Of course Bayern Munich played very well. However, they could not win the match because they could not score more than one goal. Still, they had a clear advantage over Bayer Leverkusen. I thought Leverkusen would at least try a little in this match, but it seems that they won a point by defending without trying. Bayern Munich gave them a huge advantage. It was a good match, but there was no winner.

I just feel they know what they went for and as far as the results of the match are concerned, they’re both okay with them and would love to still their irrespective fight for the league title. Bayern Munich dominated the game earlier but could not take full advantage of it because of the defensive mindset of the Bayern Leverkusen team. This match did not give us the definite team to be at advantage for the league title because they both proved to be worthy of it at the end of the game. The league is still far from coming to an end now, so I just hope both of the teams will show what they’re capable of and remain at the top of the standings till the end of the season. There second meetup should be a more focused and open one to know which team is the best for the league title.

It was a high profile match and it lived up to expectation. The draw wasn't really bad for both clubs. I'm just happy with the way the match ended, because that was exactly what I predicted before the match started. Bayer Leverkusen played the way an away team should play against a team like Bayern Munich.They were playing Bayern Munich and you don't expect them to come out fully and be playing with full attacking as Bayern Munich. If they had done that Bayern Munich would have won them. Bayern is a free scoring side and they would have scored more goals if Leverkusen didn't adopt the defensive approach that they did in that match. Leverkusen are satisfied with the outcome of the match.

I watched the match, Munich's ambition to get 3 points was very visible, they pressed Leverkusen in the early minutes so that they were less comfortable in controlling the ball, Alonso's squad was indeed under pressure but they still showed that it would not be easy to beat them, the defense that was built so solid and the tight attack built by Kompany's troops were unable to penetrate it, this draw is certainly fair for both teams who showed good performance in the match, I am increasingly convinced that the competition in the Bundesliga this season will be even tighter.

This season Bayern Munich has a mission to be able to become champions again and beat Bayer Leverkusen as their tough rival, but because Bayer Leverkusen still has the same strength as last season, of course this must be overcome by Bayern Munich this season. The draw they got in this weekend's match is a very common thing because basically both teams still have very good strength even though in terms of ball possession it is still dominated by the host, namely Munich.

To be fair, they missed one here without a doubt. They played much better, more shots ,more possession, better passing, they had the chance to win and they missed their chance. I think it is going to be Bayern with the title again, they are looking great. Kompany is proven everyone wrong, he didn't had the experience to manage a club like this but he has shown the world that he knows what he is doing and he has been working towards making whatever they can make to keep winning.

Kane may finally get the cup he always dreamed about, unless something major happens, we are going to see Bayern get back to the top of bundesliga and lift the trophy this season. Leverkusen isn't bad, I just don't think that they are good enough to win it this season, Dortmund doesn't look like they will win neither, Bayern has the advantage unless they do something silly and start losing or something but that's not the type of team Bayern is.

What the hell is going on in the Hoffenhein - Werder Bremen match? Is anyone following it? Hoffenhein scored 3 goals in 10 minutes and then received a red card and Bremen scored 2 goals within 5 minutes and now it is 3-2 for Hoffenheim in the first half. Man if they lose because of the professional foul, which led to the red card, it would be crazy. He shouldn't have fouled when it was 3-0. Rather let the Bremen attacker go through and score the goal. It would still be 3-1. That wasn't very smart. This is going to be a veeeery long game for Hoffenheim and it is all about defending for now. Bremen is pushing a lot. Craziest game of the weekend with a red card and 5 goals so far during the first half.

Despite it being too early to judge which team will be relegated, I agree with you that Holstein Kiel may very well be the first team to be relegated at the end of the season with their poor performance. In just five matches, Holstein Kiel has a goal difference of -10, which is very bad. Honestly, it is clear that their defensive line is very weak, as opponents can easily score many goals against them in each match.

Holstein Kiel needs to focus on fixing their defense; otherwise, the efforts of their attackers will be wasted. Their attacking line is trying because they do manage to score goals, but if attackers are putting in effort, defenders need to work harder so they won't concede so many goals. Currently, Holstein Kiel is at the bottom of the table, and with this performance, they may remain there until the end of the season unless something is fixed.

