Really no, these friendly matches can't be relied upon. Since this has been a lively discussion now in many threads, it would be nice to have an aggregate overview of the top teams, their friendly matches and whether these matches were of any significance in predicting a team' success at the beginning of the season. When the coaches substitute 10 players, how is the result of such a game still a good indicator or predictor for the results in the games under real competitive conditions?

I don't think Bayern Munich will even miss Mane because even with the little time he has spent there, he doesn't have playing time to display his talent due to the serious injury he underwent last season, and by the way, Bayern Munich is full of talented players even currently. So even if Mane tries to stay, I don't think it will have much chance of playing full matches. So his departure from Bayern is even better. Mane left Liverpool. If they want to win title their best opportunity was came last season because you know last season Bayern totally underperformed, their performance was totally erratic. No way I want to say Dortmund is the strongest team and their performance is higher level, but their performance is decent enough. Sadio Mané would have been a key player for Bayern Munich if Bayern Munich could have used Sadio Mané properly last season and if he could have played the full season for the team. I am following Bundesliga for decades and I have feeling that Borussia Dortmund never been had any serious try for the title as their role model is just buying newly players and after having some good skills and experience sell them on high price because with these things are going good in finances, and they are having enough funds which are covering this all for them here in Bundesliga.

Bellingham and Haaland were on the Dortmund team, but they still couldn't win the Bundesliga, proving that having good players isn't always the solution. The fundamental problem was in the consistency of the club.
Dortmund always lacks of consistent once it comes to the end of season. Many people realized that if dortmund shall solve this problem as soon as possible before it's too late.

indeed it is Dortmund goal to find young talent to build new talent with more quality and then sell at a higher price to make a profit and for me when Dortmund let Bellingham go they will not feel it will be something bad because this is their business. I dont doubt anything about Dortmund but in reality they do not really own this business and last seasons game lost Haaland everything was fine to be able to compete until the end of the season even though they failed and this failure is not something bad for him because the initial goal is to develop young talent and the title would only be secondary in his dreams.

I think Dortmund will continue to do this business and that is indeed their main goal in developing every young talent they have. I thought, is it possible that players like Haaland and Bellingham will stay if there is an offer from their dream team? most likely they will leave without coercion because it is also their goal to be able to win more titles with certainty.
