It was 100% guaranteed that Tuchel won't stay until the rest of the season. After their loss in Boch a blind guy would see that coming. It was only surprising that it didn't happen earlier this week.

Like I said he is going to stay until the end of the season. So Bayern Munich are parting ways with him this summer, not right now.

Probably Bayern Munich wanted to wait until the summer because of not being able to reach an agreement with a manager of their choice yet. I actually think that there is still a chance for Bayern Munich. Because nobody knows for sure what is going to happen. Maybe Leverkusen might actually face some injury problems which could be a very bad thing. I think this is just a rumor and probably won't happen and therefore, I think Bayern Munich will just try to appoint one of their former coaches. But indeed, there is still no certainty regarding Xabi Alonso because after all, Xabi Alonso is very strongly linked with Liverpool compared to Bayern Munich .