If it's by the performance of Leverkusen against Bayern Munich, then I will not agree that they are ready to defend the title even if they didn't lose the match, they didn't perform so well that I will say they did better, they only went defensive at some point so as to get this draw because they understood that Munich came for a win and the only way to avoid them getting that is to make sure they score minimal number of goal and that was what they achieved with their defenses.

I will even give the chances to Bayern Munich much more than I would to Leverkusen as currently Bayern Munich only needs to keep winning and a few draws, they are going to stay ahead in the league even if Leverkusen try their best to do better.

However Leverkusen has the probability to defend the title they won last season, but the challenge will be tougher than before. especially if we refer to the Munich vs Leverkusen match, where the dominance of the match was still controlled by Vincent Kompany's team. plus, in terms of opportunities Bayern is far superior. if two shots did not hit Leverkusen's post, Bayern Munich at that time could have won full points. well, Alonso has a harder task so that his team can work like last season. I mean not because they are invincible, but the effectiveness and defense line are not as fragile as they are now. just look at Leverkusen's statistics, from 5 matches they have conceded 10 goals. of course, this is homework for Alonso and his staff. if not, Leverkusen will not be able to defend the title they won last season. After Bayern Munich started the season on a very impressive fashion by beating teams with high goal margins, many had thought that the current reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen will not match their strength when they meet each but getting a point away from Allianz Arena is a strong indication that Bayer Leverkusen can still defend the league title this season. There's more to play by both teams but for now, I'm still backing Bayern Munich to clinch the title at the end of the season

I have to agree with you, Holstein Kiel is really very weak and if some things doesn't change very quickly, they will soon no longer be able to stay in the Bundesliga. Bochum is also very weak and only have one point from 5 games, but they are the more experienced team and will find it easier to pick themselves up. Only 5 games have been played but so far it is clear that Holstein Kiel were not ready for promotion last year.

Holstein Kiel is a promoted team and about Bochum the truth is that last season Bochum finished in the bottom three, but Bochum still managed to stay in the Bundesliga this season through the play offs. Thus, it doesn't seem surprising that Holstein Kiel and Bochum are the bottom  teams this season that are likely to be relegated. But even so, at least I also don't want to judge them too quickly but anyway, the reality is that they are really weak in defense.

Because of course, with a weak defense and not being able to consistently score goals, which  means they are also weak in their attack, it will be difficult for them to get out of the relegation zone. 5 games have been played so far this season in the German Bundesliga and Holstein Kiel and Bochum are two only two teams with one point which was gotten when they played out a draw last weekend. Like you said, I think newly promoted Holstein Kiel are definitely going to be relegated season.

It seems you've forgotten that Bayern Munich wasn't playing against an average team but the current German champions. Expecting Bayern Munich to easily get a win against Bayer Leverkusen in my own opinion is a disrespect to disrespect to the achievements of Xabi Alonso's men in the last one year. Leverkusen want to use the strategy and technique they used last season and because it did worked for them last season and they won the league title with an unbeaten record along side, they are believing they can achieve same this season even if it's without the unbeaten record, I'm saying this because like you rightly mentioned, in the game against Munich it was obvious they were playing for a draw and it they didn't mind if they don't win, maybe they are looking at drawing with the bigger teams who may pose some threat and win the smaller teams, that way they may be able to accumulate points enough to get to the top but if they continue with the draw mentality, they are most likely not going to win the league title again, maybe they could just finish at the third or second position on the table by the end of the season.

I fully agree that they for sure in the last 3 spots and my personal opinion is that they end it on the last spot.
Frankfurt played a very well game and they are on fire this season , hopefully we will see more of them.

A surprising result was today the game between Hoffenheim against Werder Bremen , but Hoffenheim got a red card in Min 18.

I'm beginning to wonder if Frankfurt will be able to maintain their current momentum and results or if they'll soon be sent back to the mid table.
