I thought initially that Leverkusen would take possession of the ball in the match. The quick goal that made Leverkusen's advantage made them quite comfortable and decided to focus more on their defense. Dortmund's steps in doing more attacks and possession of the ball were of course because they were under pressure with the score behind. However, Leverkusen managed to maintain its positive trend in the Bundesliga. A good result to catch up on Munich's points difference.

It is not that Bayer Leverkusen actually didn’t take the possession off Dortmund but rather they couldn’t take it off them because the Dortmund side are actually very good with holding the ball and they simply just don’t utilize their chances, the home loss was Dortmund first loss of the season at home and that should tell that Bayer Leverkusen did a very great good by keeping them at bay. I was expecting a draw though but even the win I was predicting a narrow one and it was what happened. Bayer Leverkusen had a game plan to actually get their goals early and you could clearly see it from there press since the very first minute.

It is a good boost for the Xabi Alonso boys because this help them gain confidence and momentum to take on anyone else, although I see Bayern Munich winning the league but I also think it will be one tough one not the easy rides they got in the past years

Oh! i also heard about Dortmund missing some key players after the match, i didn't get the chance to see the lineups before the match started, it was later during our normal football argument that i learnt about it. Nevertheless, Borussia Dortmund had a amazing game despite losing some key players from the game.

Bayer have shown in recent matches that the team is progressing, Alonso quickly dealt with the starting failures and now this is the Bayer we got used to last season. I was not sure that they would be able to beat Dortmund away, but they did it, I could only assume that there would be a lot of goals in this match. Thanks to this victory, Bayer came closer to Bayern to 1 point, Bayern has not yet played its match with Monchengladbach, but now any loss of points will bring Bayer closer to them.

Today's game might be a tough one for Bayern Munchen giving the fact that they are going to be playing away to Borussia Monchengladbach and they are fully aware of how difficult it is for them on that turf, again coupled with their injuries. I hope Vincent Kompay figures out a way to beat Borussia Monchengladbach today when they meet, if they lose or draw then its good news to Bayern Leverkusen who will be 1 or 2 points  respectively within the table leaders.

Actually I don't expect this game to be a walk in the park for Bayern Munich because Borussia monchengladbach have the home advantage and would want to give Bayern Munich a run for their name, it's not going to be easy for either sides. Bayern on the other hand seem capable of winning this game even if they are the visiting side, they have a good team with classy players who have the ability to dictate the pace of the game and keep possession of the ball, their finishing is top notch all thanks to their prolific striker Harry kane who has been very outstanding for the side this season, I expect them to struggle a bit in this game but I think they are capable to winning all three points at Borussia monchengladbach.

The blunders made by Borussia Dortmund players in the early minutes of the match were one of the reasons they were able to experience a home defeat in the match. On the other hand, the pressing done by Bayern Leverkusen was extraordinary and was able to suppress Borussia Dornmund's defense line. Trailing 2-0 when the match was not even 10 minutes old, this made Borussia Dornmund's position as the host very depressed, from the beginning of the match until the end of the first half the Borussia Dornmund players played with full emotion. which made the first half end with a score of 3-1.

In the second half, the Borussia Dornmund players seemed to start playing calmly and began to find their rhythm, this was proven by the very great ball dominance and more attacks, they managed to reduce the score to 2-3. However, it seems that in the second half, Alonso implemented a different strategy, where in this half they defended more than attacked.

Leverkusen may not be good enough in terms of ball possession, but Alonso's team has a strong defense and speed and accuracy in attacking, so they can win this match. and with this victory, Leverkusen managed to narrow the points gap with Bayern Munich, where at this time the difference is only one point. and we just have to see the results of the match between Bayern Munich VS Monchengladbach, and if Bayern Munich fails in this match, then its position at the top of the standings is really threatened.

i am yet to understand what is going on in this match, both teams seems to be too careful and afraid of each other, Bayern has not ben their best in this game, i hardly even saw Harry Kane in the game, it was towards the end of first half that i heard his name from the commentators lips. Seems like its only Thomos Muller that needs this win, his been the one pushing the team forward and tackling to recover the ball from the final third in the opposition's half. Maybe we might see one or two goals in the second half.

Both teams are doing well, but based on what I'm seeing, this game could possibly be a draw because Monchengladbach is also doing well and they won't want to lose; they will most likely share a point with Bayern Munich, and if Kompany draws tonight, it will definitely give Xabi Alonso more opportunities to top the league because the difference will be only one point, which will give them motivation to perform better so that they can overtake Munic. With the way they played Dortmund yesterday, you will know that Xabi Alonso still needs the league. and he will do all is best to achieve the title for the second times. since Munich as started weak they can't get chance to achieve three point again just making a draw or probably lose. Let just see how the game will probably end up with because this game can be a draw if Bayern Munich didn't put more effort on the pitch because they need to hard point so that they can continue topping the league more.

