Leverkusen this season is not strong enough to compete with Bayern Munich, maybe this is because every team in the Bundesliga is familiar with Leverkusen's game, this is very different from last season Leverkusen performed very consistently. I think we all know that Bayern Munich is in a much better position in the Bundesliga this year. With Kompany, Bayern Munich has reached a much better level. In fact, when you look at it, there was a lot of criticism and concerns about the coach at the beginning of the season. However, we see in the current ranking and game that these concerns are unfounded. They also played well in the Champions League, but they have had a difficult time in a few matches. Disappointing result for Dortmund in the game, this was a game they should have won despite going down to 10 men. They already had a two goal advantage but failed to defend and hold on to that advantage until 90 minutes but a draw still isn’t a bad result but I think a win would have been nicer. At least Mike Tullberg would have recorded a win in his first game taking charge smiles.

An early red card created huge pressure on them but they have still done good job in first half and ended on lead while in early minutes of second half they have another goal which give them good confidence, but Werder Bremen is always quick to give their response in all conditions.

After 60 minutes game their aggression started, and they give surprise to struggling home team which not able to stop them from scoring two goals and have another poor end of their game which keep them away from win now in last 10 games they are having just 1 win with 4 draws and 5 loses mean their chances are now limiting them to have top four chances while in coming matches they are going to have more challenges.

It's almost a week since Dortmund sack Nuri Sahin but until today there was no progress about new coaches which probably Dortmund still considers several names candidates but unfortunately we only heard Ten Hag who linked to them but seems the negotiation is deadlock because both parties haven't reach an agreement and i think Dortmund should be immediatelly to decided who is new coaches who in charge

I mean it's risky to hold Mike Tullberg for much longer as the caretaker because we have seen Dortmund performance not too satisfied under him when they fight against Bremen last week and for Champion league Dortmund has important match against Shakhtar Donetsk which this is crucial match for Dortmund but judging from Dortmund latest performance i doubt they can win over Shakhtar Donetsk

Bayern Munich got a little closer to the Bundesliga title after last week results. But only a little considering there are still 15 more games to be played and the gap with Leverkusen isn't that big (6 points).  

I still don't expect Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen to drop down from the title competition easily. I think they will be a part of it until the end of the season. Maybe they don't have the same dominance but they are still doing an amazing work.

That draw against Leipzig was sad for them though. Leverkusen were the better side but it wasn't enough anyway. Leipzig were in control of ball possession maybe but Leverkusen were the one creating the most amount of big chances.

I think at this moment Dortmund president and the board are confused and they don't know who to bring as a new coach, getting a good coach at this moment will be very difficult, Before sacking Nuri Sahin I heard that Erik Ten Hag and after sacking Nuri Sahin I heard that they are not interested in Erik Ten Hag again, Although I don't think Erik Ten Hag is the best option but at least they should manage him for now maybe he will turn things better for Dortmund.

Seriously, six points is not big, but I don't think Bayern Munich will want to mess up any match again unless they are just not lucky enough to win this season's Bundesliga trophy. Recently, Leverkusen has gotten closer to Bayern Munich. Even though Bayern Munich's performance has improved, they are really serious and don't want to make any mistake that will allow Leverkusen to catch up with them. They know that if Leverkusen manages to take the first position from them, it will be very hard to regain it.i can't say much, but at this moment, I have confidence in Bayern Munich to win this season's Bundesliga. You don't know what you are talking about. Even Vincent Kompany know that there is pressure on his team. 6 points is not very big just one loss and a draw everything will scatter for them. Bayer Leverkusen is in a good form right now and if they continue like this, they will get ahead of Bayern Munich. If Bayer Leverkusen manage to get same points with Bayern Munich at this stage of the league, just know that the trophy will go to Leverkusen. Xabi Alonso has been in this league before Kompany and he understands how the league works. So the pressure is now on Bayern Munich and they are going to lose matches before Leverkusen. You are correct that many people predicted that Bayern Munich would not win the league title before the season began. Many people believe Kompany lacks management experience because he has never managed big teams like Bayern Munich; they had to struggle before winning the league title on his debut. But, as time passes, Kompany has proven many people wrong because he has never managed a big club before. Bayern Munich has only lost one league game this season, against Mainz, and even Leverkusen, last season winners, has yet to beat them.

