That game was a punch in the face for Mainz. This game certainly destroyed Mainz goal statistics and I am sure they would remember this bad performance in Munich if they really fail to prevent relegation due to their goal difference. No team needs to get slaughtered like that even if they are far worse on paper.

I wondered whether this was the highest win of the season, but no - it was the game against Darmstadt where Bayern won 8-0 last year in October. But that game was full of chaos as Kimmich conceded that red card after 4 minutes and then Darmstadt got decimated due to 2 red cards against them in the first half. The game against Mainz was by far not as chaotic.