It seems almost impossible for Bayern Munich to lose points from this match. They have dominated the game against their opponents very well so far, they have hardly found any goal opportunities. Bayern, on the other hand, are playing very well offensively, and although they have trouble scoring goals, they are currently ahead in the match thanks to a goal they scored from a penalty kick. The score will probably not change in the end of the match and Bayern will leave this match with 3 points. I would be really surprised if they lose points

Unfortunately Dortmund failed to maximize the match against Leverkusen at Signal Iduna Park, even though initially I thought this match would end in a draw. Amazingly, Xabi Alonso's team was able to take a quick lead which made the home team look overwhelmed, within 19 minutes they were able to score 3 goals into Borussia Dortmund's nest. Fortunately Dortmund was not too embarrassed by scoring 2 goals in return, although that did not change anything about their defeat. As a result, Dortmund is increasingly struggling to reach the top four of the Bundesliga standings, which means Nuri Sahin has an even harder job. At the same time, Leverkusen continues to advance with its positive trend, they are increasingly solidifying their position in the runner-up ranking. In another match, Munich is currently ahead of Monchengladbach even though the score is narrow, but if they win this match, Bayern will again maintain the points distance from Leverkusen. Well, the competition is still wide open for Leverkusen with many matches until the end of the season. Likewise with Bayern Munich, they must stay on track if they want the Bundesliga trophy this season.

It was like a walk in the park for Leverkusen when they were attacking against Dortmund. They could have scored more goals than this as well. Dortmund are really vulnerable against through balls and crosses.    They concede goals too easily. Like they conceded 2 goals in the first 8 minutes of this game... Nuri Şahin still can't find a solution to their defensive weaknesses. This is just shortening his time at the team day by day honestly.

After getting a 3-2 win here Leverkusen have started to wait for Bayern Munich to lose points. It isn't impossible though considering the h2h history at Gladbach's home.    But I think Bayern Munich will manage to win anyway.

You are right. Surely it did felt like walking in the park for Leverkusen when they were attacking against Dortmund. It was a shame Dortmund was humiliated at the Signal Iduna Park as they couldn't deal with the pressure of Leverkusen as their backline was vunarable anytime when they attacked. It was a good effort from Leverkusen, they played well in general. Their win over Dortmund will surely boost their confidence to continue on their fine form.

Although only 1 goal for Bayern Munich was created throughout the match against M. Gladbach, it was able to make Bayern Munich keep their distance from Bayer Leverkusen who were able to win three points yesterday from Dortmund.
Bayern needs to be consistent in winning points in every match. That can help them maintain their chance to achieve maximum results at the end of the season.

In the first half, Bayern had difficulty in scoring goals but it did not discourage them from continuing to try. Although the goal was created from the penalty spot in the second half, it meant a lot to them.

The second really went in favour of Bayern Munich, they had more chances on goal and has the more shots in this game but were only able to score only one goal which gave them the winner in this match. It was a well deserved result seeing how they battled in this game to get a win. This will make them sit more comfortable on the league table and will not have any doubt of been replaced anytime soon by their closest opponent, Bayern Leverkusen.

Bayern Leverkusen have continued to dominate themselves in the fight for the Bundesliga title and with what they’ve shown so far, they’re very much in line for the Bundesliga title. They played at home against Borussia Dortmund and they made it look like they were the one at home and confidently won the match. Their positive trend will continue to give them an edge in the fight for the Bundesliga title, and I am optimistic that they will end the league in a good position if not the league winner.

If the referee had not given Bayern Munich a penalty in this match, it is likely that no goals would have been scored and the match would have ended in a draw. A result that is not at all impressive.

In this match, Bayern Munich not only dominated in terms of ball possession, but they also continued to lead the attack. 23 shots in one match is a fantastic number, but it is very unfortunate that only a few shots were on target at Monchengladbach's goal. In this match, Monchengladbach displayed a fairly tough and solid defense, they only gave a little space for Bayern Munich players to shoot directly towards the goal. Monchengladbach managed to overcome the pressure given by Bayern Munich throughout the match, and if only they could maximize their counterattacks, maybe Monchengladbach would have gotten a better result.

Although Bayern Munich was only able to win narrowly in this match, and this was through penalties, at least with this victory Bayern Munich managed to increase the points difference with Leverkusen, which was originally 1 point to 4 points.

It is actually boring because no one expects Bayern Munich will have to suffer these in that game considering their performance and how everyone put hope on them to win the trophy this season. When I saw the performance, I was even weak because I don’t think Bayern Munich will be able to fight back against Bayer Leverkusen. Because of the way Bayer Leverkusen is playing, I think they will be able to win this trophy again because Bayern Munich's performance today has made me lose hope in them. If not for that penalty, they would have ended up on a goalless draw with Gladbach. It was not encouraging at all.