But at the moment, I am not confident that no team will be able to stop Bayern Munich in the league this season, given how poorly they performed in the previous Champions League game; they were defeated by a team that was unable to reach the top of their respective league, so Bayern Munich could be defeated by any of these teams struggling in the league. I only wish Bayern Munich win the league this season for Harry Kane to win his first league title at the age of 31.

The draw finally happened. After Leipzig scored the equalising goal, here were no much scoring chances for both sides. Although Leipzig did push for the winning goal, but it never came. Bayer Leverkusen missed most of their scoring chances earlier in the second half. If they had score at least one of those chances, they would have won the match. Although I blame Granit Xhaka for committing that offense that gave Leipzig the free kick that led to the second goal of the home team.. He shouldn't have hit that player on the faces. You have already won the duel, why not keep your hands in the normal position without hitting your opponent on the face. I'm sure he is going to regret ever doing that.

It was a thrilling game between the pair in the weekend. I cannot explain how Leverkusen let that two goal lead slip away I just have to give credit to Leipzig for doing incredibly well to make a come back in the game to share points with the visitors. I cannot blame Xhaka for the incident because sometims when you are in motion you don’t control the movement of your hands, this things happen.

It is also true that Leipzig is not an ordinary German team and Leverkusen lost two points against a strong opponent. Before this match Leipzig performance is unstable they even suffering several loses in Bundesliga so i thought Leverkusen will get easy win from Leipzig today especially Leverkusen can gets the winning streak previously but surprisingly Leverkusen got unfavourable result because they were only playing draw from Leipzig actually on the first half Leverkusen can leading the game 2-0 but Leipzig can able to equalized this scores which the final result is 2-2 and after this result Leverkusen has 6 points behind Bayern Munich and their chances to taking over first place from Bayern Munich is getting thin

I had the same i thought when i saw the fixture i expected Bayer Leverkusen to take advantage of their poor performance and obtain 3 points to keep the pressure on Bayern Munich and see if they can drop points and secure first place but they were the ones that couldn’t keep up. Now Bayern are 6 points clear now and now it is getting more difficult for Bayer Leverkusen to keep up. Leipzig have been struggling with their form but even so Leverkusen couldn’t beat them, they went 2 goals up but Leipzig didn’t give up until they equalized. Leverkusen needs to learn to defend their goals if they want to be a strong contender for the title.

We all thought same before the game but the outcome proved otherwise Hence this is a good result for Leipzig making a come back to share points in a game ghat seemed already lost in first half. Maybe Leverkusen underrated them and relaxed after leading by two goals only to be shocked by Leipzig making a shocking come back to get back two goals. Well done for Bayern for earning 3 points on Freiburg. I knew it won't be an easy game as Freiburg tends to lose points by draws not losses, but, despite not having that many scoring chances, Bayern managed to grab a win.
Unfortunately Leverkusen wasted their 2 goals advantage they had over Leipzig up until the 41st minute and they let Leipzig take the initiative and eventually level the score to 2-2.
Now the gap between the first Bayern and 2nd Bayer grew to six points and it will be really hard for Bayer to make that difference up. They will be playing against Bayern at home on 15th Feb, and if they fail to win, it'll be really hard for them to defend their Bundesliga champions title.

Another game without a win for Dortmund, but I don't think anyone is surprised by that. To their credit, they managed to take a 2-0 lead despite being down to 10 men, but were unable to carry that to the final whistle.

Personally, I didn't believe that Bayern will be able to win the title this season due to the excellent performance of Leverkusen last season. I thought that Leverkusen will replicate their performance last season in this season. Also bringing Kompany as the head coach gave me more doubt on Bayern. But when the season started and the way Bayern were so aggressive in winning their matches, I was shocked and had no option but to concur that Bayern is in the best position of winning Bundesliga this season than any other club.
