of the game. His shot was pretty interesting by the way and his luck helped him also about that goal. But it was good for the young midfielder as he didn't score a goal for a long time before. Wolfsburg are of course not an easy competitor for most of the teams in the league. It is still good for Union Berlin as they got a point at least.

In a game, anything can happen. a team that is much better than its opponent, will not necessarily always win game after game and this happened to Dortmund. draw against Schalke, can be caused by many factors. however, to be honest, I did not watch this fight. but in theory, we can learn from various match highlights or based on available statistics from the match. statistically, Dormund should be able to gain maximum points. because, they have a very positive record of available statistics. sadly, the home team was lucky. because, they were able to take advantage of the gap and equalize to end in a draw. plus, mentally, Dortmund's performance was a little disturbed after they were pushed aside in the Champions League.

It is really hard to trust a team like Union Berlin. They have been consistent at the start of the season. After that, they were inconsistent in the middle of the season and now after showing some promises again, they are performing inconsistently again. I think it will be a great achievement for them if somehow they can finish in third place.
