Because after all, basically Bayern Munich really had a very high dominance in this match, but Bayern Munich was unable to win with a big score. Also, the only goal scored in this match was a penalty kick goal and thus, Monchengladbach really only played defense  until Bayern Munich got a deadlock. I'm personally betting on Bayern Munich -1.5 and obviously, a narrow win like this is a pretty boring result for a team that has high goal attempts, ball possession and shots on target, but can't manage to score another goal.

Sometimes, matches like this are hard to win, ability to escape defeat or a draw is what makes you a champion because such matches do spoil plans as the teams will strive to win, until you show strength and experience before you can defeat them.

I am also a bit disappointed at Bayern Munic in today's match because they were supposed to score minimum of three goals given the level of dominance we saw in the match. The only consolation is the fact that they were able to win the match and collected maximum point against a strong team like Monchengladbach. They will mee Hoffenheim next, a team that lost to Wolfsburg today so I expect Bayern Munic to win that match with many goals continue their lead over Bayern Leverkusen that seems to have picked form and are energized by their defeat of Borussia Dortmund yesterday.

With Bayer Leverkusen breathing down Bayern Munich's ass, they would take and be happy about any kind of win that they can get. Had Bayern Munich failed to score even the one goal, Bayer Leverkusen would have been just two points behind them, hopes higher to defend their bundesliga title. Harry continues scoring, with his 15th league goal this season. I am thinking that a big part to determine if Bayern will win the Bundesliga will be if Harry Kane keeps scoring and finishing off opportunities created for him.

I watched the Bayern Munich game at Borussia Monchengladbach and if you ask me, there wasn't anything convincing about the win. Bayern Munich struggled to win the game but the gesture from Vincent Kompany when the final whistle was sounded proves that he was happy with the result regardless.  When you're hunting for the league title, there are games you must win even when you didn't play well and that's what the away team did in that game.

That said, Bayern Munich must understand that Bayer Leverkusen are now trying to catch up with them in the league table which is why they really need to improve from what we saw today or risk losing the top spot before the end of the season

It is not always easy for Bayern Munich whenever they are playing against Monchengladbach especially when they are away, so I was not that surprised, as they don't even score many goals despite their attempts. Monchengladbach has always been known for their defensive pattern whenever playing against Bayern Munich. Even so, I was not expecting many goals from the match, as Bayern Munich was on an away match.

Although in the end there was a condition where they had to concede 2 goals but in the end it did not change their victory and 3 points managed to get them while maintaining a 4-point margin from Bayern at this time.

I think one good reason for Leverkusen to win this match was having Xabi Alonso in this team since he is experienced enough and he helped this team win this match.
Checking the possession I think Dortmund had much more control over the game, and to be honest, Dortmund had perfect defensive power but having more control and good defense couldn't help them at all. Now Leverkusen is even closer to Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich recorded a 0:1 win today against muchenglabash to extend their lead in the bundesliga to four points I didn't expect bayern to get a win away from home but a penalty was all that they needed to get the three points I think bayern has to show character going forward because if they are to win the league Then they need to be consistent with their performance going forward

It is actually boring because no one expects Bayern Munich will have to suffer these in that game considering their performance and how everyone put hope on them to win the trophy this season. When I saw the performance, I was even weak because I don’t think Bayern Munich will be able to fight back against Bayer Leverkusen. Because of the way Bayer Leverkusen is playing, I think they will be able to win this trophy again because Bayern Munich's performance today has made me lose hope in them. If not for that penalty, they would have ended up on a goalless draw with Gladbach. It was not encouraging at all.

I did felt disappointed at some point,  though Bayern Munich did won the game and made three points but for me they could have done better, they had the chance to do better,  they didn't utilise their chances enough and at some point it felt like they won by luck because even the winning goal came in the last minute and not one thar they had much earlier,  so for me I even want to come down their opponents enough to have held the game that much,  though I expected both teams to have a goal each.

Ok you post this statistic and then you argue that it was not surprising for you because you predicted this result before. That's hard to digest in the first place, but alright, you are posting this and maybe you want a response of some sort and intellect maybe maybe? I don't know. You say that Alonso was the reason Leverkusen won this game. Assuming that this is correct and he somehow was the decisive parameter in Leverkusen's game, what other statistic of the screenshot you posted implies that it is "not surprising that Leverkusen won the game". Now please assume that you can't see the result and someone shows you that screenshot. You would instantly say that Leverkusen won the game?

Bayern Munich was lucky and we can't ignore it at all. Even in this match Konpany and his players could lose points against Mönchengladbach because they just won the game because of the penalty kick. However, Mönchengladbach could lost the game in other goal opportunities Bayern Munich had in this match.

It was a match that could not be resolved for Bayern Munich, where attacks did not score. They were lucky that they were able to score with a penalty kick. However, the opponent had a strong defense. You're right. It was indeed by a stroke of luck that Bayern were able to defeat monchengladbach because if that penalty hadn't come in, the Bavarians would have settled for a draw and it would have been a pitiful result for them and a blessing for Leverkusen as they would have been able to reduce the point gap.
I think Bayern Munich should be very serious right now in the league because any slip can see them kissing their chances of winning the league title this season a goodbye and I'm sure Xabi Alonso won't mind lifting it the second time in a row and if they (Bayern) don't succeed in lifting it, will the Management be patient with him enough to still allow him retain his job since he could not help them carry the trophy?

I checked the statistics between Bayern Munich vs Mönchengladbach, i found out that in the last seven years Monchengladbach has being a pain in the ass for Bayern Munich. I was not surprised when i saw both teams performances and the game having just one goal. I think even the coach wasn't really impressed with his team scoring only one goal.
